“First time here. Tried the all you can eat for $38 and thought that was a bit pricey but wanted to try something new. Confused why the rice had a purple tint to it. But all the rolls we tried were good. Everything tasted fresh and not over cooked. Really enjoyed the ebi and baked lobster roll was our favorite. Wanted to order more but our waiter wasn't really coming to our table had us waiting to order more. Store was clean and not busy when we went st lunch time. Will return

“I’ve been here probably 6 times now, and I honestly don’t understand how it continues to get better! Normally your first experience is great, and then it goes downhill from there. This last time I went was by far my favorite experience, they’re making the plates look more and more beautiful, and the taste of the rolls is phenomenal!!! “Aiko Sushi is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Ranch Cordova. The Sashimi and rolls are delicious, and the bento boxes are yummy and generous.

The employees at Aiko Sushi work hard to ensure that you enjoy the food and their service. The dining room is big, and I like the distance between the tables. The parking lot is clean and safe.

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

Nevertheless, despite initial appearances, the place felt almost like a hole In a wall type of establishment, the inside almost feel similar to a home as it is family owned and feels rather close to actual local establishments in Japan. 50% off sushi sounds too good to be true but the sushi is actually rather decent, though if you aren't careful you'd find yourself still paying for a hefty price (considering today's economy and all). Server was nice. Food didn't take long at all. Glad with the overall experience. The bathroom's also odd though cause it's locked oddly. You are prompted to knock before entering which is odd.“

Had lunch here with the husband and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. We ordered the chu toro carpaccio, house ramen, chicken katsu, fire dragon roll and double toro roll. The fish was fresh, the katsu was banging and the ramen hit the spot. I wished the toro was a little more fatty and my husband was hoping the ramen would be spicer, but both were still good. Come for lunch, which was when we came, to get their lunch special. A specialized lunch menu that includes 2 appetizers (smaller portion than regular), a main dish or roll, and a drink.

The service was great so we will definitely be back. They do offer omakase that requires advanced reservations, so hopefully we’ll get to try this out soon.“

Have been my go to spot ever since its been opened many many years ago and have been a loyal customer to this very spot due to their grear service, fresh food and flexibility with people who have restrictions.

I have digestive issues and am unable to eat most rolls requiring customizing them to remove things im unable to eat. I always call in to customize the rolls to avoid flare ups and sushi mon never disappoints, always do an amazing job at altering their menu to allow me to continue to enjoy sushi, bowls and the other few things im able to tolerate with my restrictions, thank you guys for being so flexible, will continue being a loyal customer.

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“
