“I recently visited Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Elkhorn Blvd, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The pizza was exactly what you want—crispy crust, plenty of toppings, and that classic, flavorful sauce that makes you keep coming back for another slice.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The new owner is incredibly sweet and goes out of their way to make customers feel welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a positive experience, and it makes a big difference.

“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“Went on a date night without the kids for the first time in a long time. On a Friday night, Service was quick, found a table on the inside, even though the place was packed. Everyone was really friendly, atmosphere was lively . Music was great. We shared a salad, which was absolutely delicious. Felt like somebody had just picked fresh greens from their backyard, it was so crisp and perfectly balanced. We were recommended to try the pizza of the day, which was peaches, Gorgonzola, pancetta, and arugula. I was very skeptical since I don’t like Hawaiian pizza… It tasted nothing like it. It was savory, mildly sweet, it was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Brought a tear to my eye, so delicious! Very obvious that the chef knows what he’s doing.“

“I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. When my pizza arrived it was still piping hot and fresh. But the true test of the food, and the reason I am writing this review- is because my picky eating 5 year old asked me to. He wanted to give 11 stars for the best pizza he ever had. He was very pleased with the sauce and the cheese, and said he is so happy they didn’t put random green things on it. (I think he means oregano)

My pizza was also delicious, and as close to a tavern style pizza (Chicago native) I have gotten in Sacramento. (Thin crispy, extra well done, square cut)

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. “Love this place! I'm so glad it's closeby! The pizza is good but the other stuff is even better! The cheesy breadsticks, wings, calzones and pasta! I'm not a fan of the chicken tenders but they made have changed them because I think I got them during the pandemic when supplies were sometimes hard to get. Staff here is always awesome!!! And prices have not gone up crazy like the other pizza parlors nearby. I love their pizza sauce - it's just a little bit sweet! Also I love the pesto drizzle!“

“The food was okay overall, but I really loved the crispy calamari appetizer! The portion was generous for the price and definitely worth ordering.
The overall experience was pleasant, but the service could have been better. At the beginning, a female server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. However, after her shift ended, our server was a male employee who rarely checked on our table. We waited quite a while for assistance, and I even had to ask another server for help when I wanted to request a birthday ice cream.

“I found Crossroads Pizza & Pub completely by accident after randomly buying a Groupon, and it turned out to be one of my best impulse purchases in a long time.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I arrived a little early for the live music, but it looked like a great band was setting up, and the atmosphere already had a fun, laid-back vibe.

We ordered a 2 liter coke, small pizza, sampler and a antipasto salad . A man answered and as I ordered, took time to explain what was on each item and how the salad was stacked. He gave me the price and said it would be about 40mins. In 30 mins came a knock on the door. All my items and a very large salad. While I forgot to ask, also in the bag was 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 forks, Parmesan cheese, red peppers and napkins. Even a napkin between each plate. The person on the phone and the delivery person were extremely nice. I am blown away by their attention to detail. What a unusual happy experience. Oh, by the way the food was great too.“

“This was my first time visiting this Papa Murphy’s location at Carmichael and Fair Oaks Drive, and I came away very impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. My order was prepared on time and ready for pickup exactly when promised, which made the entire process quick and convenient. “We had a good experience as a family, ordered a couple different pizzas and tried different toppings. Both pizzas were very good, not your everyday pizza. It was nice to have something different. I only gave the atmosphere a 2 because it's not the best area, it is quiet at the spot and they do have some outdoor seating. It's a very small shop so taking it to go is probably the intention more so than dine in.“
