“We were in town visiting family and stopped her for a coffee but ended up sitting and hanging out for a bit. We ordered macarons to enjoy with our coffee. The woman working was very friendly. I even took a bag of beans home. Hard to find light roasts sometimes but they had one and it was tasty! I would hang out here if I lived in the area.“

“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.“

“We live near Denio's and will walk over to take the tour and buy fun and yummy things and then walk home. Once we ran into this coffee stand and ordered the Aztec coffee and got to talk with the owners. The coffee was delicious and the owners are so nice! We went today and got a churro frapp and the strawberry energy drink. And again, the owners and the lovely young woman who took our order (i failed to get here name) were again so kind!!!! We went only for the drinks and left with only the drinks. We can't wait to come back!!!! Find them if you go!!!!!!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. My only complain honestly…is that there are not enough locations! I live near downtown Sac and wish I had one closer! The drinks are always amazing, you customize sweetness, ice etc. Friendly people, you are always greeted with a smile and super clean bathroom! Haven’t had the pleasure of trying the food hopefully soon. Highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.“

Coffee was kind of bland, no real notes. Friend had an espresso and obviously was a single shot but staff tried to claim double- initially they disputed and though it was not measured out - I am certain it was a single, ?owner was asked and without a flinch he said to give another which I appreciated.

Surprisingly they serve non-halal, pork items.“

“my adult son and I just walked in, sat down and we were going to order food for both of us and my son had a tea in hand and I had a coffee, we planned on being there for a while and poetically would have gotten drinks at some point. A tall skinny guy says to us across the room, you can't bring drinks in your have to leave. I said we were going to buy two meals, he says "doesn't change the rules!" in a snarky tone! Customer service is everything, does it really hurt anyone that we had a coffee and tea in hand? They just lost 2 meal purchases and now we will never come back here and when one person has a bad experience generally they tell about 24 people in general conversation. “I love going here, i'm here at least once a week. They offer nostalgic Filipino street foods and many other Filipino comfort food dishes. My only comment is that when you purchase a rice meal from them, the portion size of the ulam (the meat) is small for the price, it's mostly rice. i saw this in the adobo (both pork and chicken and the sisig dishes. Other than that, their drinks are pretty good. I'll definitely come back every week but maybe just to order the snacks and drinks.“

“I'm a huge Peet's coffee fan. The staff in this Peet's can not be bested. Fast, very friendly and competent. This trip was a quick brunch comprised of a latte and crispy ham and Swiss. I thought it was excellent albeit modest in size.

“I had one of the best coffee experiences here! The coffee was absolutely delicious rich, smooth, and perfectly prepared. It’s honestly one of the tastiest cups I’ve ever had.
The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff made me feel comfortable right away and were always smiling and attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.
On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the drinks and the service. The atmosphere is also cozy and relaxing, making it a great place to sit, unwind, or even get some work done.“
