From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance — elevated but comfortable, with a great energy that makes conversation easy and the evening feel special without being stuffy. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — creative without being overcomplicated. It’s clear there’s real intention behind the menu, and everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. Canon is one of those places that works just as well for a professional dinner as it would for a date night or celebration. Incredible food, great vibe, and an overall experience that didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.“

“I’ve been to Urban Plates a couple times now and really enjoy their varied menu and delightful staff. Jasmine took my order at the counter and was friendly. Several staff checked on us to ensure our meals were good and cleared our plates when done. I like that they have healthy options, daily specials and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very modern and clean - great for a lunch meeting with colleagues or a group of friends.“

We split the poke nachos and onion ring tower, both were awesome, and cocktails were spot on too. Service was quick even during a busy dinner rush. “Was pleasantly surprised by all the food and drink options here! I didn’t expect so many Thai fusion dishes given the name, but I love Thai food, so I was definitely not complaining. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in, and On brought such a warm, positive energy throughout the night.

Our favorite part was how incredibly dog-friendly the patio is—they even served our pup a whole meal for free! 🐶 it looked yummy enough for a human to eat! The only downside was the mosquitoes, but On immediately brought us mosquito spray and a fly swatter, which was above-and-beyond service.

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“Swabbies was the bomb. It was terrific. Really like the atmosphere. The music is always on Target. Took my mom there. We had a blast. Had some cocktails. They weren't good too and service was nice. Parking excellent and handicap parking available as well“

“We arrived around 8:00 pm on a Sunday night. No dining service was available so we sat at the bar. A limited menu was available. We shared the meat and cheese plate, which was nothing exceptional. We were expecting more, based on online reviews, but perhaps we were there at the wrong time.“

I had such a great time at MIX Downtown! The rooftop atmosphere is amazing, the music was really good, and the whole place has such a fun and energetic vibe. It’s the perfect spot for a night out with friends, especially if you want to dance, enjoy good drinks, and have a great view of Sacramento. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere made the night even more special. Definitely a place I’d come back to! 🥂✨“

The water is okay it give distilled and smells a bit but I can still drink it. I would give it a 5 overall.“
