Looking for a place to eat, and this one popped up.
So glad we went!! We had both hotdog and tots and both were amazing. The chili at this place is off the charts good! The dogs are big and flavorful and exactly as described on the menu. We topped the day off with a “pitching a tent” smore cookie 🍪 it ewie and gooey and everything you would expect from this place if I could give it more than five stars I absolutely would

Based on the reviews, Fat Dogs & Spuds offers yummy food, amazing service, and great ambience. The menu includes items like the rueben dog, windy city dog, Eddie's bacon wrapped with onions and jalapeños, and the bacon dog with grilled onions and jalapeños. The food is super fresh, with the perfect hot dog that is thoughtfully well balanced. The garlic tots are crispy and not at all greasy, and the chili cheese tater tots stay perfectly crispy even with the chili and cheese sauce. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is excellent, with helpful and friendly service from the owner. The staff provides friendly conversation and a warm feeling. The little cardboard sleeve that the dog is served in is genius. The chili has good flavor. The spuds are the best in town, and the best baked potatoes around. The pulled pork is even better. Everything on the menu is great.
