“Bean and Leaf Cafe is the place locals are glad to know and have in their neighborhoods. Inside, they have a corner dedicated to local art and has a cozy, familiar feel, warm and inviting as compared to all those well known chains and what they present. On top, the flavors are better here. All their food and drinks show the care you'd want and hope to find. For example, their triple berry scone is light with a nice hint of sweetness, vs the ones you usually get that are dense and have a finish like a kids breakfast cereal. This is one of the few places that the Mrs will actual have a coffee drink. Again, it's lightly flavored and works well together vs the heavy handed flavors of chain stores. I've generally been treated well by chain store servers who put up with my bad jokes, but Bean and Leaf employees are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your order was right. They're a cut above.“
“Seriously the best place I've eaten at, and the bakery is so good! Idk why I've never heard of this place earlier. The avocado toast is the best I've had by far, and I've been trying different places for avocado toasts. Def recommend.“
“The chocolate bubble waffle was scrumptious! As is the dragon fruit lemon slushy. I had gotten them when they first opened at 11a and when my kid got out of school, she was able to try the treats too and liked them. I had seen on yelps photo menu 5 months ago that the prices are a bit more now. The lady was kind enough to hear me out and show me that it has changed as well as answer my questions since it was my first time coming to a happy lemon. I've seen it everywhere and had never had a chance to stop by till now since it was close to my Quest appointment location. They are in a busy area so be careful with cars and pedestrians. Located near a McDonald's and wing stop which are very much known places people go. I do recommend this place as a special treat. It's really cute and clean inside with a few tables and a bathroom available. There is a whole lot more to just lemons here so a must try. I really even like the presentation of the drink and the wrap the bubble waffle was in. Definitely returning to treat my mini someday soon I added to my chocolate bubble waffle at home a chocolate brownie ice cream with 3 kinds of cereal toppings which made it even tastier. Only had the idea because I had it similar somewhere else but it made my day to have it again since I haven't found any other place that does that.“
“In town for a youth baseball tournament and found this spot on yelp. Delish! I had the California melt and it was super tasty and also just a really nice portion and presentation. It wasn't massive and dripping but it was just a perfect size and tremendously filling. Fries were great. Husband and son had club sandwiches and both really liked their lunch too. Would definitely come back when in town for baseball next. Only drag was Pepsi products which I can't stand. Would have killed for a Diet Coke with my yummy sandwich.“
