“visited this Starbucks on Veterans Day with a group of four, and it ended up being one of the best Starbucks experiences I’ve ever had. Starbucks was offering free coffee for veterans and active-duty military, so we stopped by to grab our caffeine and take advantage of the promotion — but what really stood out wasn’t the coffee, it was the service.
We were greeted by a woman named Tami, and she was incredible. She wasn’t just polite — she genuinely took the time to talk with each of us. She asked how long we’ve been in the military, what we do, whether we enjoy it, and if we plan on making a career out of it. She even shared stories about her son. It wasn’t the typical quick, automated Starbucks exchange — it felt real, warm, and sincere.
Tami even stepped out from behind the counter to continue the conversation, and that level of kindness and connection left a lasting impression on all of us. Her attitude, work ethic, and people skills are outstanding, and I’m truly grateful for the way she treated us. Experiences like that mean a lot, especially on Veterans Day.

From the second you walk in, he greets you like your coffee order truly matters (and somehow remembers it better than you do), all while keeping things moving smoothly even during the chaos of a rush. His positive attitude is borderline contagious—I came in for caffeine and left with a better outlook on life. If customer service were an Olympic sport, Elijah would be on the podium, smiling, handing out lattes, and making everyone feel like a gold medalist.
Lani is an absolute ray of sunshine every time I come in. She greets everyone with such genuine warmth and makes the whole experience feel personal, not rushed. She remembers little details—like regular orders or how someone likes their drink customized—which really makes a difference. Even during busy rushes, she stays calm, friendly, and incredibly efficient, truly unbreakable character and a the textbook definition of composure and leadership. It’s clear she cares about both the quality of her work and the people she serves. Lani truly elevates the whole atmosphere.
Karis consistently goes above and beyond. Not only are the drinks always perfectly made, but she brings such a positive, upbeat energy that’s contagious. She handles long lines like a pro and never lets the pressure show—she’s patient, attentive, and kind to every single customer. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it shows in every interaction. Karis is the kind of person who turns a quick coffee run into the best part of your day.
Alli is simply outstanding. She has a calm, welcoming presence that makes everyone feel comfortable the moment they walk in. Her attention to detail is incredible—drinks are always spot-on, and she double-checks everything to make sure it’s just right. What really stands out is how thoughtful she is; she listens carefully and makes customers feel heard and appreciated. Alli creates such a positive environment, and her professionalism and kindness don’t go unnoticed.“

“Ok to start I live in monterey county, here for a work trip. The date was December 3rd around 9:30 am. Went into starbucks to grab a drink, and was greeted by the ENTIRE staff. When I say that was the best experience I have ever had in a starbucks. Denis, Madison, and Kiannah complimented my outfit and that made my morning, just the care and curiosity about my day Denis expressed really made my experience better. Madison and Kiannah were so bubbly and it really showed the staff here was working as a TEAM. Im a manager in retail, and this is exactly what work environments should be like. They made a thought pop up in my mind about moving there and being friends with these ladies! Great job to this location!!! Delicious coffee was made as well ;)“
