I highly recommend King Cones. Only homemade ice cream in Modesto. And the waffle cones are made in house.

First time coming here, there’s so many delicious flavors, it was tough to choose! I finally settled on almond/pistachio on a sugar cone, talk about delicious! Staff is friendly too!
