“The meaning of teriyaki is, the teri means "glaze" and yaki "to cook or grill". The food arrived hot and fast. It's a blend of soy, sugar, ginger and juices brushed on grilled chicken or beef. The combination plate has a little bit of everything with rice, a small salad and thick noodles. The teriyaki sauce is delicious, it wasn't too sweet. The customer service was short and to the point. I would recommend the employees engage with their customers and ask if they have any questions. It's not a great date spot since it's in an odd location off the freeway. It is the perfect spot to get your teriyaki and sushi fix. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY“
“This is one of our favorite poke spots. When we are in West Sac, we always make sure to stop by. They always have fresh fish and fresh toppings. The service is always great and friendly. They make sure to give you enough toppings and are generous with everything. It is a little pricey, with a large bowl being around $20, however it is worth it. They have a great location and clean store. The tables are always wiped and the bathrooms are clean. Again, great and fresh poke with a lot of options and great service!“
“Good food, friendly service! I've seen a fair amount of I Love Teriyaki locations in the area and lived a few blocks away from their Midtown location but never visited. After years of them being on my radar, I visited the West Sac location off of Harbor and it didn't disappoint.I arrived just a bit before 6 and found no one else there. Despite it being in a pretty busy shopping mall with lots of other businesses around it, I was able to pull up and park directly in front of the store. From there, I went in and found no one inside. I was able to look at the menu at my leisure and when I was ready, there was a bell to ring to order. An older, friendly gentleman popped out from the back and took my order and then proceeded to make it. Looks like he was the only one working at the time, but he did a great job!I went with the deluxe combo, which included three types of meat and then rice and veggies. Looking for variety, I opted for sesame chicken, calamari, and teriyaki pork. It was super affordable at $14.99 and I added on a fountain soda with it, where I opted for a Diet Pepsi. They also had bottled options like Gatorade, tea, etc.I sat down and the solo worker went to work, as I watched him bring out the calamari to drop in the fryer. Despite him being the only one there, the service was fast, and I had my meal in around 5-10 minutes. He brought it out in a take out box, which I was thankful for, as I ended up not being able to eat it all while there.Onto the food! The sesame chicken was breaded and fried. Savory, a lil sweet, and tasty. The calamari was a little chewier than I would have liked but decent portion sizes. My favorite was the teriyaki pork, which was a great combo of sweet and savory and had a really great marinate to it. Lots of fatty, umami flavors there. Would definitely get the pork again!I ate about half of it there and took the rest home, where I enjoyed it later that night as an almost midnight snack. Food was good and the man working there was very friendly. I'd definitely be back - especially for the price!“
“Once again stepped out for my daughter’ss 28Th birthday and the service at this place is incredible!! Our server never made us wait was very helpful knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for our dining options. The atmosphere was amazing drinks and food was delicious ?“
“Fresh sushi with good quality ingredients. I got take out from here, so I can't say much about the service but the packaging of the food was beautiful. The presentation definitely shows the care they put into their food! We got two rolls and the chirashi. The fish tasted very fresh and good quality which is hard to find in Sac. The rolls were very good as well, though I can't say they wowed me. Overall, I think the quality of the fish is great but you are paying for it with the prices.“
“It was a neat experience to come here at Oto's, I really like the food they have here and the ingredients I plan on making, which makes me think of Uwajimaya in Oregon. I got to speak Japanese with one of the cashiers, her name is Chiharu, and she's really good at her job. She's kind, polite, and able to speak to you in Japanese. Overall, it's a good place to go shopping. I would love to come back here again.“
“Great Casual Dining Spot. I came here with a friend after he had invited me to eat at this place. The staff were welcoming and they paid attention to me. The food was delicious and portions served were filling. You get what you pay for here. The food was also served very quickly and it tasted fresh. My only complaint would be that it could get crowded but that's because this place is so darn good.“
“I am legit addicted to this place for so many reasons. First and foremost, the food. It's always fresh and delicious. But, it's not just that - it's about the experience. It's never dull. Never a quite moment at the table where people retreat into themselves. It's the only place my teenager is 100% engaged with everyone at the table. No boring date nights with nothing to say. The 4 stars on service is only because sometimes you have to ask instead of being offered, but hey, it's an AYCE business, so that makes business sense, otherwise the staff is always warm and kind. Atmosphere is just meh, but you will be too busy engaged in whats going on at your table to care.Vegetarian options: Each AYCE comes with ramen, tofu, mushroom, carrot and leafy veg. There are several fish options for pescatarian. too.Kid-friendliness: great for grumpy teensWheelchair accessibility: ramp to restaurant and outside sidewalk seating“
“Excellent sushi. The sushi chef had 10 years of experience. You will not be disappointed. The floor is a bit sticky when you walk over it and the outside of the sushi display glass could be cleaned. Tried the Phoenix roll and the Crispy Crab roll.“
“The AYCE sushi at Raku Sushi is one of the best in the greater Sacramento area with a reasonable price.I have lunch or dinner here many times, and they never let me down. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.I love their sushi and the salads are excellent too. Don’t forget about the salads at the salad bar. It is self-serve for the salad bar items.Parking: Free parking lot with ADA parking availableWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly.“
