“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

Other staff however rudely looked back and ignored her asking several times what the wait would be so we never got our answer. “This is our go-to Chinese spot in Folsom! We are frequent regulars here, largely thanks to their wonderful, welcoming service. They even recognized us on a recent visit after we hadn't been back for a while! This place holds a special spot in our hearts—we’ve been coming here since before our son was born, and we even celebrated his 3rd birthday here.

“I was in the mood for good Chinese food and I was in Rocklin. I consulted the Google, which told me to venture northeast 2 clicks and Boom ! The food here is excellent. I had to soft Hong Kong style House Chow Mein. It was really tasty and waiter filled my coke twice without me asking. My actual helping was twice as big. “We got an assortment of dishes for a decent-sized group (15) of family, and everyone truly enjoyed the food. Some even said it was the best they ever had! The food was ready very quickly and they accurately predicated the timing so we got to bring it home hot and fresh. The portions were large enough to split amongst multiple people (2-3 each), but they don't come with rice so be sure to order some with your dish.“

The portions are plentiful and prices very reasonable. It seems like so many Chinese food places are getting too expensive for my budget so Wei Wei is now my go-to for Chinese food. I have only ordered takeout but I am sure it's also wonderful for dining in.
