“Couldn't add a soda to my order at the 2nd drive thru window..so annoying. Why can't they take my money, it's the same building, same people, you would think they would want to make as much money as possible as well as ensuring the customer's experience is a positive one.“

“Unfortunately today I had a bad experience with the cashier. I needed help finding a drink to fit my dietary restrictions and the cashier was very unhelpful. I ended up leaving without a drink because the cashier didn't help me. I always ask for help when ordering at Starbucks and I ALWAYS go inside because of this reason. There was no line and nobody in front of me so it wasn't too busy for the girl to not take the time to help me find a drink. I'm very disappointed.Dietary restrictions: The cashier did not take the time to help me find a drink that fit my dietary restrictions.“

“I just have to say that the drive thru crew went above and beyond. This particular day the wind was really blowing and when I was handed my change a $1 bill flew off into the wind. I was ready to chalk it up to "that must be meant for the person who finds it", but ?! The sweetest young lady went outside and picked up the $1.I said it was not necessary but they went the extra mile for my $1 ?Well at that point it actually became her $1 for all the work she put in...and she also gained a regular customer ?Thank you for going above and beyond!“

“Went thru the drive thru and ordered surprisingly to the first order box, the second seemed to be held up by another driver who couldn't decide, I pulled up behind them ten minutes then waiting another five because they blocked the drive thru, but otherwise we received our order with everything I had ordered. ?“

“I found out about this place because of the All American Rib cook-off in Auburn and I was excited to see they were located close by in Roseville. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Their food is top-notch too. It's my favorite place to get wings because they are never scrawny and the lemon pepper is fire. The ribs are always fall off the bone and delicious. The mac and cheese definitely lives up to being cheesy. The potato salad is one of the best you can get! I got to try the donuts for the first time and ate them all before I even made it to the car.“

“I attended a private event at The Classy Hippie and was absolutely amazed at the knowledge I gained about the healing property of tea and even how to pair it with foods, who knew? Leo, the owner was very knowledgeable about the different properties of tea and shared a wealth of information on the subject. I'm not usually a tea drinker, I prefer coffee, but afterwards I purchased several blends of tea and will be enjoying it more often. Thank you Leo and Rico for hosting us. PS Leo I'm still waiting for those recipes. ?“

Immortal Cafe & Supply Cafe • $
1111 H St STE 102, Sacramento

“The ambiance of candlelight, bright artwork, and metal music playing at a conversational level was enough to make me stay. But throw in a very vegan-friendly menu and delicious coffee and I'm swooning. This very solid first impression of Immortal Café included an oatmilk latte with Demerara brown sugar "fancy syrup" and it was quite good. I'd recommend you try it if you're down for a hint of sweetness. It was evening when we stopped by, so the food options were small bites and shareable. I tried both the potato chips (yum) and the Bertie, which was a truffle-infused fermented cashew cheese (double yum) accompanied by a seasonal preserve and crostini. The seasonal preserve was a candied orange marmalade, which elevated the whole pairing. So much deliciousness. The place is small and in a funky converted motel on the edge of Alkali Flats. I wouldn't bring a large group since the interior is more like a bar with some small seating arrangements. It is dog-friendly though with a couple of exterior tables. I'll be back to try out the Saturday vegan brunch for sure.“
