“Our family has ordered here for quite a few years and have never been disappointed. In fact, this is probably one of the best taquerias in the area with unmatched flavors.

From what I understand, the produce used in their meals is homegrown and you can taste the quality. It’s not often that you find homegrown produce and ingredients in restaurants in our area, so this is a treat in my opinion.

The meats are all incredible quality and fair portioning. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be their adobada which is flavored to perfection.

Quick recommendations on an order are: flautas, super burritos, tortas, tacos all of which you can’t go wrong.

Lastly, it’s family owned. You can tell that their effort is compromised of care and love. These two ingredients are what many other restaurants lack and Del Rio Market is abundant with.

If you’re looking for a homestyle Mexican restaurant, you have to try this spot. I’ll only spend this much time on a post if it’s worth it :) they’re absolutely worth it!“

“Had to stop for fuel on the way up to the high country to clear up some misconceptions that some Scallywaggers have on what private property means, and the J&L Market Deli sure looks inviting. I didn't have a lot of time so I just got a plain old ham sandwich, and all I can say is WOW!

“Generous portions with their carnitas tacos. Moist with a good mix of juicy and crispy meat. Salsa, lime and onions add a nice complement of acidity. Flour tortilla holds the package well. At $2.50 per taco, you get a good price. Overall it surpassed my expectations!“

“I’ve been here several times, usually with friends who eat here often or go for takeout. When someone says, “let’s go to the restaurant,” they know exactly what that means. La Fiesta Mexicana is well known in the surrounding neighborhoods, but perhaps a little under the radar in the balance of Stockton. Very diverse menu of delicious home-style Mexican food. Good selection of “mariscos y pescados”, seafood and fish. Fantastic home-made salsas! Last time I had a standard combination plate with succulent chili rellenos, and took home a tasty supreme shrimp burrito, all reasonably priced. Good food! I recommend this place!“

“Truck easily located of a main street in a parking next to a convenience store and a place that serves aquafresca and ice cream.

We ordered a grilled chicken burrito 🌯 and carne asada fries 🍟. Good portions on both the burrito and the fries. It was a a good burrito. Came with a couple of sauces, and one of them had a nice kick.
The flavor was good, but I can't say it made me want to come back for the same chicken burrito. Next time, I'd have to try an al pastor burrito to see. The carne asada fries were good, but I wish they used shredded cheese versus the nachos cheese. The steak pieces were flavorful. The fries were cooked well.

The workers were nice and professional. He mentioned that you can pre-order and gave us their business card, which was good to know. Several customers ordered from here during the short time that we waited, so it seems to be a frequently visited truck.

“Really, really good Mexican food that isn’t the conventional representation (which I also love) you find. The staff is great. The Modelos are cold. The chips and salsa are fresh and are also delicious. I’m working my way down their menu and I have not been disappointed. I recommend eating here often.“

I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were sizzling hot when they arrived. The chips and salsa were pretty good too, especially the salsa which had a nice kick to it. “I’m a connoisseur of food. I eat all types of ethnic food. I’m not Hispanic. Somebody gave one star to this establishment and I do not agree. I have gone to this place at least once a week for the past seven years and what they serve is always consistently good. So don't expect waiting in a restaurant like environment. They work really hard at their craft, and it shows. The food is very good and fresh. “Calling this little restaurant a taqueria seems a bit understating things. My wife and I are new residents in the area and have tried it a few times now. The last time we decided to eat there and the fajitas were served just like a full restaurant, only they tasted better than most. The service is always friendly here also and the decor is casual and clever. But today I had the absolute worst experience I had ever had with this truck. I ordered the same thing I usually always order there. The young woman...who I rarely ever see there took my order, she even repeated it back to me...I paid what I always pay for it. Then the cook calls out a totally different order...I corrected them and said that's not what I ordered. She gave me hecka attitude when I said that. I told her that this was what I usually always order...she gave me "I don't know what you usually order," And they both reacted badly towards me. At this point I was pretty heated at the attitude I received from them, I was extremely P.O'd and walked away leaving them with the money I had already paid. I snapped a few pictures of their truck to post all over social media. I happen to work right where they always park so I'll make sure to tell everyone I see that goes there what my experience was there. I guess they got their last tip ever from me since I left without getting my money. Now I absolutely don't trust eating from there...I'm not going to eat whatever tainted food they would give me in the future. Don't EVER go to this truck. They lost a really good customer. This one is parked on Frontier Way in Stockton right off of Arch Road. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW I went back and told them that I was going to post this all over the Internet and on social media. Smaller bowl for the price compared to other places that serve bigger bowls though. Enchilada combo was ordered for party member as well. Enchilada had bland taste that was better after adding salsa. Came with side of 2 tablespoons, maybe, of rice and beans and a small hard taco filled with mostly lettuce. Guess they ran out of rice? Two of us ordered the menudo which came with microwaved tortillas...and quickly ran out of them even so. Waitress wasn't attentive, even though we were the only ones eating there. Would definitely order the menudo again.“
