She has great recommendations when I don't know what to order. All the drinks she has recommended me have tasted amazing and have great textures, especially when it was my first time trying boba! The manager is really nice as well but for the times I have come, I have seen Angel more. The sunright fruit tea and brown sugar boba milk are both great drinks. The honey boba and brown sugar boba are my personal favorites. They have pretty good jasmine tea choices in general. I have yet to try the rest of their menu! The drinks are made pretty quick depending on how many other orders need to be made. It typically takes around 5 minutes and 10 at most. Stale bread, cooked the nights before or shipped in on trucks and stored in freezers, full of low quality grains and almost flavorless by the time its put onto a sandwich. I feel like we've become accustomed to bread just kind of tasting bland.But here bread was fresh, and full of strong flavor. Not all breads are pastries but all pastries are breads. Whatever... that said i will add that many donuts are less like the typical delicate pastry and more like fry bread with frosting... grocery store donuts for instance... or krusty krab sugar bombs. The donuts at Dragonfly transcend the fry bread with frosting by several levels. The shop is spotless and uncluttered with smiles for everyone. My new fav!!“

“I was on my way home from a sporting event with my dog and it was quite the warm afternoon for mid-March. I figured, what better way to quench my thirst than a drink from a boba shop? I looked up boba spots from the Rosemont to Rancho Cordova area, and honestly there aren't many in that side of Sacramento. However, I came across Dream Tea and decided to try it out. Dream Tea is located in a quiet strip mall by a Dollar Tree off Bradshaw and Old Placerville Rd. When I walked in, it was quiet and modern, with fun neon lights decorating the interior. The menu items are displayed on TV screens, and I decided to get their butterfly pea flower passionfruit tea. I always opt for light ice and either 25% or 50% sweet when I order boba, and for this drink I asked for 50% sweet and light ice, which they were able to accommodate. It didn't take long for my drink to be made, and I'm glad I was able to order first, as a group of people came in right after me. This drink comes in one size, and is honestly a really good size considering how thirsty I was (water just wasn't cutting it for me that day). As another review mentioned, it is a large cup and only one size, so if you're getting another drink that isn't just fruit tea, such as milk tea, it will be quite a large drink, but personally it was the perfect size for me. The passionfruit tea was the optimal amount of fruity and sweet, especially after I mixed in the butterfly pea flower portion of the drink. I personally would have liked more passionfruit seeds as I enjoy the texture, but that's just me being picky. I didn't get boba in my drink this time as didn't feel like it, but I would like to try their other teas next time and add boba. Overall, I'm happy that there is a boba shop in the Rosemont area, and will be back.“

The coffee and pastries are delightfully good, boasting Chocolate Fish coffee. There are some different types of lattes than I’ve seen elsewhere and several seasonal specials to choose from. I ordered a Baklava Latte and a lemon blueberry muffin (recommended!). I don’t live over in this area, but I’ll make another trip to The Grove for sure! “A cute spot we decided to check out when we picked up our pottery a couple doors down! Plenty of parking in the shopping center. There was nobody in line so we were able to walk right up to the counter to order. We decided on Thai Tea with boba and the Ladybug drink without boba. Both are very delicious, the Thai Tea being as expected although some of the boba was a bit harder than expected. I didn’t know what to expect with the Ladybug drink as I was looking for a low sugar option. It’s yummy, I got the lesser sugar option as the zero sugar option would have been more tart than I probably would have liked. The drink lady was very nice and knowledgeable about the drinks and how they might taste if less sugar was chosen. All the mango drinks were going to be sweet because of the premade mixes so I didn’t get any of them even though it’s exactly what I wanted! I’m satisfied. Our drinks were refreshing!“

We liked most of the baked goods so I came back for the tamales 2 hours later and Im glad I did. They were hot right from the steamer. They only had pork but thats all I wanted anyways. If you like tamales with more chunky meat to masa ratio like me and a little spicy then these are perfect. I added a couple of there salsas to amp up the spice and I was vey pleased. (Huckleberry, Strawberry and Peaches) My hubby got the stuffed french toast with Huckleberry sauce on the side. And I ordered the Cajun Egg Benedicts with "crispy" red skin potatoes. Our waitress recommended to get the crispy potatoes and it was so delicious. The service was amazing from beginning to end. Very friendly staff and they were on top of everything. I ordered the seasonal Shamrock Kicker this morning (Friday) and noticed when it was being handed over that it looked lighter than normal. Even the broista was like, "are we sure this is it?" We shrugged it off since it was confirmed that it was mine. I got to the light and had my first sip- something was off. It was not blended, it was chunky... So weird. I hated being *this* person, but I got back into the line and expressed my concerns - that I have had the shamrock kicker before and it was usually darker, not chunky, and tasted amazing. The guy (who originally took my order) agreed and said "oh yeah, that doesn't look right. Possibly the carburetor." I apologized being *that* person, that I usually wouldn't get back in line for something so ridiculous and he laughed it off saying, "no problem at all! We WANT you to enjoy your drink! Especially on a Friday morning!" I was pushed back through the line and met with the guy in the window again and got a brand new drink, handed back in the old... The new drink was PERFECT. What stands out about Faria is they make their own bread with stone-milled flour. The ingredients are sourced locally. The food tastes great! The restroom is not inside the bakery. Rather you need to walk inside toward the steakhouse. The downside is they close early.“
