“Local gem. Expect it to be busy and to sell out fast, especially on weekends. They have a variety of donuts, and a few different price tiers ranging from around $1.50 each for the basic donuts to around $3.50 each for the very fancy ones. You can tell just how much work goes into this shop. Not to mention, it opens at 4 AM, which makes it one of the better places in town to get an early morning cup of coffee.“
“Chocolate glazed is always our go to donuts. I typically come in early in the morning so that I could get their donuts fresh. Long Johns were also superb and I would get them filled with custard cream which is not overly sweet and overpowering on top of the glaze it's covered with. Their donuts are always fresh and pillowy with each and every bite. They are also very friendly and welcoming here and sometimes give out free donut holes with our order especially when I have my little one with me.“
“Best donuts in town I've never tried a maple bar with bacon. My daughter went to get one for me was a little late but they had maple bars and the person working as actually added bacon to the top like a lot of bacon. Customer service was phenomenal and the bacon maple donuts were delicious.“
“We came down right after it opened at 7am. It was mobile order only. I ordered a latte and 6 donuts. The app doesn't allow you to choose your donuts, but when your name is called you can go up and select them. I had a very short wait. The worker was nice and quick. The latte was yummy and the donuts were fresh, but I'm not a fan. I prefer Krispy Kreme or the regular mom and pop donut shops.“
“Wonderful and courteous staff everyone is so kind and personable, it really elevates your visit. They were telling us that it's a family run business and have a second location in Hayward that specializes in savory options like breakfast sandwiches and breads. I plan on stopping during the week to buy some doughnuts for work. We were a Apple Fritter family that has converted into the delightful world of Apple Bear Claws. A filling made with real apples inside of a classic glazed doughnut makes it taste just like an apple pie“
“Sam's Donuts is our local donut spot! That is until we discover another great one worth giving the moniker of being our new local spot! The owners are super nice and service is always quick here for us. Two qualities that always make a business good in my books.Giving them 4 stars because the donuts are good, but sometimes they can be a little stale. It's only happened once to us but we always think twice when we want to get donuts because we don't want to be disappointed.We usually get a variety of classics here. Glaze, Sugar & Chocolate. Their chocolate is my favorite and second would be their apple fritters.Parking here is easy enough, we never have any issues and regardless of their mixed reviews on here, they always seem to have customers in the store when we come in so that's reassuring!“
“There is nothing specifically different about this donut shop compared to others you have visited. The shop is clean and orderly with plenty of seating. They have a decent selection of standard and special types of donuts. They serve coffee and there is a beverage fridge with various drinks to quench your thirst. Small shops in Ripon always have a locals type of feeling, so you will usually see a group of old boys sitting in there talking shop. The lady behind the counter has always been a pleasure to deal with and greets me upon walking in. I have posted a photo of the most updated pricing. I would say their pricing is pretty fair at $13 for a dozen regular style donuts and $16 if you want special/filled donuts.“
“Went this last week to go grab some food from the Lathrop food plaza. While walking around I found this place and decided to get some dessert. I tried their cookies and crème donuts along with the sprinkles. My daughter bought the chocolate and strawberry ones. I personally LOVE how fresh the donuts came out, made to order, so warm and soft. Full of flavor. I really really like the cookies and creme type. Sprinkles was really good too, the chocolate and strawberry sauce were good, not great but I still liked them. Definite recommend for a dessert or just a random snack, this place was great.“
“My son brought a box over before we headed out for the weekend. I haven't had yum yum donuts since I was a kid and omg they were way better than I remembered! I love the vibrancy of all the colors, totally adds to the appeal. And the dough itself was soft and fluffy! Definitely recommend stopping here for some yummy treats.“
“Awesome donuts and service! Appreciate the early opening, too. Needed to make a pitstop at 4:15 AM to pick up 2 dozen for my hungry coworkers. I did not get coffee, but two pots were freshly brewed and smelled great. The store smelled of freshly fried bacon that was part of a couple dozen bacon, egg, and cheese croissants in the case. I will make special trips to leave town to go to this place, that is how good the donuts and customer service were.“
