Was introduced to Cariblue by my daughter Donna and the food was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely be there regularly to try different dishes. We had the jerk chicken and shrimp curry last night and tonight we're excited to try the oxtail. Love the freshness and home cooked flavors. You can tell Abel takes pride and time preparing his dishes. 10 out of 10 recommended!!

My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and decided to drop in for some Jamaican food and WOW! It tasted so amazing! Food was sauced and spiced just right! This was an absolute amazing first experience. The fried plantains were amazing, like a delicious dessert for an amazing plate. Wish we lived here, I’d definitely be coming back!

CariBlueResturant in Modesto is a great place for something different from the regular choices. It is hard to find Caribbean food in this area, and this place really hits all the marks. The flavor and tenderness of the meat is to die for. The owner is super nice, personable, welcoming and accommodating, and will help you decide if you are unfamiliar. The environment is super chill, clean, roomie and spacious. The jerk chicken, shrimp, oxtail, curry goat, ribs, BBQ ribs, fried cornbread, Mac and cheese, rice and plantains are all great. If you haven't tried Jamaican food, this is a perfect chance to taste the islands. It would be nice to hear some Jamaican music in the background, but overall it was good.
