What I especially appreciated was that no one pressured me to leave a review, unlike at some other places. This review is entirely my own decision as a satisfied customer because I found exactly what I was looking for.

“The lamb in qabili palaw was tender and could be cut with fork. The curry was spicy but not over the top. All dishes well seasoned and attractively arranged even though takeout. The long grain rice and bread were also very tasty.“

“This place is sooo yummy! I ordered the falafel wrap and I dare say it’s the best I’ve had. Creamy and ordered with medium spice which was perfect. “My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly man who offered suggestions on the menu. He pleasantly asked if we were happy with our food. The food is AMAZING. I got a gyro wrap, my husband got a gyro platter. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. My husband eats more food then you could imagine and it made him stuffed while not sacrificing quality or flavor. The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We got two baklavas and I cannot even explain how good they are.“

It’s located INSIDE a gas station which kinda threw me off like Alice in wonderland style but the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Here I had the traditional and athletic Qabli Palaw in which lamb and rice are simmered together which gives it the true flavor of Qabli, which is hard to find. I left a tip on the Wednesday of finals, and boom. I got to try a small tray of fries for free along with my food. Ong they didn't have to do that but the fries were PRETTY GOOD. ngl.

The fella at the counter was very patient with me when explaining the menu and another worker checked in on me frequently after my tray was served. They have great options to mix and match fried fish and chicken, with a long list of sides to add on as desired.

Ray’s offers a big selection of desserts consisting of a variety of sliced cakes and pies. They also offer homemade sauces, homemade drinks like lemonades and milkshakes, and large party platters. Bottled/canned drinks and ice cream are available in separate fridges/freezer.

I ordered the two piece fried snapper with a side of collard greens and a side of red beans and rice. Food came out quickly and very hot. The fish and fries were crispy and salty and paired well with the tarter sauce. Both sides came with generous amounts of turkey necks; they didn’t skimp on the meat.“
