“We moved to Colfax in December of 2023 and I have been wanting to try this place. Today is the 2nd time I ordered food via DoorDash. The first time I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and this time I ordered the Chicken Makhani. Both times I ordered the plain naan and the garlic naan. I have not had a lot of Indian food in the past, but this was 10/10 delicious!!!! So much better than I expected. Even the plain rice was so good! It arrived hot, and so fresh. I will be a regular customer now.“

“First time, we had the Burrata app, then the Honey Badger and Foggy Mushroom pizzas. They were all amazing, a friend of ours suggested adding sausage to the mushroom pizza, will def try that next time! We went on a Friday night, there was a line out the door. The hostess took our name and said it would be about 25 minute wait, but it was only 15. Mike, our server, was very friendly and took great care of us, making sure that our 2 year grandson that was with us was well taken care of. Glasses never went empty before another beer was offered, and the food came out quickly. Highly recommended!“

Are you dense, you've been here right you expect a driver to wait the 15 minutes in line, 5 minutes at the grill not to mention the drive time gas and messy hands and you'd tip what like 3 dollars like every other cheapskate in this town. 3 dollar tips comes out to about 12 dollars an hour btw so if you tipped the same amount on here you'd make about 7 dollars in an hour. It just wouldn't work unless you wanted to spend 40$“

“We hosted our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Auburn Alehouse, and it was absolutely phenomenal. We feel so blessed that this special evening took place there. Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef’s kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer. If you are in Auburn, driving from Reno to the Bay Area, or heading up the mountain, stop here. They are also a fantastic choice for private events and can work with your budget. They even host private events at their Annex across the street. We are so grateful we chose Auburn Alehouse for such an important family celebration. Highly recommend! “I hosted my Daughter's 11th birthday party here and it was a hit! the party room is the best in town! I loved it because it's in the back separate from public with plenty of tables and chairs, a HUGE TV, and even a private arcade area! The staff was absolutely incredible and attentive! It's a grab and go place, so I never expected too much as far as atmosphere and customer service goes. But there's been a few upgrades inside the place and it's looking better than ever. “First impression, it was quaint and quiet. The counter girl, Tatyana, (hope I spelled that correctly) the first face of the restaurant, was such a delight! She has impeccable customer service and was considerate in knowing her pos system and gave a mindful charge for my kids’ plain burger request. The male cook was trying to argue she needed to charge more, I don’t find it professional for customers to hear that as he could’ve said something off to the side, or better yet not at all since my kids didn’t even eat much of the burger… yet the restaurant still got paid for 3 specials (2 Swiss mushroom burgers and 1 California burger), two large fries and 4 drinks.

I digress - all in all Tatyana is great, the food was delicious even though a bit greasy, and the atmosphere there was nice along with the cuteness of the town.

I would definitely stop here for a bite again, but only as long as she remains front of the house. Great eats and great service.“

Not hard to figure out but slightly annoying. Worth it. Got all this plus a 2 l for 20 bucks and it was great! Only thing I would change next time is I might go for a stuffed crust option. Love the stuffed crust at Little Caesar.“
