The orange chicken, made the "old fashion way" without flour, was also a highlight, leaving diners wishing they lived closer to make it their Chinese favorite.
This larger, family-owned establishment serves up large portions of mildly spicy foods. The Chicken Chow Fun was described as one of the best ever had, with authentic, home-made quality. While the Kung Pao Chicken's meat was fresh and good cuts, the flavor development with spices was noted as less challenging than expected for those familiar with Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant's strong points include authentic American-Chinese food, large portions, and fresh ingredients without MSG or preservatives.
Takeout orders were also met with satisfaction, with individual flavors shining through in each dish. The food was not greasy and super affordable, meeting all desired expectations. The ordering app for online pickup is easy and convenient. Although the food itself is fantastic and always delicious, there have been issues with packaging, leading to spilled sauces during transport. Securing containers with additional plastic bags or offering transport boxes could improve the pickup experience. Entrees like beef chow mein, beef w/snow peas, and broccoli w/garlic sauce were delicious, served fast and fresh, with plenty of leftovers that reheated well.
