“Excited to have an Ethiopian restaurant closer to home. I usually have to drive to Sac from Placer County. I ordered take out online today for lunch. The lady who greeted me when I walked in was very welcoming and answered all my questions. The restaurant was clean. The portion size was bigger than I expected. I appreciated that they separated certain parts of my order, like the cottage cheese and each of the lentils. I highly recommend the Doro Wat (chicken), Kay Sire (beets and potatoes) and Misr Wot (Red Lentils). They were delicious! Will be back for sure.“

“Ambience & feel is nice. Food taste is also good. Recommend starters - sweet & sour cauliflower, veg pakoda were the highlight. Main dish- Roji roti, butter garlic Naan, palak paneer, dal tadka, were tasty. You have the option to adjust spicy as per your taste. Aaloo gobhi was ok types.Didn't like Vegetable Biriyani though.“

“I came here for lunch at 2ish pm. It is a clean and and big space with high ceiling and brick walls. I like food, got this salmon avocado sandwich, tea and a cookie for 21$. I like flowers on the tables. This is one open space so was a bit noisy to work here. Like it“

“4 stars for me. Not bad. But I'd probably not order again. The gluten free crust was alright. The toppings were good. But honestly nothing to write home about. I think I'll try some where else instead. 4 stars because the staff was extremely nice! The pizza was decent and not necessarily bad. But also not something I'd probably order again at as I'm sure there is somewhere better around!“
“I'm South Indian and this restaurant is legit authentic and amazing. And you can tell because 95% of the customers are Indian. We live in the Bay Area but always, always come here on our way to and from Tahoe. Love how the entire restaurant is vegetarian. Highlights are the chole bhatura, idli/sambar, dosa, pongal (absolutely delicious), paratha kurma, and the CHAI (so good!). My husband and kids are also a fan of the gulab jamun, although I haven't tried it. We haven't tried the utthapam and adai but hope to do so in the future. You can tell that the food is very fresh, and service is quick and efficient. There is a also a fridge where you can find dosa and idli batter for purchase. The batter is excellent. If I have any constructive feedback, the bathrooms could be cleaner. All in all, this place is excellent and everyone should go!!“
“One of my top favorite places to eat and I've lost count of how many people I've turned onto this place! Their Tiger Burger is my personal favorite, and I love the nori wrap. It is a challenge to find places that are safe for me to eat with my vast food allergies, plus leave me feeling good afterwards, but Zest hits the spot. I absolutely love the art wall, sporting local artist's photography, paintings and other creative work. The place is always clean, and not too crowded to find a seat. Almost forgot- TRY THE CHEESECAKE! I promise you won't regret it!“
