“My family and I came for dinner tonight to celebrate a birthday. We came with two babies and the restaurant accommodated us with high chairs and great seating for our hibachi dinner. There were only 3 cooks and we feel that we got his full attention when he cooked for us and he was so playful with the babies. The food was tasty and flavorful and generous portions. We have tired a couple hibachi places and this place is my favorite now. I think pricing is fair for the entertainment and food we receive. The restaurant itself appeared clean and spacious for how many hibachi stations they have. We look forward to when we can come back again!“

“Very cute little store! They sell a lot of Asian snacks and goodies here, and they have a pretty wide variety for you to look at too! The prices are reasonable for the most part, but their instant ramen is definitely a bit pricier than most places. They're the only place in Davis that sells the instant hot pot kits for a reasonable price (~$10 last I checked), and those are a good treat on a hot winter's day! The store itself is also very well organized, and the bags that you have the option of purchasing when you check out are very high quality (reuse them as gift bags!). I'm docking a star just because some of the prices for some of their snacks seem a bit higher than they need to be. Also because they sell anime girl mousepads that seem out of place for an Asian snack store? Just a bit inappropriate and distasteful to me, but maybe I'm weird for not finding those types of mousepads fun.“
“Teriyaki chicken & tempura bento box was affordable and excellent! Also had the zigzag hand roll which I liked. My brother enjoyed his curry katsu special. Our server was very polite and attentive. The food came out on a robot we are def in 2024! Will be coming back here.“
“This is my third time here and I am so in love with this place. There is something for everyone in your group and the vibe is one of the best in Davis. Allen is always very welcoming and helpful with the menu and drink choices. You can tell he is very passionate about his work and that’s the kind of place I want to keep coming back to. “This is a great little place. The staff is friendly and attentive if informal. The value is really good and food usually pretty quick. Our kids like it. Lots of cooked and not so challenging options. My overall opinion of the food is that is passable and doesn’t disappoint but it’s not quite five star. However it’s also not expensive and some of the items are quite good. It is small so doesn’t hold large groups well and get there before the dinner rush if you don’t want to wait. “OMG! My husband and I randomly ordered lunch from this restaurant yesterday, and I think we are going to get it again today. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken, and (spicy) honey chicken. It was all so great! Honestly, I usually am not a big fan of Hawaiian bbq places usually - the flavors are usually fine, but meat quality poor to bad. That is not the case here!!! It was all fresh and deeeeelicious!“
