Starbucks in Rocklin

“I loved it. Grant it. I got there at 6pm on a Thursday evening and they close at 7 so the place was empty. I was the only one in the lobby. That being said, the staff was super friendly, the facilities were super clean, and I got a free grilled cheese since it was close to closing time and they had to throw out the sold food anyway. All in all, a great experience. Oh an my iced venti black Americano was on point! Thank you!“

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize an absolutely wonderful Starbucks team member and the entire team working behind the scenes at this store today.

I placed a mobile order for pickup and unfortunately realized after ordering that I had forgotten to select “iced” for one of my drinks. This was completely my mistake, and I was honestly already feeling incredibly overwhelmed and stressed from work and parenting responsibilities. I was embarrassed that I had made such a simple mistake, especially because I knew the team was already busy.

The team member assisting me at the drive-thru was incredibly kind and understanding. Without making me feel like I had inconvenienced them, they arranged for an entirely new iced drink to be made for me, and the team had it ready in less than five minutes. The efficiency, kindness, and willingness to help genuinely meant more to me than she probably realized.

I even tried to give a cash tip afterward because I was so grateful, but they kindly refused. That interaction really stuck with me. It was such a small thing on the surface, but when you're already having a difficult and stressful day, being met with patience and kindness can make such a difference.

I would really appreciate it if this feedback could be shared directly with the employee who assisted me, as well as the team members inside the store who prepared the replacement drink and helped make the experience so seamless. I unfortunately don't have the employee's name(s), but I hope the store can identify everyone based on the date and approximate time of my visit.

If there is a formal way to have this employee or the team recognized through Starbucks' employee recognition program, I would sincerely appreciate having my compliment included. I would also love to know if there is an appropriate way for customers to “pay it forward” or provide additional recognition to the team beyond submitting this feedback.

Please let them know that their kindness was genuinely appreciated. What could have been an embarrassing interaction instead became a bright spot in a very stressful day, and I am incredibly grateful.

Elijah might technically be a barista, but I’m pretty sure he’s also a part-time mood booster and professional ray of sunshine. From the second you walk in, he greets you like your coffee order truly matters (and somehow remembers it better than you do), all while keeping things moving smoothly even during the chaos of a rush. His positive attitude is borderline contagious—I came in for caffeine and left with a better outlook on life. If customer service were an Olympic sport, Elijah would be on the podium, smiling, handing out lattes, and making everyone feel like a gold medalist.

Lani is an absolute ray of sunshine every time I come in. She greets everyone with such genuine warmth and makes the whole experience feel personal, not rushed. She remembers little details—like regular orders or how someone likes their drink customized—which really makes a difference. Even during busy rushes, she stays calm, friendly, and incredibly efficient, truly unbreakable character and a the textbook definition of composure and leadership. It’s clear she cares about both the quality of her work and the people she serves. Lani truly elevates the whole atmosphere.

Karis consistently goes above and beyond. Not only are the drinks always perfectly made, but she brings such a positive, upbeat energy that’s contagious. She handles long lines like a pro and never lets the pressure show—she’s patient, attentive, and kind to every single customer. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it shows in every interaction. Karis is the kind of person who turns a quick coffee run into the best part of your day.

Alli is simply outstanding. She has a calm, welcoming presence that makes everyone feel comfortable the moment they walk in. Her attention to detail is incredible—drinks are always spot-on, and she double-checks everything to make sure it’s just right. What really stands out is how thoughtful she is; she listens carefully and makes customers feel heard and appreciated. Alli creates such a positive environment, and her professionalism and kindness don’t go unnoticed.“
