“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.”

From the second we walked through the door, the staff and regulars made us feel completely welcome. Everyone was inviting, and easygoing, which created such a relaxed vibe that we felt right at home almost immediately. A shout-out to Dustin, the bartender, he was awesome and really helped make the visit great.

The beer selection was excellent no wonder our friends keep coming back. Great drinks, great people, and a genuinely good atmosphere all around. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend”

We’ve enjoyed date nights, family birthdays, catered off-site events and plain old in-dining experiences. All were treated with the same level of care, as if we were top clients, regardless of who we were every time. Bennett’s staff pair perfectly with their food and preparation. “WE ARE SO BACK. The previous owners lost the special touch and quality that this place help for so long BUT NOW with new ownership everything is back to normal. Next cheesy bread in Sacramento area and all the pizzas are great. Live music on the weekends and ice cold beer. What more could you ask for. Great service, kind people. “This is a place worth visiting especially if you enjoy karaoke. I went on a Sunday and I was really impressed with the KJ Marty. He was friendly and personable. He made sure everyone felt welcome and had the opportunity to sing in a timely manner. The food was also great! After such a good time Sunday we decided to go back Monday night. They have an amazing special of mushrooms in some kind of butter herb sauce. Pair it with the garlic bread and it was to die for. KJ Marty was there again with karaoke and we had just as much fun as the night before. I'm definitely making this place my go to spot for Sundays and Mondays!”

Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. We were driving past recently and decided to stop in with our son and grandma, both of whom had never been there. We ordered my wife's favorite and a chicken dish for my mother-in-law and 69A for me and 69B for our son. The food was fantastic as always, but the Flaming Beef And Shrimp was spectacular with the presentation and my son thoroughly enjoyed making his own spring rolls. “I'm from San Diego, and one of the hardest parts about moving to norcal was losing taco shop Mexican food.
I've tried dozens of spots in the Sacramento area over the last three years, they're either gross or it's just texmex (also gross.). And finally, after three years I found El Mariachi. I am SO glad I did.

I always get a simple bean and cheese burrito to start at a taco shop. The things I need to know are: are the beans good? is the tortilla good? And I just can't have any other flavors like meat masking the taste of the beans or tortillas. This place has the best beans and tortillas in the area.

Salsas are also a very important thing for me in whether I enjoy a taco shpp or not. Some of the places around here either have salsas with absolutely no heat to any of their red salsas, they're gross, or they're just okay. I absolutely adored the house salsa at El Mariachi's. Especially on the bean and cheese burrito.

El Mariachi's ticks every single one of my boxes for what an actually good taco shop is.

This place is really close to San Diego taco shop, El Mariachi's beans are perfect. Not grainy, seasoned great and taste fresh. Their cheese is great, and tortillas are incredible. They aren't that pale white, thick and undercooked and dry, clearly store bought flour tortilla. Their tortillas are more yellowish-translucent and thin, and not dry which is perfect. They taste fresh, the texture is perfect and they taste delicious in general.

“Best kept secret in the Roseville Rocklin area. It's primarily the dining area for the college students. However, it is open to the public. The price is unbelievably reasonable and all the food is fresh the place is clean as hell and they got more variety than a World's Fair. Chefs will cook you up at Denver ommelette as you put all of your ingredients into a bowl and we'll do the same for your pastas and other dishes. Absolutely nothing negative about those place. 5/2026:
Sadly the nice restaurant closes from May 1 to late August. It is not open to the students or the public. Such a nice and huge facility to be closed so long is sad and seems tough on the students.”

We had to request additional beans, rice, and cheese. I realize they are putting a lot of items in the burrito, but initially very little was added. The seating is not inviting and it seems crowded, even when empty!”
