Sushi chef Heogh is doing BEST with what he loves -- to make beautiful sushi! I've lived on 3 dontinents and Take Maru Sushi in Auburn, California, is well worth the 1/3-hr drive from Nevada City CA. If Heogh's wife was a bit more friendly (aka sour-puss) Take Maru might have MORE customers ... yet seems they have enough! I've eaten a lot of Sushi in my life. This place is the absolute best. I've eaten the King Lobster roll four times. I'm having a hard time choosing anything else. I recommend this place to any and everyone. Amazing

They only offer ToGos. Sashimi dinner combo, scallop carpaccio, soft shell crab, 4 rolls were perfectly placed with care and beautifully presented in each container. All were what we had hoped for and more. I can see why folks drive out of their way to pick up their delicious orders!
