“They go for the broadest appeal with their extensive menu. I enjoyed the meatloaf but the rest of the party was lukewarm about their poke bowl, burger and chicken sandwich. Lazy Dog would benefit from a more focused menu. The red ale was good.“
“Had the beet salad, delicious and presentation amazing. Friend dining with had shrimp added, huge and she said delicious. Enjoyed the brussel sprout appetizer, also very good and generous portion. Had the bacon on side since vegetarian.Vegetarian options: Anything can be altered to vegetarian. We had the brussel sprouts altered, they were amazing.Pizza and other options.Parking: Parking available within the plaza.“
“Just got some pizza and wings, and they're great! Everything was hot and fresh, wings are crispy and flavorful (I'm still eating them, lol, but I wanted to write a review while it's fresh in my mind); I'm trying the buffalo and the Louisiana rub, and I love them! I've only had one piece of the pizza so far, but it's delicious! Love the crust, I'm a big fan of Detroit style pizza. Only problem, they forgot the ranch. Which isn't a problem for me, but it is for another member of the family, plus we paid for it. I'm not going to hold that against them, though, because 1. It's Superbowl Sunday, and 2. They're brand new, and opening a restaurant is chaotic no matter who you are (it's not an easy business!) Anyway, we'll be back again for more deliciousness (and thanks for the cookies! What a nice touch!)“
“This is a really good venue if you're planning an event. They care about their customers. They are very flexible and would customize the package according to your needs. The banquet director Melanie is AMAZING!!! Her leadership is just incredible. When things didn't go to the right direction as we expected, she took responsibilities and stepped in to get things right. She's not just doing her job right but beyond. I think it's really hard to find an event manager like her who cares as much as she does and genuinely wants the best for the clients. We LOVE her!! She's the gem of this venue!“
“Excellent place to grab a meal with friends or family. The service and staff were friendly, the food delicious and large portioned, and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was comfy mixed with a little retro. Very fun. You should definitely give it a try.“
“Tried this place for breakfast on a rainy Sunday. The food was very enjoyable with reasonable portion sizes (more than you should probably eat in one sitting but not a crazy amount of food). Their staff was definitely busy as well. They were still kind and attentive enough. Late Sunday morning breakfast/brunch in Rocklin is quite busy (generally speaking) and this place is no exception. We arrived at what felt like, right before the rush. Because of the rain, their patio seating was not open and so this probably helps explain why they were packed already. My one complaint is that the hosting area and getting your name on a list for a table was a bit confusing. This wasn't just me and I observed several customer who had the same confusion. Since there is not really a waiting area for seats, people were standing in and around the door (because they didn't want to stand outside, understandbly). I don't know how they could solve this problem since it just seems like they are already doing everything they can with the space.Food was well seasoned and the breakfast potatoes are really yummy. I always have a tendency to order things that are on the menu but then customize them pretty wildly. Our server didn't even bat an eye and was able to handle my request with ease. Omlettes are excellent choices here and while my wife and I tend to enjoy savory breakfasts more than sweet, we did observe other patrons who were enjoying sweet dishes as well. For our respective breakfasts, the food here tastes less greasy (generally speaking) than a lot of other 'hearty breakfast diner style restaurants. For us, that is definitely appreciated because you feel like you can eat a properly seasoned meal and still have energy to do things for the rest of the day.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and experience and I think Hot Off the Griddle will make it into our rotation of breakfast haunts in Rocklin. Just beat the Sunday morning rush.“
“Caution ⚠️ the mild is HOT ? & the HOT is the devils! ?. For the majority of people the mild will be the ideal balance between flavor & heat. For the brave souls who dare to try the hot & up! God bless lol yes the hot is only their mid level. They have 2 levels higher & the last one you have to sign a waiver!? all in all the food is definitely delicious! The fries are amazing! The Mac & cheese is MID nothing special but the sliders & the rub (medium) is smacking lick your fingers good! Didn't try their slaw.“
“I'm embarrassed to say this but I grew up in Orangevale and this was my first time here! And all I can say is WOW! I have been missing out! Maria was our server and she was amazing. So nice and attentive. Great service. And the food? I can't find a monte cristo anywhere. It was soooo good! Prices were great and you get so much food! We will definitely be back!“
“I had the fortune of stumbling upon this little gem. When we came in we could hear somebody singing from the kitchen it was really cute. The bartender created a seasoned and very down-home vibe. When I mentioned my liking for IPAs, he recommended one that I might enjoy. I asked about getting some corned beef, the chef personally came out and said he would make me a side order, even though it's typically not served solo. The pub has a super accommodating, old-school, down-home vibe with a modern upgraded look. I would definitely visit again. The corned beef was delicious, the beer selection was great, and my friend enjoyed a well-made Tequila Sunrise. Looking forward to returning soon. Although my pictures only capture the bar area, it was completely full, with a few couples enjoying lunch during our visit.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian salad options. Macaroni and cheese mozzarella sticks...“
“Only giving one star on atmosphere because it was the most ridiculously hot, uncomfortable, miserable dining experience we have ever had. Not sure if no AC is their thing or what, but they clearly had power when we dined there. We couldn’t enjoy our meal due to how suffocatingly hot the dining room was. That aside, the food was absolutely wonderful. But we are hesitant to return since our dining experience was truly the most uncomfortable one either of us has ever experienced. We just wanted to eat and leave as quickly as possible. But maybe that’s the point?Parking: You may have to walk a bit. Parking lot is plentiful, but close-up parking isn’t typical.“
