“Had Sunday Lunch here for my X's 48th bd w/ our teens and had a great time.Very generous portions & the food was enjoyable- 100% recommend the Hot&Sour soup starter ? it's so full of flavor unlike most others ?We tried a variety of dishes & was pleased with nearly all.of it; my daughter ordered the 'shrimp with Lobster' not realizing it didn't have actual lobster meat in it & was disappointed ? & the fried rice is just rice, carrots & peas but hey, it's fun trying new things isn't it!“
“My wife and I came here Christmas Eve. The food is priced very reasonably and we loved everything we ordered. We ordered dumplings, general tsao’s chicken and Singapore noodles. All of our dishes were absolutely delicious and we were sad we were only staying in Auburn for a short while because we really want to go back. This place is amazing and rivals Chinese food in the Bay Area.“
“I go to Happy Wok every Monday for lunch with a friend. This "Lunch meeting" was initially intended to always go to a different restaurant in Auburn every week. Once we ate at Happy Wok for the first time, we started going there every couple of weeks, and then it eventually became the only place we go to every Monday. The food is delicious, the staff is VERY friendly and attentive (they always greet us and ask us how we are doing, and we don't even get menus anymore because they know what we want!), and the atmosphere is a nice, relaxing environment. The sesame chicken is always perfectly breaded, the hot and sour soup is INCREDIBLE, and you'll leave full without breaking the wallet. Best Chinese restaurant in Placer County!“
“Had the place all to ourselves on New Year’s Day. We were a group of 21. Service was amazing. The food came out fast and everything was delicious. 12 of our group was kids and the staff were very accommodating and patient with the kids. They brought out chocolates and cookies for the kids at the end. We had a great time. I loved the chow mein, very flavorful. Beef with broccoli and general chicken were my favorites.“
“I travel from Grass Valley to Auburn just for Chang Bros. Chinese food. Fried rice and hot and sour soup have always been just perfect for my taste. Friendly & timely service.Parking: Shopping center/strip mall very open with ample parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“Best Mongolian place I've been too! The ingredients are SO fresh and the price is such a good deal for all the food you can get! Amazing and quick service. Support local businesses ya'll! This is a family owned restaurant and been here for 30 years!! Always busy here in the evenings especially on weekends. Ice cream machine is always working too.“
