“Love to support a family run local business. Went in and asked the son for something w lemon and he pulled out an empty donut (w no hole) and filled it w lemon. I really enjoyed how smooth the lemon tasted, not too sour or too sweet and of good quality. I went in another time and this time the mother was working (sorry I should've asked for names) and I asked for the same donut. She said they didn't have any more and so I asked if she could fill in a regular glazed dnut and she said SURE! (PICTURES ATTACHED). All around a great neighborhood spot, loved by the community. Clean and friendly environment, this will ALWAYS be my go to donut spot!Kid-friendliness: Love it when they throw in extra donut holes for my kids ??“
“Love this place! Discovered them when they were still in Salida. Best mochi donuts ever. I love that they try “experimental” flavors and use different textures for toppings too. The drinks are delicious, I thought it was cool that they had some drinks named after BTS. The employees are always super nice and the drinks come out quick! When I’ve gone, it’s never been super busy which is nice. I hope they get more customers though, they deserve it!Kid-friendliness: Kids will love these!“
“I've been stopping at Sunshine Donut occasionally for 2 years now. They have the best selection of delicious donuts and they're so fluffy. A friendly family run business is what you'll find here. They serve coffee, milk, and energy drinks too. My favorites are the blueberry cake, the raised crumb, and the filled maple bar. Service here is always with a smile.“
“The second-best donut in Modesto is hidden at this hole-in-the-wall shop. The cake donut is just a teeny bit crisp on the outside (so, different in style from Mr. T's) and fluffy on the inside. Selection is varied but not huge -- the strength seems to be in cake and old-fashioned donuts. On my visit, there were also apple fritters and three varieties of filled donuts. I did not see crullers or chocolate cake donuts.Don't be put off by the neighborhood (it's just light industrial, nobody's going to bite you) or the building (California rural architecture is like this -- the cheerful mural is a sign that someone is serious about this business).“
“We've been sampling donuts in the are recently and these are just about the best we've had in the Modesto/Ceres/tTurlock area so far. Courteous service, clean store and best of all the donuts were tasty and didn't leave a strange or greasy taste in the mouth. Good job people! Left off one star due to low inventory.“
“I've eaten donuts all over the Western US and these are definitely on the must try list! There's places to sit and enjoy breakfast with the kids after dentist appointments and they have really cute decorations like keys on paintings and Split-Leaf Philodendrons that are beautiful. They have plenty of choices in donuts and even have chocolate cake donut holes that you should try. Excellent prices and friendly staff“
“The store has "fresh big croissants! The croissants are buttery crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their donuts are freshly made airy and delicious as well.I also saw them sell breakfast sandwiches made from fresh croissants. The prices were reasonable and so well worth it, you must try. I do suggest visiting early in the morning so you won't miss out.Enjoy, it is delicious!“
“I honestly love this place. Good selection of donuts and bagels. They are starting to sell boba and their boba selection is good too. When you first step into the shop it feels very bright and cheerful in there. Including the customer service was also good.“
“They have the best doughnuts and the cream filling is excellent! The chicken teriyaki bowls are amazing and the staff is very friendly. Don't let the side of town or outside of the building stop you from trying Scotty's doughnuts, so good!“
“Best donut shop I've been to thus far. Amazing customer service, great donuts. I usually go in for a dozen or two and the owner gives me a couple extra for the road, today we went in to try a croissant breakfast sandwich and oh my, DELICIOUS doesn't begin to describe it! We love this place.“
“Donut are really delicious and affordable. I got 4 donut and a large coffee and the total came out to $8.95❤️❤️❤️and the donut are really delicious and the coffee have different varieties cream which is a plus side for me. The glaze donut that they had would completely melt in my mouth and it was supper soft. And they also had mochi on the weekend and it was something new but I love it because it was chewy and soft and flavorful.“
“Very nice place, the doughnuts looked amazing and taste even better. The pictures had some glare which took some quality out of the image but looks can be deceiving. Very nice couple maybe the owners gave me the ok to snap a few pics for the record, clean place to hang your coat and get on your phone and check emails. Couldn't find any Wi-Fi but that's how they used to do it old school!“
“We've been coming here for donuts for many years and they never disappoint. Today we went to celebrate and they didn't have jam filled left around 4 pm so they filled one for me! My favorite are their cinnamon twists but my son had a fancy strawberry and cream filled one and it looked delicious. The donuts still tasted great at end of the day. Always super friendly.“
