Tasty Pot & Ace Creamery offers really good hot pot and amazing ice cream flavors. The Roseville location is in a nice, quiet, and safe place, part of a strip mall. The hot pot is good with multiple options for veggies or meat, and the soup is good, though it could taste a little better. The creamery is delicious, featuring flat rolled ice cream made in front of you, like the Oreo topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips—definitely kid-friendly. The sizzling noodles are the best thing ever. However, service has been a concern; staff have been on personal calls, not attentive, and orders have been slightly incorrect, though fixed. With only two tables in use and four servers, customer service should be more attentive. The restaurant is clean with tidy tables. There are inconsistencies between locations, like dipping sauce for popcorn chicken or dim sum menu availability. At Roseville, the dim sum is too expensive for small portions; braised chicken feet lacked flavor and were too tough. The music, Bruno Mars songs on loop remixed EDM style, felt out of place. For a party of three, the bill was $91 after a 10% cash discount, without drinks. Focus on the hot pots, not the dim sum.
