“Absolutely delicious! You have got to try it! I am in my early 40’s and I have tried every dessert from the grocery store to fine dining and these are so amazingly good. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn’t expect this to be nearly as good as it was. Also, they didn’t make me feel like I over indulged at all. The pina colada was incredible, but I plan on trying other flavors too once I get over this one. I don’t know the nutrition on these, but I don’t do ice cream very often anymore and this felt like a much healthier treat, but it still competes in taste with the best dessert. I look forward to bringing my son here. He’s going to love it!“

“Very rarely does the actual drink look better than the menu picture but wow! The creme brulee with coffee jelly added was incredible! It actually had a layer of burnt sugar on the top but the actual drink was not over the top sweet. One of the best shops in the area, we'll be back.“

“Bubble University makes one of the best Brown Sugar Boba Milk Teas I’ve ever had! The sweetness is just right, and the combo of organic milk and their delicious milk foam is simply perfect. The prices are reasonable and totally worth it.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The shop is also filled with fun little toys and decorations that kids absolutely love—it’s a cute and cozy place for all ages.

We’ve never been disappointed here. It’s definitely one of our go-to boba spots!“

Quite unfortunate to see not a lot of quickly stores around anymore, hoping to see this branch stays. Stopped by during lunch during a work day and satisfied my sweet tooth while cooling me down on a hot day. Food was good. Drink was good. Staff was nice. Overall if youre ever in the area and wanted boba or a nice sweet drink, do consider quickly.“

“Capy cafe is such a such a cute and unique capybara themed cafe! Customer service is great and the baristas are efficient and friendly. No matter how busy it may seem drinks come out so quickly and theres plenty of parking which is a plus. Ive gotten the capy matcha with regular sweetness every time ive visited. Its the perfect balance of sweetness and super smooth. What more can you ask for in a cafe?

To start off, their selection of drinks and snacks is great, they have all the classic items you’d see at a normal boba place. Then, the actual taste of the food is consistently amazing. The girl serving me was very pleasant and helpful with my decision making, great customer service. I'm currently sipping on my thai tea, which is perfect amount of strong tea and sweetness, can't wait to try the passion fruit tea later, they actually use real fruit here and not the syrup 😊 needless to say, I am so happy with my experience that after I left the store, I went to my car and wrote this review. The Sakura matcha is divine although get less sugar and go easy on the cold foam for it to be perfect. One less star because they have ube cold foam but will only serve it on coffee and not on matcha (even though I asked nicely each time)“

“The boba pearls here are the best I've ever had spanning multiple states and well over 50 boba shops. I admit, I haven't had boba in Taiwan. The milk tea is sophisticated and nuanced in a way other places can't compete. While I have tried the Roasted oolong, matcha, signature milk tea, tarro, vietnamese coffee, and the pandan, I always just go back to the classic. Oh, and their mochi donuts are the best in the area.“

“Hometown Dumpling in Folsom, CA, serves up some authentic homemade dumpling... they gots boiled, steamed , and pan fried in a variety of fillings.

The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items.

I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings.But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes!

The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.“
