“Let me just say this is the best bottle shop in town! Great selection of bourbon! On top of that they have a wonderful beer selection in the tap room! “Went to The Brass Tap last night for the first time and for my wife's early birthday celebration.

A few highlights:
1. Service and ambiance are fantastic, especially if you love sports. Service truly was the hero, but more on other good stuff and opportunities to come.

2. Drinks - My wife had a nice Chardonnay and I enjoyed one of the many fantastic brews on draft and in bottle. A small nit pick would be if you arrive during happy hour and last drinks just served outside of happy hour, as it was busy, let's not upcharge as if we arrived after happy hour ended.

3. Food - We ordered a small appetizer of loaded crinkle cut fries. If you don't like sour cream, make sure to ask for it to be left off, but bacon, cheese, and fries together were awesome. The Mrs asked for sliced jalapeños on top and wouldn't you know, they were freshly cut vs jar bought. Kudos and truly made the difference.

We moved into dinner and it didn't miss, in fact, my wife's soft tacos and my flat bread option were both very good. With the soft tacos, the chips and salsa (nice kick) were spot on!!

Not looking for an area to critique, but the restaurant could use some detail on the walls and a revamp of the falling apart and extremely dirty menus, but the outstanding service with a smile won over the visit.

Guess one last thing I would mention, as I overheard one employee try to explain the best they could do was window tint doing very little to step setting sun from blinding so many, would be to but rollable shades on all windows.

“Been here multiple times now. The bartender is so nice, Emmaline (i probably butchered the spelling). But she is absolitelt great.. I usually come for happy hour. After a couple of times she recognized me, remembered part of my preferences, and was just super nice.. The beers are good. The wings are amazing. So is pizza. And pasta. I've never tried something I didn't like here. Will keep coming back.

I do have to say though...Do not go on a Monday. The bartender that worked today (10/21) was so rude. Had an attitude the whole time. Barely said 2 words to me. Basically did the bare minimum to get her job done. Didn't even once check on me or if I like my food/drinks. I had to get her attention to get a second beer before the happy hour was done...she only checked on her regulars...but even with them I could tell she wasn't really chatty...don't really think she wanted to be there.“

Absolutely loved the blended horchata. It was very sweet but sooo good. I had crispy beef tacos. Excellent flavors. I get the warm meat, cool sour cream, and fresh sweet tomatoes in one bite.
My wife had the shredded chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. Chicken was very juicy with great seasoned flavors.“

“The tacos were delicious. Also, enjoyed the macadamia nut porter. They have board games, darts and pool. Music was good. Great atmosphere! We came on a Tuesday night in the summer when they have live music across the street in the town square. I'll be back.

They provide samples and share their thoughts on what you might like. The weekly trivia and bingo nights are an added bonus!“

“The new owners of The Boardwalk have done an outstanding job of revamping this venue. Really like the Hawaiian vibe. The food is amazing. Had the pork sliders and they were so juicy. We got a chance to speak with the owners, super friendly. If you get a chance check them out. They do Sunday brunch and Thursday karaoke.“

“Awesome little place in Folsom! My co-worker and I were looking for something unique to the area(we were in the area for work).
We kept falling short on finding anything near our hotel, until we stumbled across Manderes.
Atmosphere is super chill and seemed like a favorite with a local vibe. They were super friendly and welcoming.
Our appetizer was the bruschetta, and it was top 3 I have ever had.
We both had a pasta dish from the special menu.

“Fantastic brand new dance floor--a great thing because I don't know how anyone can sit still with the incredible musicians they regularly feature! I really enjoy the casual, friendly atmosphere at Powerhouse and they have a good selection on tap with friendly bartenders. Everyone, in fact, from the staff to the guests are friendly and welcoming. Just a fun place in general.“

“For me, the yard house is a quick easy date night option for me and my lovely wife. There is ample seating so generally I have experienced short wait times. That said, it's never a bad idea to put a reservation in. The staff has been friendly from my experience. It's not a good place to go if you want a quiet evening, however It's a great place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and the ability to watch some sporting events. They have a large drink menu if that's your thing. I'm pretty simple in terms of my food tastes so I haven't tried any of the fancier plates. I am a burger and fries kind of guy and I have been pleased with what I have ordered.

Kid-friendliness: I would take my kids here. I have little ones so it's actually a great place because they can be loud and it isn't a problem due to the bustling nature of the restaurant.“
