Caravan Uzbek Cuisine offers delicious, authentic Uzbek dishes made with love. Every time, everything is delicious. The plov is absolutely amazing, and the fruit tea with honey is a favorite drink in Sacramento. Guests can order a little bit of everything, from kabobs to shawarma, fries, salad, dumplings, and appetizers, and would easily order any one of those dishes again. The Uzbek dishes taste authentic and fresh, with big portions and fair prices. The dumpling soup is flavorful and delicious. The food is served on beautiful colorful plates. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a vibrant atmosphere. The staff is friendly, thoughtful, and sweet, with fast service. The only drawback is that the popular spot can require a wait during crowded times. It is a nice place for a relaxed dinner and a perfect halfway point between Bay Area and Tahoe, just 6 minutes off I-80. Worth it for Central Asian food or trying something different.
