“Husband - Had a little time to kill and had always wondered about this Krispy Krunchy Chicken joint, so I asked the attendant what she recommended. They were in the process of closing early, but the chicken sandwich; which had to be made, is what she recommended because "it's kind of fire." Well, I thought, if it's worth postponing the shutdown process, I'll try it instead of the already made chicken peaces.It came with their cup of their house sauce for 54C, which tasted like creamy coleslaw. It was ok. 7/10 I also got their hot sauce for the sandwich, but it was just tangy instead of spicy. The wedges were plenty and filling but not flavorful, almost no seasoning. The sause helped a little but not enough. 6/10The sandwich itself was good, crispy breading and tasty pickles, onpar with Chick-fil-A. Ignoring the big chunk of gristle I bit into, I'd give it an 8/10.Overall, the price was right, and if you're on the road, this is way better than any gas station food.I left fool and satisfied, and that's what matters.“
“I thought the food was really good! I have never had the food from here before. I wish I would have ordered 10 piece shrimp, instead of only 5!!! They were the star that stole the show! They had to make them fresh, so it took a little longer, but totally worth the wait. The mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy were hot and fresh too! I thought both were good, my friend likes her own homemade mac & cheese better. I thought it was pretty good. The biscuit was nice and buttery with a touch of sweetness. I am not normally supposed to have bread, but I'm glad I tried it, because it was really good. Like I said, the shrimp was the best part of the meal. It had a slightly sweet flavor to it, and so delicious!“
“This is a small family owned and run business. It is a hole in the wall but it is well established and been around for years. The locals find this place to be a true gym when craving fish. I personally don't eat fried food often but the food was good. Hush puppies were excellent, a little smaller than I expected. The fish was delicious and good size portions cooked to perfection! The coleslaw was not good at all! It was bland and tasted like mayonnaise and cabbage. I was highly disappointed in the coleslaw so I suggest you pass on it, don't waste your money. There is no service as you place your order at the counter and then they call your number to retrieve your food when it's ready. Only thing I can say is they are friendly and patient while you peruse the menu searching for what you want to eat. I highly recommend you stop by and try this place out if ever in the area! I just as highly recommend you skip the coleslaw! Parking is limited and can be a challenge for anyone who may not want to or can't walk too far. We got lucky as we went at the opening of the restaurant so we got front row parking right in front of the door. It is located in a busy strip mall so that is where I foresee it could be challenging.
