It's one of the best meads I've ever tasted! The owner is so kind and let me sample them before I bought a bottle. I bought one of the pomegranate and cranberry, so delicious! I am looking forward to blackberry and dragonfruit when available!
Strad Meadery is part of the Barrel District and must to stop by. We came by pretty late at night and it was empty but I guess it was pretty busy earlier because the Mead-tender had to bottle our mead fresh since she sold out of the bottles she premade for the day. I did get her name but the woman behind the bar was a delight. She offered so much knowledge of the process and was very informative. I've never had mead and found out it is fermented honey and more like a hard cider...read full review
