“Every single one of the delivery items I have ordered from this restaurant in the past has been absolutely excellent. Because of those great experiences at home, I was incredibly excited to finally come out and dine in person today. Right from the start, the visit went smoothly. The dining room was visibly clean and well-kept, and the staff provided good, welcoming service from the moment I was seated.

For my meal, I decided to try the Cajun Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The kitchen nailed the execution on the eggs—they were done perfectly. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the inclusion of savory Andouille sausage was a great addition that brought the whole dish together. My only single criticism of the main plate is that the sliced tomatoes could have been a bit fresher and more vibrant.

Thankfully, the accompanying sides were just as enjoyable as the main event. The sourdough toast served as a great, simple base that worked well with the Benedict flavors. Additionally, the side of roasted red potatoes was very good, cooked to a nice texture, and well-seasoned.

Bottom line: transitioning from a delivery customer to an in-person diner was a huge success. Thanks to the clean environment, good service, and high-quality breakfast plates, I will definitely be back for more dine-in meals.“

“I base my sandwhich love off of fresh snappy ingredients. I ordered the croissant special and everything from the lettuce to tomato was crispy good. Great ratio of condiments too. I got the potato salad as a side and was pleasantly surpised with the added garlic, I do love me some garlic! A side note though, this spot is in a large office building on the first floor. Do a little exploring at the front entrances, you'll get there.“

“Pleasantly surprised all around. Waiter/hostess Tammy interact with us as if we were family.. even though it was our first time!! Graciously served us.. always attentive.. the breakfast meals we selected were delicious.. kitchen staff aided Tammy as to bring out meals!! “What a small, cute diner this is. Meet a friend there, our half way point between south Sac & Roseville. We both were greeted promptly & seated right away. We both ordered the waffle combo. Waffle was golden & delicious, bacon was cooked crispy- yum! My medium eggs were cooked just right, Great breakfast for my friend too, she got her bacon extra crispy, got a nice mound of scrambled eggs and enjoyed her waffle as well! I can't believe that I haven't tried before today, but I will be a returning for sure! Also the service was excellent!“

“Such a gem. I came in looking for somewhere to sit down and get some work done, and ended up having such a genuinely lovely experience. The food was phenomenal, the coffee kept coming, and the cozy little lodge atmosphere is immaculate.

Leslie was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I sat down. She made me feel completely comfortable staying and working, asked me about my music, and even put some of it on the TV 😭. Just a genuinely warm person who made the whole experience memorable.

“Our amazing server, Jesus, greeted us with upbeat energy and smile! Thorough, helpful and attentive! Biscuits with gravy combo and berry crepe combo were delicious. Fresh fruit bowl had ripe, sweet pineapple. It is rare to have perfectly ripe ones in restaurants. Jesus warned us before he went on a break. Other staff members readily checked on us.
