“Just made a stop here as usual and had 1 medium bowl and 2 large bowls, the owner greeted us as we walked in while helping a customer, he was very professional and treated us very well. I won’t go to any other Poki bowl place and I come all the way from Elk Grove just for the best service and best poki bowl. I recommend the place all the time, I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and have always been pleased.“

“This place has all you can eat sushi which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about it haha. But they have a lot more than just sushi! They also have cooked foods, appetizers, soups, and all sorts of interesting dishes. And to top it all off, they have a full bar with lots of unique and very affordable drink options! The service is pretty fast and the fish is actually pretty good for all you can eat. I'd definitely consider coming back again sometime!“

“Family friendly, dog friendly restaurant run by Dan and his family. Cozy and welcoming. The Unagi skillet is to die for - well balanced flavor and generous amount of unagi. The Okonomiyaki was super yummy. Love love the geso and karagee. Perfectly seasoned each bite and crispy. Our dog even got his own chef made food. Definitely one of the best brunch in Sactown. Will be coming back soon.“

“Newer place in Sac my sister wanted to try for her birthday dinner. She made a reservation for 4 at 5:30pm on a Sunday but when we walked it there were a lot of empty tables and we were seated quickly.
The uni pasta was super creamy and we ordered 6 different rolls which all tasted top tier. The presentation for the chef choice nigiri was stunning
For the amount of food we got the bill was much lower than I expected. We all walked out very full and happy — would recommend if in the area“

“Simply a marvelous surprise. Could well have been the tastiest restaurant meal I’ve ever eaten… it was that good.“
“Local grocery store specializing in local produce, seafood, and Japanese imports. The store provides many Japanese delicacies from sweet mochi desserts to rich and savory Kobe beef. They also offer bentos featuring salmon, mackeral, beef, and karaage. They also offer fresh, made-in-store sushi rolls. The bentos and sushi aren't available mainly on Sundays and Mondays but best to check with store staff. Which is very easy to do because the staff are extremely kind, helpful and always greet you with a smile.“

“The staff are very friendly and professional. The food is delicious. I’ve never been unsatisfied with a dish I’ve ordered here, and we probably go once a month. The Lion King roll and Crazy Roll are personal favorites. The agedashi tofu and bbq albacore are also quite good! The restaurant doesn’t have the biggest footprint so it can get busy and a little loud during peak dinner hours. However, if you’re going for lunch or early dinner then it’s a very nice and relaxing place to be.“

“This Ginza Sushi place is right in the middle of an area where you’d never expect to find a place like this but I’m SO glad we found it! 🍣❤️ The food and service were both amazing! We went during happy hour thinking the portions might be small, but we were pleasantly surprised the portions were actually a really good size, and everything tasted great! I’m so happy to know we have a place like
this nearby. Definitely coming back for sure! 🍣🙌“

“This was an impromptu stop. My friend and I were doing some trinket box treasure hunting on March 6th and got very peckish around 3:00 p.m.
We were by rice theory and my friend had said that he had tried it a long time ago somewhere else and was wondering if this was the same place. So we stopped in.
When we got there we were greeted by the individual behind the cash register and she asked us if we had any questions. We asked what were some of the more popular items chosen and she gave us a rundown of what people typically get. We did enjoy her because she was playful about buying basically a handful of items to give everything a little bit of taste.
We decided to have the RT roll, spicy tuna salad inari, and the tuna egg salad.
While we waited we checked out the rest of the store which was super cute. As you could tell with some of my pictures they had some really cool items for purchase near the cash register that were connected to chinese/lunar New Year. And there was all these little designs throughout the shop that were just so playful and fun. The space itself was not very large but definitely comfortable. There was music playing in the background and it was just a nice space to casually be in and enjoy a nice moment with friends.
The items we got were definitely delicious great flavors, not overly spicier creamy, and the vegetables added into them were definitely fresh because they had a nice crunch to them. I want to definitely go back and try the rest of the food there because again what we had as a snack was definitely yummy yummy yummy“

“Got the super star roll, hand roll, and mix tempura. Sushi was very good, especially the hand rolls. The sushi rolls had a perfect rice mix ratio and it was delicious. The mix tempura was just ok. Tempura batter was kinda thick, hard, and too crunchy, hence the 4 stars. At the moment, Chef Frank is probably my favorite sushi spot.“

“Just finished lunch. Absolutely excellent. We started with the Mixed Tempura and the Pork Gyoza. My wife had the Chubby Andy roll and I had the Katsudon. The mixed tempura was perfect. The sweet potato and the kabocha are always the test and these were tender without being too soft. The gyoza were delicious. The Chubby Andy is a great roll. Huge flavor with a fantastic sauce. The Katsudon was first rate. This is the best Katsudon in Sacramento.
Thank you for making a casual Friday afternoon lunch a real treat.“

“We were visiting Sacramento for 1 day and saw the reviews for Sushi Cafe - so we tried it out - and we weren't disappointed. The sushi was very good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The only thing that disappointed was the Oyako Don - which was overcooked. All in all - this was a great find.“
“Been coming here for years. The owners are super nice. There are several business clustered together and sometimes parking can be a challenge. The teriyaki chicken is plentiful and cooked just right. I love their teriyaki sauce. Every place makes their sesame chicken different, theirs is thin and crunchy, seems like a pounded out fillet of breast. Plenty of tables if you wish to stay and eat, I usually call ahead for a to go order.“

“I've been coming here for over 16 yrs. I'll be very honest the only thing I order is the Bibimbap #17, no spicy. I just love the sesame sesame seed oil. The vegetables are gently sauteed in the sesame seed oil, chicken is char grilled for the prefect touch of smoke..they have some traditional items that look fresh and delicious.“

“Was hungry for lunch and had errands to run nearby (R Street). At first I scoffed at the price for a katsu sando bc $16 is a lot. When it came out, I saw it was worth it. Not because it's delicious--it is--but because it is a HEFTY sandwich. I ordered the Jtown spicy chicken. I ate half + half a cookie and was stuffed. I took the other half home. The little box it came in was heavy. It's a solid block of yum. I would definitely come back for a shared lunch next time. Nice staff. Sunny table. Great cookie. The black sesame miso chocolate chip cookie was amazingly chewy and beautiful. I'll be back.“

“Order and pay upfront, this place actually remind me of being in Japan. The chicken katsu curry plate full of sauce, interesting but not exactly our favorite. The ramen noodle was good, but the original ramen only comes with a big piece of pork belly and an egg.“

“Been coming here since 2014 and it taste Great. Every. Single. Time. I appreciate consistently and this restaurant never let's me down. I used to work near the area off of Industrial bkvd and used to come here with my coworkers back in the day (2013-2014). My favorite dish to this day is the Spicy Pork Plate. Years later and that has not changed. I have to admit I have not tried anything else on the menu besides my usual and cant speak on it but if its anything like my favorite dish I'm sure its delicious. Now lets talk about spicy pork plate. The plate itself come with salad, little container of sauce and pork atop of rice 🍚. The salad is fresh and tasty, pairs great with the pork and rice. The rice is delicious especially with the included container of sauce. The pork is perfectly tender, juicy, a bit of spice and sweetness. I literally close my eyes when I take a bite its so dang good! There is extra sauce available if needed. I usually add extra sauce to my dish. I like to call in ahead of time after work and pick up my order on the way home. If you dont call in and order in-person at the counter the wait (for the Spicy Pork plate) is around 10-12 minutes. The parking lot is a tad small but there is plenty of parking and there has never been a time where parking was unavailable, especially since there is parking around the corner as well. The name of the restaurant- I Love Teriyaki- sums it up for me. I've been coming here for more than I decade and hope to keep coming here for decades more ❤. Thank you.“
