The curb appeal of The Monkey Cat & reviews prompted us to give it a try & both of us were underwhelmed. Very slow (single server)on a Saturday at about 2 pm(day before holiday). Ordered the chicken parm sandwich on special & mac and cheese. The chicken parm on the dinner menu has received good reports, kinda similar execution on the sando on toasted sour dough except for the uneven brie cheese distribution, don't remember Ham?,ok flavor..meh. Perfect date night at The Monkey Cat tonight. Very friendly yet professional- Cheyenne (& busser) made sure we were taken care of. Perfectly timed food....We Grazed on Seared Ahi which was stellar, Calamari that was excellent and the Vegie Stir fry with Coconut rice was delicious. Just had my boys rehearsal dinner at this wonderful location. The banquet room was perfect for the 23 people that were at the dinner. Jennifer, the owner, was very easy to deal with and was very attentive to my family and guest. Erica, the server was super and made the evening flow perfectly.
