The owners and staff were very nice. It was my first time here and needless to say, "I'LL BE BACK"! And the banana pudding was banging!”

“We live right around the corner and this was our first time stopping in. The service is excellent and the food was really good. The gentleman helping us at the register liked my son's Mario sweater and gave him $1 for the toy machines. I thought that was really kind. We'll definitely be back!”

“Every time I visit the Sacramento area, I make sure to get out to North Highlands for some awesome Cuban food at Sol Cubano. It is a small, family owned business with great service and amazing food. My favorite dish is the oxtail stew. It is so deliciously tender and flavorful. A few of the others I also really enjoy are the marinated pork, the Cuban rice, and the empanadas.”

“This is my second time eating here. The first time, I had the lunch buffet. It was very good. Unfortunately, they don't have the buffet anymore, so we ordered off the menu. Butter chicken (which they call Chicken Maharaja), mango chicken, baingan barta, garlic naan, and rice. Everything was delicious! (Yes -- even the rice was special.) And good service.”

“A charming little market and eatery. Good British food and lovely atmosphere, very homey feel. I ordered the fish and chips meal with the baked beans as a side, which also came with some buttered bread. Filled me up and was very satisfying! Highly recommend for lunch if you are in the North Highlands area.”

“Good Food, always fresh and made to order- this is my go to spot for Chinese food when I am at work since it is close by! My favorite are lunch specials Mongolian Beef with fried rice, lemon shrimp with fried rice, chicken wing with chow mein, beef broccoli with fried rice and their hot & sour soup!”

“I tried this place for the first time recently, and on the recommendation of a friend. The tacos are awesome and the salsa bar was very good. When I was there the music was loud inside, but I don't think that's normal, I think they were just enjoying it. We sat outside, which was pleasant and quieter.”

“In all fairness, I am highly biased about this place. My dad used to take my little brother & me here, especially after a base open house. Then when I was a cadet there, we used to sometimes walk off base and go there for lunch. McClellan didn’t have and exchange mall, back then. The chili cheese dogs probably aren’t as good as they were then, but it makes me happy to go there, once in a while.”
