They were all amazing, a friend of ours suggested adding sausage to the mushroom pizza, will def try that next time! We went on a Friday night, there was a line out the door. The hostess took our name and said it would be about 25 minute wait, but it was only 15. Mike, our server, was very friendly and took great care of us, making sure that our 2 year grandson that was with us was well taken care of. Glasses never went empty before another beer was offered, and the food came out quickly. Highly recommended!”

Are you dense, you've been here right you expect a driver to wait the 15 minutes in line, 5 minutes at the grill not to mention the drive time gas and messy hands and you'd tip what like 3 dollars like every other cheapskate in this town. 3 dollar tips comes out to about 12 dollars an hour btw so if you tipped the same amount on here you'd make about 7 dollars in an hour. It just wouldn't work unless you wanted to spend 40$”

I loved it because it's in the back separate from public with plenty of tables and chairs, a HUGE TV, and even a private arcade area! The staff was absolutely incredible and attentive! “We moved to Colfax in December of 2023 and I have been wanting to try this place. Today is the 2nd time I ordered food via DoorDash. The first time I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and this time I ordered the Chicken Makhani. Both times I ordered the plain naan and the garlic naan. I have not had a lot of Indian food in the past, but this was 10/10 delicious!!!! So much better than I expected. Even the plain rice was so good! It arrived hot, and so fresh. I will be a regular customer now.”

“My Tuesday men's group, mostly seniors, played The Ridge yesterday and had a good round. It would have been a great round; however, it's still soggy from the December rains, like all local courses. The cart path only conditions slowed play to about a 5 hour round which is understandable. The course was in very good shape for the damp conditions. The green's were very fast which made things interesting, but fun. a few of our uphill putts went past the hole, stopped, then roll back toward or past the hole.”

“We hosted our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Auburn Alehouse, and it was absolutely phenomenal. We feel so blessed that this special evening took place there. Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef’s kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer. If you are in Auburn, driving from Reno to the Bay Area, or heading up the mountain, stop here. They are also a fantastic choice for private events and can work with your budget. They even host private events at their Annex across the street. We are so grateful we chose Auburn Alehouse for such an important family celebration. Highly recommend! “Girl at the desk was really sweet, it was a Sunday in the evening around a quarter till 6. Got a Brown Sugar Boba Milk that she was suggested. It was a really sweet drink though I'd not wanted something super sweet, but I left happy and I would probably come again just for the atmosphere and company. I've been before on other occasions where I got some type of drink and other time where I got a cream puff(highly recommended).”

“I just tried this place for the first time, and I was happy I did. Friendly staff, family- owned, and a bacon avocado burger thats one of the best I've ever had. Great atmosphere, & reasonable prices especially considering the price of gas (& everything else) right now. Definitely will be going back again soon.”

From the second you step into Ai Bao you feel right at home like walking into a friend’s home from the lovely plants to the calming decor. The menu is easy to read and concise. Our server was great and happily answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to adjust the sweetness of our drinks which were made to perfection. The wide array of sauces was a nice touch. The spicy wonton noodle soup was great. The dumplings and bbq pork bao were delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced for the amount of food you are served. Very pleased to stumble upon this gem in Auburn. Can’t wait to tell my friends and return to try more items off the menu.”
