“The lamb in qabili palaw was tender and could be cut with fork. The curry was spicy but not over the top. All dishes well seasoned and attractively arranged even though takeout. The long grain rice and bread were also very tasty.“

“I cannot express enough how much I adore Falafel Fusion in Rancho Cordova--it's truly the gem of Mediterranean cuisine in the Sacramento area! From the moment you step in, the inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. Inayat, the manager, is an absolute star! His passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience shines through, making each visit memorable. Conveniently located next to the I-50 exit with ample parking, Falafel Fusion is easily accessible, adding to its charm. Now, let's talk about the falafel platter--an absolute masterpiece! The combination of pita, falafels, basmati rice, house salad, and that secret house sauce is nothing short of divine. The pita was incredibly soft, the falafels crispy with a delightful cilantro flavor. Each bite was a burst of taste explosions, and the falafels literally melted in my mouth. The spice levels were spot-on, providing a perfect balance of flavors. The hummus, a heavenly side, complemented the falafels and basmati rice flawlessly. Speaking of the rice, it was not just any rice--it was a flavorful journey on its own. The house salad, fresh and vibrant, added a delightful crunch to the meal. Now, let's talk about that secret house sauce--it's an absolute game-changer! I've never tasted anything so good. It elevates the entire dining experience to a whole new level. Kudos to the brilliant minds behind this secret concoction! And the cleanliness! The spotless bathrooms reflect the commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food you receive. In conclusion, Falafel Fusion is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and mouthwatering Mediterranean cuisine. Support this amazing local business; you won't be disappointed! Thank you, Falafel Fusion, for consistently delivering an unforgettable dining experience.“

“The owner is a friend of mine and having been to Afghanistan I can assure that the food is authentic, delicious and the atmosphere very hospitable.“

“The person who took our order was very nice and friendly. I ordered 2 tenders, medium heat, and it comes with fries, pickles and Dave's sauce. The chicken was juicy and spicy and delicious 😋 the tenders were large pieces. So I shared the meal.“

“Outstanding. 5 stars ✨ will definitely be returning“

“My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“This place is sooo yummy! I ordered the falafel wrap and I dare say it’s the best I’ve had. Creamy and ordered with medium spice which was perfect. Incredible flavor and the wrap was fried to perfection. Cute decor, quiet, lowkey. Not too fancy, not too casual. Perfect for a nice little lunch. More people need to go here!“

“Cute little place! Fresh and delicious 🤤“

“Chicken plate was really good. Husband said it's the best rice he's ever had. My beef and lamb gyro was amazing!! Baklava was TOP NOTCH! We look forward to eating here many times again.“

“Countless times we had tried other places - we always come back here...For this authentic shawarma. We love the new place, interior, decor, location: it's spotless, super clean, beautiful and has that Caravan spirit. Just wow! Watching you grow from the food truck to this- makes me happy and confident that every single time I order, whether it's shawarma or plov - I will always get the best customer service and the best quality of food. Thank you and wish the prosperity you, Caravan! Cheers.“

“Tried for the first time tonight. Open late, so that was a huge plus. We tried the chicken and beef/lamb gyros and both were so delicious. One of best I've had in awhile.10/10

Whoever was working tonight (possibly the owner?), thank you! We'll be back. 💯🔥😊“

“delicious food and good customer service“

“Falafel was better than my nana’s😁 portions were more than enough and the hummus was the bomb. Great service and now it’s Nap time😌“

“Beef curry, polaw, Bangladeshi dishes is sooo good I really enjoyed it “

“Came here hungry after work and after reading reviews I decided to try it out cuz I was really craving chicken. It’s located INSIDE a gas station which kinda threw me off like Alice in wonderland style but the staff were so friendly and welcoming! They had my favorite Lemon pepper and Buffalo for my man (which turned out amazing) and I didn’t even have to wait long. 10/10“

“the food was amazing I got the spicy shawarma and I was the perfect level of spice and the shawarma was massive for 16.50

the service was great super nice

the place was super nice in the shade, not too loud and in a private environment

and overall Id give them a 5/5

I would recomend 100%“

“My dad has been a customer since the mid 90’s when they opened. We’ve been going there for years. Though we weren’t aware of how things would change with the new ownership, The food has always been good and the environment has always been great. We have always experienced great customer service after learning about the new ownership.
Was a little skeptical about the change of ownership, but after trying this place out we can guarantee that the taste has not changed one bit. The place is super clean. We will continue to be customers!“

“Great new Mediterranean restaurant on Stockton Boulevard! Best hummus!! Gyros will bring a smile. All the right stuff including falafel and housemate samosas. Welcome to the neighborhood!“

“We went today and it was great! Friendly staff and fantastic food. 5 STARS. We will be returning, for sure.“

“I visited this store today and had an excellent experience. The staff were respectful, welcoming, and provided outstanding customer service. I stopped by to purchase chapati bread, and I was very impressed by how fresh and delicious it was.

What I especially appreciated was that no one pressured me to leave a review, unlike at some other places. This review is entirely my own decision as a satisfied customer because I found exactly what I was looking for.

I am not saying other stores are bad, but if you are looking for truly fresh bread, I highly recommend visiting this store. The quality and freshness of their bread genuinely stand out from others.“

“Quality food & excellent service.“

“Love the lunch combo! All the dishes are cooked to perfection!Awesome service!“

“Freegin Dig this place. Lagit killer pizza, and may be the best/my favorite Pizza spot on the West Coast“

“Afghan Ice Cream & Grill is one of the only places I found everything fairly good. Here I had the traditional and athletic Qabli Palaw in which lamb and rice are simmered together which gives it the true flavor of Qabli, which is hard to find. The price was fair and a service with humility. Even though it’s a small place but the evening summer breeze on the patio made everything more pleasant.“

“delicious pizz fast order“

“Freshness and deliciousness is felt in every bite of your food in M’s Halal. Nice and quiet family friendly restaurant! Great place, definitely recommend it.“

“My second time here and I ordered the vegan fish online but they were out. I had the curry 'chicken' (lion's mane mushrooms) instead and it was so good! Spicy and very flavorful.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting NY Gyros & Philly's in Sacramento, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Located conveniently in the College Green area with ample parking, this local small business captured my heart with its exceptional service and delicious food. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by Ahmeed, the incredible manager. His friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made me feel right at home. It's evident that Ahmeed has been impeccably trained, likely drawing from the success of his parents' thriving establishment in NY. His dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. One of the first things that caught my attention was the freshness of the ingredients. It's evident that NY Gyros & Philly's prides itself on using high-quality, fresh ingredients. Everything is made in-house, adding an extra touch of authenticity to each dish. I had the pleasure of trying their falafel wrap and fries, and I must say, they were absolutely delectable. The falafel was perfectly seasoned and had a delightful texture, while the fries were crispy and flavorful. The cleanliness and maintenance of the establishment were impeccable. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere was truly impressive. As a customer, it's always reassuring to dine in a place where cleanliness is a priority. What also impressed me was the commitment to catering to diverse dietary preferences. NY Gyros & Philly's proudly offers 100% Halal meat, ensuring that individuals with specific dietary requirements can enjoy their meals without any concerns. This dedication to inclusivity further adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant. The authentic taste of the food was truly remarkable. Each bite was bursting with flavors that transported me to the streets of New York. And their homemade red sauce was simply divine – a perfect accompaniment to their dishes. I'm thrilled to see NY Gyros & Philly's expanding and I am genuinely excited for their success. It's heartwarming to witness a local small business thrive while staying true to its roots. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and exploring more of their enticing menu. If you're searching for a place that offers exceptional service, fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and a warm atmosphere, look no further than NY Gyros & Philly's. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. 🥰“

“Great fish and chips! I tried the basa fish which I’ve never had before. Very Generous portion of three big pieces, you don’t need the large (unless sharing)! Quality fish and breading, a tiny bit salty for my liking. Placed order online and it was hot and ready when I showed up. I wish they offered malt vinegar. Recommend and next time I will try the fried chicken.“

“Alhamdulilah good food and friendly staff“

“My fave afghan ice cream (sheer yakh) in Sacramento!

side note, they catered my brothers wedding and it was SUCH a hit. They were the star of the show and our guests went back for seconds, thirds, and even fourths. We love them!!“

“Love the lunch combo! All the dishes are cooked to perfection!Awesome service!“

“Ong, they're pretty respectful and social. I spent 4 years eating here. I like the food. I always get the Chicken Platter and lately I've been hearing people getting their fries. I left a tip on the Wednesday of finals, and boom. I got to try a small tray of fries for free along with my food. Ong they didn't have to do that but the fries were PRETTY GOOD. ngl.

Anyways, yeah. Been coming here my whole 4-5 years at school. Love the food. Love the Staff. Hopefully one day I'll come back! Literally my favorite spot here!

My god tho, I wish I ordered the fries long ago. I only got to eat them at the Wednesday of finals lmao.“

“Amazing Food with exceptional customer service!“

“This place serves happiness, not just food. The staff are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome and happy. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the whole experience was enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!“

“Best food! Mashallah...Fun to go with family... delicious karahi chicken... chana masala & chicken Biryani“

“Great food , fair price …“

“The angry fry’s is my go to with the medium heat 💯🔥🔥“

“First time going here, and the chicken was fantastic. The buns were grilled on the inside, which gave it a nice soft crunch. I got the medium to be safe and was very good. The spices on the chicken melt in your mouth. The staff were really friendly and helped me order as well. I'm definitely going to go back and try the hot next time!“

“Afghan Fiji Halal Market is one of my favorite places for authentic Afghan food and groceries. The store is clean, well-stocked, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Their food is absolutely delicious—the kababs are flavorful, perfectly cooked, and some of the best I’ve had. The Qabuli Palaw is outstanding, with tender meat, perfectly seasoned rice, and just the right amount of sweetness from the raisins and carrots. The Chapati Naan is the best—always fresh, soft, and full of authentic flavor. They also serve what I consider some of the best pizza in town—fresh, tasty, and always satisfying.

What really sets this place apart is the value. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other markets, and the quality of both the food and groceries is excellent. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and you get great portions for the price. Highly recommend stopping by for both their groceries and their amazing food!“

“Khyber Market is awesome! Great prices. The store is very clean and well organized. Nice people, nice place. Definitely recommend.“

“We had a great take out, will recommend their afghani Bargar, So delicious. Thanks Edris and Ajmal bro.“
