“I was happy to of stoped in on this bakery the man was not open yet door sign said they open at 6:00am it was 5:45am he still opened the door for me let me in I then asked him for one of each item he just pulled out of the oven he bagged them for me and to my surprise only $13.64 wow lots of sweet bread for a low price man me and my family loved eating this sweet pan in the mornings when waking up drinking our coffee I'll definitely be a returning customer !??”

“My family and I come almost every week because this food is so delicious. The people are so kind and friendly. There's a giant alien outside which I think is really funny. Once you go, make sure to order some of their extra salsa because it is amazing. Their salsa is one of the best I've ever had, and it is especially good on tacos. If you order an extra plate of onions they are always cooked to perfection. The meat is soft and so flavorful, the tortillas are the perfect consistency, and my overall rating is 10/10.”

“I visited Lucille for the first time and was blown away by how cute the interior/exterior and how delicious the food and drinks were. I had a savory toast and latte and it was delicious!! “Try their lunch buffet if you like a variety of pizza spicy and regular styles for lunch, give their lunch buffet a try. At only 10.99 including drink it is a great bargain these days. The food flavorful and well prepared. The buffet gives you a way of tasting their many and varied styles of pizza, then you know what to order for a good Friday night at home. “This is one of my favorite places to go! The wine selection is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines. The food is incredible. We always got the bruschetta with burrata and it's great. The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top with pesto and tomatoes is just lovely. We recently tried the smoke, whipped feta. We had a hard time not finishing the whole thing, it was that good! I've taken so many friends here. My company has get togethers here from time to time. At this point this place is just part of my culture. Camp 4 has been in Modesto for a while and we are lucky to have it!”

I'm originally from Monterey county but lived in Turlock for 10+ years and I can legit say this spot is one of the best in Nor Cal and the Wings!! OMFG!! the wings are some of the best I've ever had, ever!! Their some of the best and I recommend them to anyone who likes wings! Parmesan garlic wings are their specialty but all are so good and big and juicy and crunchy and OMG I'm driving from Monterey to get these wings tomorrow. Thank you for your existing!”

“My first detailed review since this is one of the first AYCE hot pots in Modesto, and I want to give my thoughts about it, so apologies for the long paragraphs I'm about to type! Let me tell you something. It's been a hot, HOT minute that I've been to an AYCE hot pot, and it's in the Bay of course (e.g. Shabuway). I was curious to try this out yet it's one of the first locations in the U.S. (mainland), the rest are in Hawaii. By the ambiance, it was super clean and came in on a normal Tuesday with my dad, when they just opened. However, during the weekends, be prepared for the wait time, as it's best to be a bit early before it closes so that you have a chance to try this place. Now onto the experience. As usual AYCE Shabu Shabu places, you order the soup base and order your meat. During lunch (which I went), meat (unless you pay extra for their premium meat), the sides, and the sauce bar are unlimited. I picked the miso base while my dad picked the seafood base. The conveyor belt on the side to have easy access in getting your sides, which honestly is so cool to take as many as you like. Also if you order meat, there will be a cute train delivering them to you, which is also cool to see. For the taste? Chef's kiss. Miso is super rich and yummy, while the seafood is good too. Haven't tried the other flavors but planning to order some next time. You can only order one soup base though and can't change a different soup base. However you can ask your server to ask for more broth, just that the flavor will be in original. The meat is fresh and tender, as well as my sides complement beautifully with the soup. Dipping sauces also complement too, and that sesame sauce...my GOODNESS. It reminded me of one of the sauces I tried in a KBBQ restaurant. In conclusion, for the atmosphere, unlimited meat, sides, and sauces, plus the quick service, $24 for lunch AYCE is worth it. And especially since I didn't see one AYCE hot pot location in Modesto, this is a start for many people to hang out and enjoy the comfort of eating Shabu Shabu without driving to the Bay. Trust me, if you're waiting for an hour on a busy Saturday, it'll be WORTH. THE. WAIT. :)”

If you phone in an order and live within a couple miles, you can head right over and it'll usually be ready when you get there. Try the Jalepeno Popper Burger (recommended by Emily, hostess) the brioche bun is soft and buttery, the kind where it just feels so right in your hands, that little bit of squish as you squeeze down. The burger is delectable. Every ingredient made to not overwhelm the senses, but yet create a symphony in your mouth. A Jalapeño popper concert in my mouth more specifically. It was paired nicely with rosemary fries. The fries were thin and fresh, not to crispy, not to soft.The bananas foster bread pudding was recommended for dessert (Lauren, server). It did not disappoint. Warm vanilla ice cream with Ooey gooey goodness of bread pudding. The warm and cold, the way it melts in your mouth with every bite. It’s a big serving size but a great size if your wanting to share something sweet at the end of your meal with your date.The people:Polite and friendly staff, awesome recommendations. Quick to serve.
