“Passing through Auburn, I tried Burger & Cream. They earn their 5 stars! This is a walk up Burger place, with a small dine-in area and outdoor patio dining area. The atmosphere....All Smiles! Families and friends were gathered at tables enjoying great burgers and ice cream treats!I tried a Western Burger - Patty, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce, onion rings. It was really good!!! Burgers are cooked medium well, just a bit of pink! I also had a strawberry banana shake! So good!!! And, they use Boba straws for good reason! They gave my little dog a pup cup that made his day!!!!The restaurant is spotlessly clean, inside and out! Orders were filled right away because they employ plenty of people. And, I noticed the employees getting along and the management treating Everyone nice!I'll definitely be back!!!”

“Such a nice chill spot to stop and have coffee and a delicious bagel. The bagles here are more like sandwiches than bagels which is fine because again they're amazingly soft and cooked to perfection. Regardless of which bagel you go for you're guaranteed to be happy with the result and quite likely go back for seconds and then sit and chill for a while because it really is a very nice spot to sit and relax on a cool autumn morning.”

“This is the first time we have been here. Food is fresh and flavorful. Had the pork and shrimp spring rolls, tri-tip salad and beef pho. Absolutely delicious. Also, I had the best Vietnamese coffee here. Great service and friendly staff.”

A mini gift shop is set up for you to browse as you wait for your order, full of hand painted coffee cups (some specially fit for left or right handed), hats, books, wall decor, bookmarks, Bible tabs etc. Christian music is playing, and all the staff are very friendly. Plenty of space to eat in too. I saw some people having a Bible study/meet as well as other who were enjoying the nice atmosphere, or enjoying an afternoon Devotional. I Got a smoothie, hat, and nice leather bookmarks. All were very fairly priced. The bookmarks were only 5 a piece! Very nice quality!”

“Before heading out of town for the weekend to go camping, my husband and I stopped at Moonraker brewing with our dogs. It was mostly a stop to grab a late lunch from their food truck, but also to stock up on some beer for our camping trip. I have had Moonraker beers before, but never visited the actual brewery. The space is quite large and offers a ton of seating. They are dog friendly and they have rotating food trucks. I loved that they offered a nice variety of beers and even some seltzer's. You can purchase select beers in canned form, but they also sell growlers ($5 deposit if you don't have your own growler). The next time I find myself in the Auburn area, I will definitely be coming back to Moonraker brewing.”

“Great sandwiches that are tasty and always fresh. Their pastrami is off-the-hook good and we often have a hard time deciding which one to get. The bahn-mi is my go to favorite most of the time. Excellent service with friendly staff and they remember your name.This is a local's favorite and am glad we have them!”

“We've been searching for our favorite Mexican restaurant in Auburn and Agave is our current working candidate.It's cozy, colorful, and has an extensive menu with some unexpected choices. Lengua! Cabeza!Sam's chorizo passed the spiciness test, my posole (red) was meaty, silky, and had a full side of crispy vegetables and lime slices to add in. Altogether delicious and very generously portioned.Mom's chicken flautas were flavorful, and both crispy and tender at the same time. Nice!Cannot neglect to mention the flan! Super dense and just sweet enough, with a boost of chocolate to elevate it. We shared it.The staff could be family members; our server was young, personable, and thoroughly professional.It was chilly and rainy when we were there so we'll have to return to try out the patio, but it looks comfortable. I think I'll try the mole...Looks like they could host your party on site or provide catering if that's your jam.”

“Excited to find a bakery. Visually everything looked good. Cookies seemed high. Bought their day old bagels and other products. They said they boiled the bagels. However they were tough not chewy as I hoped. Tried the Cinnamon Crisp that is good. Have yet to try other products purchased.”

“What a quaint and friendly bakery! We were hosting a Harry Potter themed birthday party and I wanted a cake to replicate the one from the first movie. I spoke with Alice at the bakery and they were happy to make it happen! We ordered the vanilla bean latte cake in the custom design and it exceeded our expectations! They followed the inspo picture to a T! The birthday girl loved it too. Thank you, Baker and the Cakemaker!”

“Never slow at Annie's in the half dozen times I've visited. But always able to get seated fairly quick. I've tried many of their breakfast and lunch items, all of them hit the spot. Their specials have been delicious.”

“This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Halfway between where I live now and where I grew up, so a lot of memories here. The food is very good, and a special we always order beyond fairly standard egg combos are the lemon yogurt pancakes. Definitely worth the trip! Rolled up like crepes, doused with syrup, moist enough to eat as-is. I also recommend the corned beef hash, my guage of quality for all breakfast joints. If the pancakes deserve an A±, the hash gets a B+. Closed Monday and Tuesday, open only for breakfast and lunch. Do not go on weekends unless ready to wait.”

Well, times and tastes have changed, and one of my pet peeves is when a restaurant doesn't know a cappuccino from a latte. The Pour Choice made the perfect cap. I know - it's mostly push-button nowadays, but still. It was, in fact, a good predictor - everything was perfect. Only had food, so I guess we'll have to come back.”

“The meat here is AWESOME!!! Real oak fire slow cooked meat. For such quality food this is a good value. My only regret is not going here more often. I love the lunch specials. We have used the catering platters and they are great for groups. You won’t be disappointed for supporting this small business.”

“My fourth visit at Restaurant Josephine, which is a destination restaurant at more than an hour for a meal. But worth it. Great drinks, an interesting and eclectic menu with lots of tempting choices. Leans French but also offers Californian and Czech-style dishes. I loved the pumpkin dip, the mussels, and the rest of my husband’s pork chop. If I had to skip something, it would be the desserts. Good but nothing I couldn’t find elsewhere in the Bay Area.”

The atmosphere is a sports bar type of setting, but very nice to be able to talk and visit. I was with long term friends who I hadn't seen for years and it was a good time to catch up on all we've been up to. I really enjoyed myself and hope to return again soon.”

“Tap & Vine never disappoints. The food and service are excellent. Beautiful ambiance in the dining rooms and out on the patios. The chef regularly creates new and delicious menu items while keeping the Tap & Vine favorites (like the amazing Big Kid Grilled Cheese). Cocktails are wonderful and they have a really nice selection of wines. A short drive from Winchester. Can’t go wrong on Wednesdays for ½ price bottles of wine.”

“We were seated promptly by a very pleasant woman. She accommodated a request for something special on our food and it was done properly. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. The prices were very reasonable.One additional thing was the tons and tons of local art on the wall for you to enjoy viewing while eating your meal. “Sierra Grill & Smokehouse was the cherry that topped our ice cream sundae, Labor Day weekend at Morningstar Lake Campground.My husband & I were given a Sierra Grill $50 gift card a couple of years ago & now was the perfect time to use it. We went online & found an extensive variety of appetizers, main dishes & more side dishes than I've ever seen offered at any restaurant. We ordered ahead, by phone, and picked up our order to go.We were impressed with the sampler platter's double rack of bbq ribs & 1 lb. of pulled pork. We had macaroni salad & sauteed veggies as the sides. That platter was enough for two, but we also ordered the Sierra Steak dinner to use the entire gift card. We chose corn bread and a side salad from a list of at least 20 appealing choices.This place was packed & now I know why. They serve fantastic food for a fair price and the service is great. We came home with enough food to eat for the next 3 days.The Sierra Grill & Smokehouse, located in Auburn, Ca.,earned this5 star review.”

“Food just like all the other Mel’s I’ve been to. Adequate portions, hot off the grill, and pretty good. Plus 1⭐️for being DOG FRIENDLY. Surrounding Mel’s today were a sea of vintage cars and trucks attending the 2023 American Graffiti Car Show. Mel’s is a sponsor of this well attended annual event. Car hops were making the rounds taking food and drink orders from attendees. Nice touch!”

“I've been eating at sweet peas for years. Their breakfast is what brings me back time after time. It's a restaurant you can bring your employee's before work to show you appreciate them. Their service at every step from walking in, to paying your check is friendly and quick without feeling rushed. You can also bring your family for a very enjoyable meal where you can take your time and have a good meal and conversation without being hurried. The food is five stars never a complaint. Highly recommend.”

Had our dog and they do allow furry friends.They have a large indoor and outdoor area with a window on the side to order beers if you are in the beer garden.They offer a wide variety of beers. “Was there 7/9/2023 in the evening. As far as Taco Bells go, I was quite satisfied. The food prepared was pretty close to what is advertised, as opposed to the bare minimum standards I usually experience at this chain. It's not gourmet fare, but it was done right for what is is. I don't think it was very busy, but the food was delivered quickly. There was also a reasonably clean public restroom.”

Taco Bell tastes fake in comparison. The drive through line can be long so it can be faster to park, go inside, and get your food to go.”

Why would you take something off of the menu that was so popular and delicious, then bring it back months later in a horrible new concoction? It doesn't make any sense at all. “Great experience getting custom MOD salads. The medium salad is a complete entree for an adult. I left totally stuffed and feeling super healthy. I recommend spinach + arugula as the salad base. They have for-here bowls too if you don’t want to trash any one-time use plastic. All the women who worked on our order were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this option for a gluten-free or vegan lunch.”

We had to wait about 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us, and she knew very little about different drinks and didn't have a lot of ingredients. I settled on a simple drink, which was pretty good but not for the price (and it was in a plastic cup). There were also a lot of very belligerent drunk people and nothing was being done about it. I'd stick with the California Club (normally we go there for cheap drinks but they had a cover charge the night we went).Vegetarian options: It's a barParking: Plenty of parking even on busy nights. “This is not the best coffee, but it's not bad for 99% of people. They sort of do what Starbucks does, but with slightly better roasting practices. If you're getting a drip, pour over, or a shot, go somewhere else ( not Starbucks but a smaller independent places). But if you need a quick latte or don't like the taste of coffee in general, Peet's is a good choice.”

The day I went while other person is grocery shopping, Elizabeth very helpful. Did not know had enough, one hundred eighty one stars, for free reward. Every one hundred fifty earns free drink. In that five months I here in child friendly Auburn, I seemed have this Free Reward four times. Per suggestion of Elizabeth, yes I order biggest Adult Size the kiwi drink. I did write the Letter Of Compliment.”

Looks like the manager read them and corrected the staff. 4/12/23 Michelle was very nice and the other two people in the shop looked like they were doing a great job prepping pizzas. Cowboy family size on thin crust. Appropriate enough toppings, in the oven even as I type. Papa murphys are always a great deal for easy to bake delicious pizzas! Of course, I always add stuff but that's just me!”

“This is the best Indian restaurant in Auburn, and it’s in the top 3 Indian restaurants I’ve ever visited. They will make your dish as mild or spicy as you like, and they make my husband his favorite, Rogan Josh, even though it’s not on the menu. Large portions too (each dish was 2x what I can eat in a meal).”
