18 Best Chicken Restaurants in Modesto

“Hell, yeah these guys have some of the best chicken and sauces ever. Definitely recommend the Cajun, rodeo, black cherry, and if your adventurous the XXX. Give them a try definitely worth it.“

“My first time at Church's Chicken, WOW! The chicken tenders are fantastic, crunchy batter on the outside covering the most tender chicken! The biscuits were soft and warm with a hint of honey. I had the fried Okra, there was enough for three people, so good! We will definitely be back! p.s...thank you to Juana for helping us with the menu items!“

“I recently visited this KFC, and I had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was clean, the dining area was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The staff greeted customers with a smile, were polite, and prepared my order quickly.

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with great seasoning. The fries were hot and crispy, and the drinks were served cold. Everything in my order was correct, and the portions were satisfying.

Even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained fast and organized. It's clear that the staff work hard to keep the place clean and provide good customer service. Overall, this is a great place to grab a tasty meal at a reasonable price. I would definitely visit again and recommend this KFC to friends and family.“

“I got two of their chicken sandwiches, thru the drive-thru. The guy at the window had asked Me if I wanted either Classic or Spicy, I don't ever remember ordering chicken sandwiches from KFC, so I said how about one of both? He said awesome, pull forward. I ended up liking the Classic more than I did the Spicy. Both sandwiches were tasty and of good size, especially with the coupon!“

“Was an hour wait! But worth it! Thank you nick for being awesome“

“The atmosphere is amazing 🤩. They have a great variety of cocktails with a full bar! Service and staff are super friendly and of course you are going to get authentic Mexican food. Great place to honest parties or gatherings for all ages as they have karaoke I believe and a couple cool claw machines for the kids and even the adults with worthy prizes!! Must visit!!“

“Best flavor of fried chicken around! And don't sleep on the taters!“

“Great quality chicken. And good biscuits.“

“I’ve stopped at this location many times over the last 20 years for gas or a soda and snacks, and for the first time today finally tried the chicken. Prior to today I’ve only had the biscuits which are ADDICTING! The only biscuits that come close to as delicious are Texas Roadhouse but really Texas has rolls, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken has actual biscuits.

Anyways, I was disappointed with my purchase today only because I had to get chicken tenders instead of a thigh or leg, and they don’t sell all the side options which are printed on the menu. I wanted red beans and rice and had to get the wedges.

However, I am so satisfied with the food I got that I stopped eating before i finished to type this review. I will definitely be stopping for food here more often. Hoping to try an actual chicken piece besides the tenders one day.“

“Chicken is good and it seems to be fresh all the time which is a huge plus. The staff is very friendly which is weird if we talk about chicken sold at a gas station lol
Keep the prices affordable, add more salsa choices and this will be an all time loved here in Modesto.“

“Sensational food my a phenomenal place. The food here helped delete my extremely irritating erratic behavior. I was fully satisfied with my hunger filled and body recharged to continue this expedious quest of finding chicken of master's“

“went to KFC yesterday and had such a good experience! Jiselle and Valeria they were both super friendly and patient while I decided what to order. The food came out hot and fresh — the chicken was crispy and the biscuits were amazing. It’s nice to see staff who actually seem happy to help. Thanks again to Jiselle and Valeria for making my visit so pleasant!“

“April was such a breath of lovely air, my family THANKS YOU AND ALL THE STAFF THAT MADE OUR LUNCH AMAZING!!! KUDOS TO ALL OF YOU SPECIAL PEOPLE 🤗“

“Honestly the man at the window is what every restaurant is missing he wasn't even overly fake he was just a nice normal decent human who understands and does a beautiful job I so appreciate him. Please don't lose him and please I hope others learn from you guys it literally is the interactions that matter more than the delicious food“
