“Capy cafe is such a such a cute and unique capybara themed cafe! Customer service is great and the baristas are efficient and friendly. No matter how busy it may seem drinks come out so quickly and theres plenty of parking which is a plus. Ive gotten the capy matcha with regular sweetness every time ive visited. Its the perfect balance of sweetness and super smooth. What more can you ask for in a cafe?

“The boba pearls here are the best I've ever had spanning multiple states and well over 50 boba shops. I admit, I haven't had boba in Taiwan. The milk tea is sophisticated and nuanced in a way other places can't compete. While I have tried the Roasted oolong, matcha, signature milk tea, tarro, vietnamese coffee, and the pandan, I always just go back to the classic. Oh, and their mochi donuts are the best in the area.“

“Hometown Dumpling in Folsom, CA, serves up some authentic homemade dumpling... they gots boiled, steamed , and pan fried in a variety of fillings.

The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items.

I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings.But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes!

The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.“

“On a super hot summer day a boba from here is the best. I had the large Taro with extra sweetener and Boba!!! The two workers were really sweet and efficient!! The pina colada was incredible, but I plan on trying other flavors too once I get over this one. I don’t know the nutrition on these, but I don’t do ice cream very often anymore and this felt like a much healthier treat, but it still competes in taste with the best dessert. “What a gem. I was passing through the area and was craving some boba. So lucky found this place. The place is cute and inviting, with a clean bathroom. The girl serving me was very pleasant and helpful with my decision making, great customer service. I'm currently sipping on my thai tea, which is perfect amount of strong tea and sweetness, can't wait to try the passion fruit tea later, they actually use real fruit here and not the syrup 😊 needless to say, I am so happy with my experience that after I left the store, I went to my car and wrote this review. “matcha drinks here are sooo good and that’s coming from someone who makes and drinks a loooot of matcha. love that this spot has a lot of creative options- boba tea drinks, coffee, matcha, fruity drinks etc. so there’s something for everyone. there is also no up charge for oat milk and sweetness can be adjusted. loved the matcha einspanner the most! i also really appreciate that the drinks are not overly sweet at the base level because a lot of times matcha drinks can taste like a dessert but the flavors truly shine without being sugar overload!“

The Sakura matcha is divine although get less sugar and go easy on the cold foam for it to be perfect. One less star because they have ube cold foam but will only serve it on coffee and not on matcha (even though I asked nicely each time)“

“Very rarely does the actual drink look better than the menu picture but wow! The creme brulee with coffee jelly added was incredible! It actually had a layer of burnt sugar on the top but the actual drink was not over the top sweet. One of the best shops in the area, we'll be back.“

They have a wide selection of matcha drinks and fruit drinks. The quality of the boba was surprisingly good. They are known for the fruit/matcha combo drink selections.

I unwisely chose a matcha jasmine tea drink, and it was a bit underwhelming. Again, the boba was good- but the matcha wasn't. Maybe I should have chosen the recommended mango matcha...

Also the sweet level is on the low side- I usually go for 25%, but I recommend 50% or 75%. Anyways, not a bad place if you really need the midday boost. Enjoy!“

“Bubble University makes one of the best Brown Sugar Boba Milk Teas I’ve ever had! The sweetness is just right, and the combo of organic milk and their delicious milk foam is simply perfect. The prices are reasonable and totally worth it.
