HITO YATAI is a unique sushi restaurant in Sacramento, offering a smaller menu but making up for it with chef specials and fresh fish. The fish served is of the highest quality, with one reviewer stating it's the best they've had stateside and comparable to what they've had in Hawaii. The omakase is awesome, and the quality of the fish is outstanding. The care put into the food and the explanation of each dish help customers walk away extremely satisfied. The specials even indicate if certain fish are in season or have recently arrived. The staff is so nice, and there is a family-like atmosphere. HITO YATAI is often running specials, so there is almost always something new to enjoy. Customers love the delicious and carefully crafted unique items on the menu, and the restaurant is considered one of the top Japanese food spots in the greater Sacramento area.
