“Our first visit to Red Lantern Solaire North was a pleasant surprise. Though the branch is smaller, the service remained consistent and warm—just as we’ve always known it. The food was exceptional as ever, with the beef served in a box so tender it almost melted in the mouth. The hot prawn salad and mango roll were standouts, while the kataifi—a dessert that Red Lantern has uniquely served for nearly a decade—remains unmatched. It was a wonderful family meal, reaffirming why Red Lantern will always be our go-to place for celebrations and special moments. PS. They also have Chinese Tea presentation and the 1000 mask dance.“

“This restaurant is in the heart of Lincoln and has been around for several decades. The staff are nice and I’ve never been dissatisfied with a meal from here. Personal recommendation is the Shrimp with Spicy Sauce and Wonton Soup but you honestly can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Get the Po Po Platter if you want to sample a bunch of foods.“

“Passed by here earlier this afternoon. I went here with My Father. This is My first time eating at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. I have never eaten at a casino before. The service was good. I ordered a Plate with fried rice, regular orange chicken, and grilled teriyaki chicken. My Father ordered a Plate with fried rice as well, spicy orange chicken, and beef broccoli. I also ordered two large drinks, one cherry coke and a regular coke. I was amazed to see a food court at a casino.“

“If you are looking for a quick meal that has a little bit of everything you have found the place. My husband gets the orange chicken and the chow mein which are some of the favorites there. I absolutely love the broccoli beef and their cream cheese Rangoon’s are amazing ?.“

“The food is great. Fresh and tasty. The service is attentive, friendly, and helpful with navigating the menu. The restaurant is very clean with an open view of the kitchen where the staff preps the food. In my experience with dim sum, I do prefer to have both- great food and decent prices. Unfortunately 5 pieces of braised chicken feet for $10.25 is a bit much. I'm assuming it's one of their signature dishes since it's located at the first page of their good looking menu. Some dim sum places I have been to have the braised chicken feet $2-$3 less than Yang Kee. The menu has a good design, looks like a yearly datebook with pictures of the dishes and their price points. We ordered 5 dishes total for $83. Everything was good, the food is tasty and fresh. The restaurant is very clean and staff is friendly and attentive. Always busy, lots of customers which means good food. Just a little pricey. The restaurant has a tablet at the front entrance for you to enter your party's info( Name, how many people in your group, etc.). We got lucky on our first visit, the restaurant was busy but we immediately got a table. My family and I do recommend Yang Kee, we will definitely go back.“

“The food here is great and the portion sizes are really big. You can easily feed 2 people on 1 meal, no problem. The service was quick and the food tasted great.
Food: We got the general chicken noodle plate and the Kung Pao chicken.

Came again and the portion sizes were still great. We got chow Mein with sesame chicken and Kung Pao.“

“Our homestead is within walking distance, I’ve tried most of the different options and not been disappointed. Huge portions Wonton soup is great and the shrimp chicken and pork dishes are excellent chow mein and bbq pork fried rice is very good.“

“I was in the mood for good Chinese food and I was in Rocklin. I consulted the Google, which told me to venture northeast 2 clicks and Boom ! The food here is excellent. I had to soft Hong Kong style House Chow Mein. It was really tasty and waiter filled my coke twice without me asking. My actual helping was twice as big. I ate over half of it before taking this picture ! If I lived here I would be a regular customer.

“My first time at Joy House. I really liked the filling and thin crispy wrapping of the spring rolls, but thought that they were too oily and preferred if they could have skipped the red coloring in the sweet and sour sauce. Again, the filling was fantastic and very authentic. The beef in the beef chow fun was really tasty and tender, but the noodles were also too oily for my taste. The service was great and the cook was very accomodating. 5+ stars for service. Really great and hard working folks. I will give them another try sometime soon again.“

“I’m always looking for new Chinese restaurants and this was recommended on Nextdoor Neighbor. We tried it and are fans. The lunch special is such a good deal with plenty of food for not much money. “Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

“Hunan Color Wok in Rocklin is hands-down one of our favorite go-to spots for Chinese food. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sauces are rich without being heavy, and the portions are generous.

The restaurant is owned by our owners cousion, so I always had a thought that due to the owners influence we get some extra ordinary food for catering. But then I went in with my Family on one of Friday night to check the rstaurant and it was much more better when we ordered the food for Dine in. Those Sizzling Platters were just Amazing. “Juan! What great service from this gentlemen tonight. They were so busy and a customer literally got in line unprepared to order and taking orders on the phone while the line got longer and others were losing it. Juan was gracious and calm. Amazing! I Would've asked the customer to step out of line until ready. This young man is to be commended as are the other wait staff and Chefs at this location. “Panda Express off Blue Oaks is my go to when I need something fast in Roseville. I grabbed the kung pao chicken and it tasted exactly how it should. This Panda Express in Roseville is consistent, quick, and easy to get in and out of. They rarely miss anything in an order, and when they do, they fix it without any hassle. Reliable spot in the same lot as Nugget.“

“Ok first of all great name! This place surprised me in so many ways. I've rated many many places but this one is tops by far!! The food was AMAZING. We...my wife and I...had the chicken pho, spring rolls, and salt and pepper fried chicken. The pho was probably the best pho you could get in northern California. Very fresh and a perfect broth. The spring rolls very very well made! The salt and pepper fried chicken with veggies was the best I've ever had! By far the best Chinese/ Vietnamese food I've had in a very long time. The dinning area was a very clean and quiet. The clutter at the front counter was a little to much and to see medication bottles and bandaid boxes and other clutter all over their front counter was a little off putting. But I would definitely not pass this place up if I was in the area!! I give this place a 5 out of 5! Thank you so much.“

“This Panda location is pure, authentic, 100% Grade-A awesome :) I actually drive quite a bit out of my way to come to this specific restaurant location because of the truly wonderful people who staff and run this restaurant. I have had the distinct pleasure of interacting most often on my visits with three of the highly capable counter servers on many occasions; these being Jeuwena, Lilly and Anthony.. All three of them are you truly gems of humanity in their own unique ways, but the common denominator amongst them is the gifted manner in which they present a friendly, welcoming and extremely positive approach to customer interaction. They are all of them legitimately kind, intelligent, full of good humor and highly capable in the customer service arena.... it is such a smile-inducing experience to know such capable and worthy young people are the customer-facing associates staffing this location. The nighttime manager at this location is an extremely kind person and a talented supervisor, though I have yet to learn her name to extend her due credit in this review, though she absolutely deserves the recognition. The cooks and kitchen staff are clearly also highly skilled, hard-working and resultingly the dishes somehow all taste better from this particular Panda than from any of the others which I've patroned in the area :). It is said that every job is worth doing if you take pride in what you do, and if you do it well. Every one of the employees and supervisors here exemplify that in every manner, and it is duly impressive to see such a well-run, well-managed restaurant employing the absolute gold standard of people who clearly care very much about quality and treating their customers well. I applaud them both from a professional perspective as well as a personal one. Lest I forget to mention, even the internal counter and eating areas are remarkably clean and well-appointed. I very much hope Panda Express as a corporation takes note of this location and acknowledges the high level of effort and unfailing accomplishment it engenders; it is well deserved. “Golden Koi Buffet is one of the restaurants I have visited often, especially during my childhood. The food is alright, sometimes they easily run out of food, but nonetheless, the food is decent for a Chinese buffet. The customer service and atmosphere is often very peaceful and you can often be able to eat quietly. A while ago, I went there with my family and friends the day after my 18th birthday and high school graduation. Overall, a very good Chinese buffet to visit at Placer County. 💛“

“Wow, what a treat! While checking out the food court on a slow day the lady from Little Tokyo pulled me in for some samples before pointing out the combo's. The Pineapple chicken is absolutely delicious! The cheapest combo comes with so much. Already ate the sesame mochi before the photo. Going to come back for a pork bun and skewer next time.“
