“Went here for a sweet treat after eating around the area. Got the black sesame swirl and the hokkaido cream in a cone. I definitely liked the hokkaido cream more than the black sesame! It was super rich/creamy and it wasn't too sweet which was perfect! The cookie cone it came in was unique and had a nice bite to it. The black sesame was good but it was mixed with charcoal and ended up lacking in sesame flavor. The charcoal wasn't for me personally, but definitely try it for yourself.“

“I love this place, every time I visit I always try a new flavor since all the flavors are so unique. It may sound weird but my absolute favorite flavor is the olive oil. Just recently I tried their new cereal flavors and my favorite one was the coconut pandan, it wasn't very sweet and the coconut flavor was prominent and not artificial. The staff was very sweet and patient when my friends and I wanted to sample all these different flavors. The shop is clean and organized, there isn't any seating in there but that's fine considering there is so much seating outside in the fountains. The only reason that I'm not giving this place 5 stars is only because a single scoop of ice cream is $6.50. The scoops are big but still expensive.“
“Wowser this place is amazing. Who knew that a place called Burger shack would have one of the most amazing burgers we've ever had. I had the bacon cheeseburger and somehow it tasted creamy and salty and delicious all at once. My husband had the mushroom burger, and it was to quote him the best burger he's ever had in his entire life. This is a no-frills place. Lots of internal seating, lots of parking, and a drive-through. Order at the counter and they don't ask you if you want to tip when you pay electronically. They have tap and pay as a choice. The crinkle fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Ketchup come in individual packets as does the salt. I'm already dreaming about going back again. One regular and one double combo were $28. They have Pepsi fountain products behind the counter with free refills. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

They have daily rotating flavors, so every visit will be different. You can check out their instagram to find out what they're currently serving. I tasted the more "unique" flavors, like cornbread and salted egg yolk potato chip. They tasted fine, but the flavor profiles didn't stand out too much for me. Meanwhile, the more "basic" flavors like sea salt and ube were strong. As in not subtle at all. It was amazing! If you know what you want and don't need help this is the place for you but don't expect help if it's your first time. At the end one person said " welcome in " the other four did not.“

Nice sized chips. The chocolate brownie was my favorite: soft and the perfect amount of chocolately flavor without being overly sweet. Not a huge sugar cookie fan but these are good. Hard to cut but right ratio of sugar cookie to frosting. My husband would be in heaven with these. The carrot cake was super moist and everything I want in a carrot cake. Good ratio of cake to frosting with just a sprinkle of nuts. You can taste the carrot shavings and raisins without them overpowering.“

“Want to be transported back in time? You absolutely need to stop at Vic's ice cream shop in East Sacramento. There is a small adjacent parking lot and plenty of street parking around. Expect somewhat long lines on warm weekends. You can also grab a seat at the counter or a booth. There is limited seating. They have a small menu of hot food items, but what they're known for are their desserts and ice cream! I got a small sunday of strawberry cheesecake ice cream with hot caramel and fresh pineapple with a cherry and whipped cream. Delicious! Their top Seller is the chocolate mint ice cream which smells heavenly of mint. All their ice cream is made fresh in house. They also have a secret menu. Ask for the suicide drink next time. This is a great nostalgic local shop that's been around since 1947.“

“I just recently visited Del Valle Antojitos y Neveria (located on the side of Del Valle Supermarket), and ordered a custom banana split. I can't believe this place only has one Yelp review so far! Their concha ice cream sandwiches are all over Instagram. I was going to order a concha ice cream sandwich, but they had already sold out of their conchas (which they bake fresh in store each morning) for the day. The shop was so cute, and highly Instagrammable. The walls are painted pink, and decorated with die-cut wooden posters of Mexican sweets. The staff was super patient, friendly, and helpful. I asked if I could change out the flavors and toppings in the banana split, and they said 'Of course!' For my ice cream flavors, I asked for Pistachio, Ferrero, and Strawberries with queso. For toppings, I asked for Fruity Pebbles and Sour Gummy Worms, but she also added the standard coconut and granola, which came out delicious. There was also whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherries, sprinkles, and of course, the banana. (I also saw a Gansito split option on Instagram.) Their ice cream is made in house, and it shows in the flavor. My favorite ice cream was the Strawberries with queso, and then the Nutella. Although I liked the Pistachio flavor, I thought that it was way too heavy on the Pistachio extract. I was thinking that it probably needs an alcohol content warning (as the extract contains about 35% alcohol). Overall, this was probably the best banana split I've ever had in my life. This shop is so cute, and they offer all kinds of Mexican snacks and desserts, like mangonadas, fresas con crema, elote, Doritos locos, etc. All of their goodies are made "extra," as in lovingly, over the top, and cute enough to show off on Instagram. In addition to the regular concha ice cream sandwiches, which come with two scoops of ice cream, they also have a mega concha, which comes with five scoops, and is meant to serve at least two people. In addition to the regular mangonada, they also offer a 'Del Valle' version with house made chamoy, chamoygetti, a tamarind cuchara and straw, and other Mexican candies (this is what I want to try next). This shop reminds me of the shops I go to when I visit my family in Southern California. This is the first time I've found anything as good in NorCal! I'm so glad I found this place. I'll definitely be back!“

They have a humongous selection of toppings in 3 different areas along with hot fudge and other sauces. We tried the non-fat chocolate-vanilla mix and the NY cheesecake; both were pretty darn good and didn't taste like fake flavors. We got small servings as we had just eaten lunch but they were very reasonable at $3.60 and $4.35 with a few light toppings. It is self serve and the cashier was friendly. They have a purchase 10 get 1 free card. Will definitely return!“
