Looked up to see if there was something else and discovered Meg's Creamery. Took a little drive to "downtown" Rio Linda and ended up at the old shopping area of Rio Linda. Met Meg and enjoyed some nice chat and very nice ice cream. My wife had the vanilla orange float and I had the chocolate peanut butter with some lime sherbet. “This is a fabulous place to take kids! My kids really enjoy picking their own toppings and watching them make the ice cream. The guys put on a show tossing their scrapers and chatting with my kiddos. They also have claw machines that take seemingly free tokens that the guys give out repeatedly. My kids were entertained for a solid hour. The ice cream bases are super yummy and you get a lot so very worth the price. “Wowser this place is amazing. Who knew that a place called Burger shack would have one of the most amazing burgers we've ever had. I had the bacon cheeseburger and somehow it tasted creamy and salty and delicious all at once. My husband had the mushroom burger, and it was to quote him the best burger he's ever had in his entire life. This is a no-frills place. Lots of internal seating, lots of parking, and a drive-through. Order at the counter and they don't ask you if you want to tip when you pay electronically. They have tap and pay as a choice. The crinkle fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Ketchup come in individual packets as does the salt. I'm already dreaming about going back again. One regular and one double combo were $28. They have Pepsi fountain products behind the counter with free refills. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

They have daily rotating flavors, so every visit will be different. You can check out their instagram to find out what they're currently serving. I tasted the more "unique" flavors, like cornbread and salted egg yolk potato chip. They tasted fine, but the flavor profiles didn't stand out too much for me. “He was outstanding. Very receptive, and the cost was fair. He set my garage up and got it going. He is such a lovely person. He came outside to find out why my garage wasn't working. He didn't charge us anything for it and turned down our gift, which was our power. He stated that it is his responsibility to look after us as his clients. “Nice clean and cozy spot. Service not there didn't greet , didn't explain things and also notice while there they didn't greet anyone or really help with service. I ordered the orange Popsicle, when I asked how to pronounce it he just translated what it was. I'm assuming one isn't supposed to chew the Popsicle because there were hard seeds in it that could have broke me teeth. If you know what you want and don't need help this is the place for you but don't expect help if it's your first time. At the end one person said " welcome in " the other four did not.“

The customer service was great....We had a good experience and met very happy employees working there that day. The place IS VERY small. Like one or two tables small with a few tables outside. You might have to grab your cup and have a little walk around the strip mall while you eat. But if you do have a chance to grab a seat inside or out, it appeared the people working there tried their best to be attentive in keeping the area clean. It seems like they rotate their products often enough where you'll have plenty of choices in yogurt and toppings.“

Expect somewhat long lines on warm weekends. You can also grab a seat at the counter or a booth. There is limited seating. They have a small menu of hot food items, but what they're known for are their desserts and ice cream! I got a small sunday of strawberry cheesecake ice cream with hot caramel and fresh pineapple with a cherry and whipped cream. Delicious! Their top Seller is the chocolate mint ice cream which smells heavenly of mint. All their ice cream is made fresh in house. They also have a secret menu. Ask for the suicide drink next time. This is a great nostalgic local shop that's been around since 1947.“

The only standard ice cream shop item they have other than plain ice cream is a banana split, they aren't actually equipped to make sundaes. The ice cream itself was actually very good. “Came here for lunch as it is a few minutes away from where I work. The place is located in a shopping center with other places to eat such as Thai and Cuban so it's good for desert. My coworkers and I come here often as it is one of the few places around the area that sell Taro Ice cream. I sometimes make the drive down from Roseville to come buy it. The owner is very nice and she was willing to help us out in deciding which option would be best as my friend couldn't decide what flavor smoothie she wanted. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable. The place itself is clean and well maintained. Their are a few tables and they have a picture menu so one can choose from all their different items. Highly recommend to try the Taro ice cream it's the best!“
“Yummy food! I walked by this place while exploring Downtown Sacramento outside of my hotel while they were closed in the morning. I returned during lunch and had the butter chicken plate with Nan. “I went here on a whim to buy donuts for the office. The line was three deep. They processed people fairly quickly. Two taking orders and one person ring up the order. To my surprise and delight they had boba tea which is my current craving. I order a boba tea and was good. The donuts were on par with other donut shops. Typical selection you would expect and quality was also as expected. I would return for a donut or bobs fix.“
