“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Was pleasantly surprised by all the food and drink options here! I didn’t expect so many Thai fusion dishes given the name, but I love Thai food, so I was definitely not complaining. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in, and On brought such a warm, positive energy throughout the night.

Our favorite part was how incredibly dog-friendly the patio is—they even served our pup a whole meal for free! 🐶 it looked yummy enough for a human to eat! The only downside was the mosquitoes, but On immediately brought us mosquito spray and a fly swatter, which was above-and-beyond service.

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

The burger was the best I have had in as long as I can remember. 10 out of 10! The pizza thought was a flop, literally. Stretched too thin and big outter crust. I ordered a pizza, not breadsticks. The bottom was paper-thin and the cheese and topping immediately slid off. Thr ingredients were awesome just not well executed. Service was great, not very busy on a Tuesday. “First time to your lovely experience! We were greeted, we were seated, and Hayley took care of all the rest! She took such good care of us, helped us determine the best choices for our evening. We decided to go with an assortment of the small plates, and boy was that a great decision! Everything was delicious, presentation was impeccable.
