“Charming local restaurant with friendly family vibe and delicious food at reasonable prices. Our group of eight enjoyed a fabulous lunch of very generously portioned gourmet sandwiches with yummy asparagus soup side, and beautifully grilled artichoke appetizers. Will definitely be back to check out Sunday brunch and dinner menu.“
“Hands down amazing! This is my third time ordering and I am obsessed. The mushroom chicken Alfredo is rich and creamy. Chicken is tender not dry! I also tried their deep fried cheesecake which HITS!!Me and my family have pizza every weekend and we decided to switch it up and try something new last weekend. We tried the chicken buffalo which was also a huge hit with the family.Highly recommend. Amazing food and Customer service is great: initially I was greeted by a hijabi (forgot to get her name) and this time it was Tariq and Akram.“
“This place was AMAZING! The service was friendly and quick while also taking care to prepare everything beautifully. The atmosphere was cozy and felt like a fun hole in the wall and the food was delicious. I got the combo platter with gyro meat and falafel for $16.99. The meat was tasty and perfectly combined the moist crispiness good gyro meat should. The hummus and sauces were delicious and creamy, the produce was fresh, and the pita was warm and fluffy. But the star of the show really was their falafel. The falafel was crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. The flavor of everything was great but the falafel was truly spectacular. I will be returning soon.“
“I love this pizza place. I go to heaven each time I consume the Palak Paneer. My partner loves the bbq paneer. The photo below shows two slices missing. Now I'm not asking for a refund... it's actually a photo of my pizza after I devoured some once I got in my car ;)Friendly and quick staff.“
“I live fairly close so I might be a bit biased, but this place SMACKS! The staff is super friendly and the service is quick. Even when it's busy I hardly have to wait longer than 30 minutes for a pie. My go to is a Thin crust, pepperoni. Reminiscent of a quick NY pie...not quite the same but does the job without breaking the bank. If this place starts offering thin crust slices ready to go, I might have to show up in some timbs and a parka on a daily basis.“
“When you first walk in it looks like a hole in the wall place, nothing fancy... but boy would you be wrong!!! The pizzas they offer for the day all have unique ingredients that you wouldn't normally think about putting together, but let your freak flag fly!!! They are sooooooooo good! They KNOW what they are doing! They have a wide selection of wines that they pair with each pizza, and their salads (which we didn't try) look like a meal by themselves!!! When you sit down and look around, you see kid scribbles on the wall. Obviously from their kid (who's on the website) which gives this place a one of a kind family vibe! Service was quick and professional. Hearing the conversations they have with other people they seem to pride themselves on getting to know their customers! I love it! Please give it a try! You won't be disappointed!“
“La Porta was, simply put, amazing. The reviews are spot-on; the food is phenomenal. My favorite pizzas were the Catania and the Napoli, which were both on great crusts -- also, hot honey?? What an amazing flavor combination! I went with family and had a blast, the staff was super friendly, and I'm sure to be coming back soon!“
“This place makes good pizza. I had the Old School and it was really good. My Dr. Pepper came in a bottle, and they served the pizza with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, olive oil and chili oil on the side. I appreciate not having to ask for that stuff.“
“Great service. Ordered a pizza for pick up on New Year's Eve asked for a suggestion on the type of pizza and it did not disappoint. Ordered an extra large half combo half butter chicken extra spicy. Both was delicious and flavorful. when I picked up the pizza. 20 minutes later, I saw some desserts and asked for a recommendation and got the donut balls. They are amazing.“
“Hosted a birthday party in their banquet room for 14 guests and it was a fabulous experience! I highly recommend Piatti’s if you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service and wanting a private room for a celebration. Our family and friends loved everything about it and the planning process was such an easy experience. In fact, the banquet manager was super helpful and communicative since the day I called to book the reservation. Would absolutely go back for the fresh pasta, ambience and/or to host another celebration.“
“We had a birthday celebration there with about 8 elderly people. It was a blast! The food was excellent. People were ordering pizza (excellent pizza), pasta, salads. There was so much food. The service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.“
“I don't know how this place stays in business with the overly generous amount of ingredients they LOAD into their pizza!! Delish is the best pizza I've had in Sacramento & it rivals how untouchable Round Table used to be, back when that company was on top of their game. There are MANY more ingredient options than I've seen at any other pizza place & they offer meat alternatives, like veggie sausage & veggie pepperoni. My daughter eats meat & can't tell the difference! She has also ordered meat options here & she highly approves. The delivery drivers are always very sweet & genuine.I only get delivery & haven't been inside, so I did not rate the atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Meat alternative sausage & pepperoni!“
“I live about 100 miles north of Sacramento, so I don't get to the city very often. Being that there are so many places to dine in Sac, I feel extremely lucky to have been introduced to this particular brewery. They Don't actually brew any beer at this location. They look to have around a dozen beers on top. They have a nice selection of can beers as well.I had a flight of six different beers. Southlands, slaying power, St Thomas, pulp, King citra, destination unknown.Slaying power was my least favorite. And I have a hard time deciding which of the other five is my most favorite. They make good beer. The pizza was also very good. I guess it's what you would call East Coast style pizza? The ingredients did taste very fresh. As far as cost goes: I want to say that for the pizza and two flights of beers it was a little on the pricey side. I don't get to Sacramento that often so don't really mind spending the 70 bucks while discovering a fantastic brewery.“
“The friendliest staff for delicious food at a really great price. Like, not just “great for Midtown” prices, just affordable, tasty food in general. The pizza is always great but they frequently have other menu items like fun sandwiches. The drink selection is great too and I’m always able to try something new.“
“Excellent place to watch a game. Bonus: sound is on for the Kings games! Extensive beer menu, full bar, pizza is delicious, and, for the gluten-free fans, the best gluten-free crust around. Friendly servers who give a damn. Highly recommend this locally owned small business.“
“Great Czech cuisine with an Italian option. A must stop for authentic Czech food or take out pizza. We are from our of state but stop in when we come to Sacramento. The restaurant has just gotten better and better over the last 7 years. It is clear they love what they do and want to share it we us. Again, this is a must stop dinning experience.“
“Pizza was delicious everything fresh. The wings the best ever Atmosphere great good views. Very clean, Frankie came out and talked to us definitely coming back.Round table's pizza across the street customer service is very unprofessional and it's just going down hill try Frankie's!“
“Great community spot to have some beer and pizza! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Some regular patrons aren’t the best about watching their kids (being disruptive to other patrons, scratching up the tables, which is disappointing, but that’s not HG’s fault. Other than that, it’s a pretty relaxing/inviting atmosphere. If Hop Gardens wasn’t run by great people, it might keep me away, but that’s not the case. It’s one of our favorites!“
“The vegan pizza is amazing every time. We tried the pepperoni and the butter chicken and although spicy, the butter chicken pizza was delicious. The service is pretty good, they do attempt to upsell the drinks which I don’t mind. I did not like the videos on the tv screens and the music as they had cursing and you don’t know what is going to pop up on tik tok. So I don’t think we would dine here as a family.“
“The pizza here is REALLY good. Like really, really good, the caveat here is that the dough quality will vary in how well its cooked. To be clear, it always TASTES good, but it's also a roll of the dice if you're going to be getting a well baked slice, or if you're going to end up frantically trying to hold a limping square with its topping spilling onto your forearm. Thankfully, the later instance isn't AS frequent, but it's worth noting. The staff are always very sweet and your food never takes too long to reach your table. The building itself is bright, and I prefer darker, more intimate lighting/colors, but that's my personal taste, not their fault. They also have trivia nights which I plan to attend soon as well! I highly recommend trying them out.“
“Okay let me give this review straight from my hearts stomach. Having lived in New York for many many years Brooklyn Staten Island New Rochelle I gotta tell ya how amazing how superb absolutely genuine Anthony's Italian Cuisine is look I would be absolutely thrilled to take my New York friends into this Sacramento establishment.Anthony's Italian cuisine should be your go-to for an absolute wholesome Italian meal. Bravo ? salut. I highly recommend you come on over toAnthony's fine Italian cuisine bring your family friends neighbors coworkers you will not be disappointed I give you my wordI assure you your gonna love it capiche“
“First time goin here. Ordered the loaded fries with gyro. That serving was huge and delicious. Definitely worth the cost. Got my lady the chicken shwarma fries also bomb. And couple sides. The falafel side and the dolmas. Definitely gonna come back.“
“Pete's is a great place to stop off for a beer and some true pub style food. My wife and I came here on a Thursday night before going to the Steve Trevino show. We walked In and were seated right away by a very upbeat, energetic young man (5'11, brown hair, man-bun). All of the food we had was very good and the services was even better. The young man who seated us was running the whole floor by himself. We were both really impressed with his upbeat attitude and his ability to work the entire restaurant. Management should be very grateful!“
“I get it, y'all. Like my fellow Yelp Elites have declared: this is the spot. Bar none. Fuggetabouit. We decided to stop here with our group of 6 before visiting the train museum. There was a group ahead of us, but we were able to find enough seating while I went to the counter to order the food. It's a small restaurant, but it doesn't feel crowded even when full. The counter was staffed by a very friendly young lady and another gentleman who apparently used to own the place, but sold it to the current owners. They were very patient as I went through the menu and tried to decide what would be best for our group. I ordered the appetizer of popcorn chicken, a large Mercke Meat pizza, 4 Martinelli apple juices and 2 Sprecher specialty sodas (Cherry Cola and Orange Dream). We were warned that it would take 20-25 minutes for the pizza to come out, but that didn't bother me. First came the popcorn chicken. It was hot and steamy and came with the side of bbq sauce I requested. The kids ate it too quickly for me to get a photo, but it was a nice amuse-bouche. Definitely something you could get in the grocery store, but cooked in a way that I definitely cannot replicate at home. The sodas were spectacular! They are sweetened with glucose and honey and I wish I could find them locally because they were quite refreshing. The pizza: Now I eat pizza everywhere I go. This place has everyone beat. The crust was thin, but not cracker thin. It had the perfect crispiness on the top. The sauce was fresh without being overwhelming, the cheese was gooey and stretchy and man that pepperoni had some kick! You can taste the flavor of each individual meat on the pizza. Even my kids said 6/5 stars because the pizza was so good. All in all it came out to about $56 with tax, but it was worth it!“
“Good food - we had pasta dishes. Pretty pricey for what it is ($20+ for a vegetarian penne dish which is really MAYBE 1.5 servings). Ambiance is very cute and Italian inspired. They were understaffed during our visit but managed. The drinks are a good value - you basically get two drinks for the price of one.“
“A gem of Mediterranean restaurant around this place, nice ambiance and exceptional service with large portions and freshly prepared food and fresh ingredients, even if you order through online the service and quality never compromised, I storogly recommend this restaurant one can “
“Very good food. The portions for the food we ordered were pretty satisfying. The service was nice. No one went above and beyond for my group, but I was not upset by the service. The decor was very nice. I felt cozy and had plenty of heat from the above heater while dining outside.“
“This pizza place resides in the converted innards of metal storage containers. The pizza comes from a wood oven set up inside. Beyond the traditional offerings of cheese and pepperoni, you'll also find options that utilize toppings like arugula, pesto, mushrooms, and bacon. They have appetizers, like hummus or their wood-fired rosemary bread loaf with herb butter. A rotating selection of craft brews is on offer to compliment your meal. The open-air environment is pleasantly informal. You seat yourself at long tables and may find yourself sharing one with one or two other groups.People bring their dogs and their kids, though you'll probably see more of the former than the latter. The Federalist might not offer the best slice in town, but their unique takes are pretty tasty. They are solidly good.“
“first time here. Was visiting Sac just for an evening. The service was excellent, and we all agreed the food was pretty good.... just a smidge from great. I didn't really get the traditional pizza, but modern/cold ambience of the restaurant decor.“
“I went today after a long day at work looking for a halal pizza place and I don’t regret it at all. I was blown away by how good the pizza tasted. Not only that, the place was so clean which is very unexpected for a family business and I was treated with kindness and warm hospitality by the staff, and they were very friendly and attentive. Their pizza always has a lot of toppings and you couldn’t find anything like this at regular fast food restaurants. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m craving pizza!“
“I had the Short Rib Pappardelle, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I shared a large salad, and it was huge but a bit messy to share. I also had the tiramisu which was served in a cup. It was pretty good but not the best I ever had.I thought this was a sit-down restaurant, but you order your food at the counter and then the food is brought to you. This was fine, but considering the cost of the food, I would expect table service. The menu seemed a bit limited, especially since their catering menu offers a lot more, but overall, it was a good experience, and I would probably go again at some point.“
“Great pizza, hands down. The dough is what makes it so worth checking out. And the tomato sauce is simple yet flavorful! The chili olive oil at the table is a must to up the flavor! Tried the 3 meat combo and the non tomato one called the triana w chorizo, garlic and chili oil baked in with arugula added after baking, so fresh tasting!“
“One the best pizzas in town. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. We celebrated a birthdate and ordered several types of pizzas, garlic chicken and breadsticks. We opted to not have the double pepperoni but I must say I read previous reviews and most likely are competitors writing bad reviews sad :-(. Again this place shines and I am part Italian I know what is good great or not good pizza. Noah's pizza was amazing! Give it a try.“
“Great food in open kitchen and bar that allows for a larger group but leaves space for intimate space when needed. Pizza is the best but remember to try some pasta dishes as well. Beer and wine selection is nice display of local and some larger brewers that match well with all “
“Amazing food. Everyone in there were very caring and very friendly. It feels like an actual pizza spot when walking in. The pizza slices are not greasy, are very crisp, and very delicious. While there, our vehicle was slammed into by a drunk driver. The owner, a very sweet lady, came out and handed us waters and apple juice. All the workers checked up on us and made us feel safe and secured. None of them left and stayed late to make sure we got into vehicles safely. Next time I come back up town, I'm definitely stopping by again.“
“We come here everytime the power goes out on the other side of the river. The back area is great with. Big group of kids as they have arcade games and such. Also pool tables. Great for families and large groups. And the best part is the pizza is fantastic!!! No we come even when the power is not out. ?Kid-friendliness: Arcade games will keep the kiddos entertained for a long time!! They have a change machine for quarters, which is a fun 'game' all on its own! ?“
“Special celebration dinner? Great service and food? Classy ambience? Il Fornaio definitely checked all the boxes! Our server tonight was Nicole and she made this birthday dinner that much more special! Talk about prompt and friendly service! I will definitely ask for (and recommend) Nicole's phenomenal service again next time! The pasta here is hand made fresh. The mushroom ravioli and seafood linguine that we ordered were full of flavor in every bite. The pasta was cooked to perfection. It's as if the ingredients were dancing to a symphony on my tongue! The calamari appetizer is the best here in Northern California. As a finale, the tiramisu was phenomenal and the closest to what I've tasted in Rome. As one waiter told me, if the pastry chef does not have the right ingredients, it is simply not made here. This Sacramento location is the most elegant, with tall ceilings and classical architectural details throughout the restaurant. With oil paintings decorating the dining rooms, it seems as if you magically walked into a restaurant in Europe for an incredible meal! A must try if you've never been here for an incredible Italian meal!“
“Very good Gluten Free GF pizza. Great taste, amazing crust and lots of cheese! The tables have stands with a warmer for the pizza to sit on, very nice touch. The server was incredibly attentive and courteous. Great experienceDietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza was very good, no reactions from a highly-sensitive celiac.“
“Love the beer here one of the better breweries in the Sacramento region. The place has awesome vibes great beer and yummy foods. The back patio is large inviting and has plenty of seating. Inside is rather small but nice vibes.Great place to come grab a Beer and lunch during spring / summer / fall. 1/2 of patio space is covered as well.Parking: On street in front of brewery“
“We want to send a HUGE Thank You to the Staff for always going above and beyond for allowing us to host 49er watch parties. Service is top notch, food is always fresh and ready to enjoy. We came in for our watch party for Super Bowl and they have decorated just for us.... Thank you to All Staff....“
“This pizza place is the best I've ever been to. Their pizza are gorgeously delicious and made me fall in love instantly. Definitely 5/5 stars. The food may be slightly on the pricey side compared to other pizza houses, but you get what you pay for. A delicious pizza, well worth the price.“
“The first few times I ordered from these guys, it always took longer for them to make the pizza compared to the original estimated time. The last 2 or 3 times, they are making the pizzas more quickly now. The pizzas have always been good taste wise, they were just a little slow in actually making them until now. My family and I like going here because of their unique flavors and ingredients. Where else can you get a chicken Tikka pizza?“
“03.2024After a long long time found a gem.Tried their Soya Chap in Tikka flavour and believe me it’s better than some food joints in Delhi and Panjab. Mouthwatering good. Also there Aaloo tikki (without yogurt) and Masala Sikanji are must try. Can’t wait to comeback and eat them again“
“Amazing takeout pizza!!! Relatively cheap and the only place we go to now!Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian, so we normally get the large special with mushrooms, olives, and onions, but they have a veggie option and you can easily customize pizzas.Parking: The downside is the low amount of parking, often we have to park on the street.“
“I've been going to Giant Pizza almost 20 years. They have always been very friendly and their pizza is delicious! Especially their Greek pizza! If you like Greek pizza, these guys are the best! I still make trips downtown from Rancho Cordova for their pizza! DELICIOUS!!“
“Old but cool! Our server was Carly and she was magnificent! Their wings were great but pricey. The pizza was pretty good. It's unique but I wish for the price they put more toppings. I even ordered extra cheese and there was hardly any for some reason? The biggest hit was the sauce! I'm 57 and it's the best pizza sauce I've ever had. In fact the sauce is so good it makes up for the lack of toppings.....almost. Still I can recommend this place. Carly's customer service was amazing and she alone will keep customers coming back. The wait wasn't really that long. We ate our wings and my wife ate her salad and before we knew it here comes the sizzling pan full of deliciousness. Easy to see why people either love this place or hate it. I enjoyed it and I enjoyed the "speakeasy" feel of the room. Thank you Zelda's and thank you Carly!“
“Been back to this establishment. Several times since my last review. Definitely back to the excellent place. It was huge. No the issues that I detailed in my last review was present. Bottom line everything was good. Service, food, staff, and cleanliness. This is a go to place!“
“We loved hot and freshly made pizza, a good flavor and above all excellent customer service, which is basic, I congratulate you, without a doubt, a good option to eat pizzaParking: There is little parking during the day because there are more stores in that place but at night you will always find a place to park.“
“The dining room wasn't much to look forward to it needs a remodel to become more welcoming. Pizza wise was ok every slice we pull the majority of the toppings falls off. The pizzas could use more cheese and the toppings were light for the price. The service was very nice and that's the reason why I gave this place a 4 instead of a 3. Overall it was ok“
“Another great meal at TOT. Had the same friendly server and tried the "Dinner for $28" which should be called the best deal in town! We both choose salad as our starter and had a specialty pasta (seafood with creamy white sauce), 2 glasses of wine and garlic cheese bread for less than $60.00. Great night, great food and service!!“
