“We had a work dinner at Canon in East Sac, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance — elevated but comfortable, with a great energy that makes conversation easy and the evening feel special without being stuffy. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — creative without being overcomplicated. It’s clear there’s real intention behind the menu, and everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. Canon is one of those places that works just as well for a professional dinner as it would for a date night or celebration. Incredible food, great vibe, and an overall experience that didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.“

“Great atmosphere, food, and service! I had the French dip, substituted the chips with their truffle parm fries. The French dip was good, but the truffle fries with their garlic aoli that is also made in house was delicious! I made the mistake to eat the truffle fries with the garli aoli first. Soooo tasty! I also added a side of the beet salad with goat cheese which was also a nice touch. So fresh! We shared the banana cream pie. It's a perfect size to have all to yourself, but it's a perfect size to share as well. Although you can order from the front counter, kiosk, or from your table, the food was served to our table very quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Shout out to Sawyer who made sure we received our complete orders and ensured 100% guest satisfaction. We'll definitely be back!“

My hubby ordered the burger and I ordered tge pork shank. OMG (GOSH!) it was exceptionally delicious and just plain good! We will return as this was our first visit. “So my husband and I came from out of town to come spend some quality time for our anniversary so our day didn’t go very well as planned except us coming in here for a amazing dinner the vibe was awesome our waiter Kyle was amazing very friendly and caring he’s a people person and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable so we ordered the rib eye dinners which were so delicious 🤤 then after Kyle brought us out a desert to share with happy anniversary on the plate this was the only part of our day that went well so big thank you to Kyle and Yard House we will def be back“

“Highly recommended! We tried several small plates and had cocktails. All were lovely. The Grilled Halloumi and Mediterranean Plate were exceptional and the owner came to our table to explain each dip and flavoring. The Filet Mignon Skewers were wonderful and the sumac spicing was nuanced and delicious. Flavors were balanced with salt and sweet, everything was delicious. The Negronis were excellent too! We will be back to try more.“

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“Pleasantly surprised with UoB! This was my first visit which was a retirement party for a coworker and this place was bustling! UoB staff greeted us, took orders promptly and efficiently, everything was delicious and correct, the vibes were really fun & I loved the semi private outdoor seating(trees/landscaping were blocking the public’s view). There was at least 50 of us at the party and another non related party occurred on the other side of the restaurant so I think it’s safe to say call to reserve seats/tables if you’d like to celebrate here. It’s not super large but I love the size of this establishment because it’s comfortable. I’ve been looking for more places that don’t break the bank while socializing and this is definitely one! The happy hour prices were amazing too! $10 for a smoking Old Fashioned, Raspberry Lemon Drops, Margaritas, food and more. And plus, regularly priced, those drinks were only a few dollars more so while happy hour was awesome, I won’t let that be the only time I come. This is one of those affordable places you can go to anytime. We thoroughly enjoyed the crab sandwich, the show for my husbands Old Fashioned and the positive vibes from Shift Lead On Y. She was awesome, her team was awesome, we had a lot of fun & we will be back! Bathrooms were super clean too! Thank you!“

“3/5 Tower Cafe is proof that if you put enough plants in a room, people will forgive a lot of culinary sins. It’s basically an off-brand Rainforest Cafe. The scenery? 10/10 immersive jungle clutter. The food? Let's just say the plants have more flavor“

“I have been to Hook & Ladder for drinks as well as dinner, and always had a good time. I can add brunch to that list. We made a reservation but there was only other group in the restaurant for most of our meal -- and I have no clue why. The food was wonderful. Our group's orders ran from a breakfast burrito and salmon benedict to pork belly hash and two-egg breakfast. Major thumbs up by everyone. Staff was attentive, personable and entertaining. At many of the other establishments we have gone to for brunch, we need to wait for a table since reservations aren't taken. If you don't want to wait, make a reservation at Hook & Ladder -- even if the restaurant is empty like it was for us. We will be back.“

“Super nice dining experience and a very beautiful restaurant! Easily accessible from the street. The food is delicious but on the more expensive side and the portions are reasonable but not generous. Overall a great place for date night. With tip I spent $80 for a mocktail, ravioli with added chicken breast.

The immediate area surrounding the restaurant was not super nice or walkable in my opinion so it's more of a destination and less of a night out experience.“

“I went to this venue for a large networking event. The food was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the space was very open. Different types of seating spaces were available for your desired level of privacy and level of music. The DJ was playing great music for dancing too.“

We had appetizers at a place that had catered more or less towards the lesbian community...they kicked us out. We stumbled into 4 for 5 more beer halls until we found what we believe was the Café Bernardo - R15 ...We were puzzled by the R15 as was everyone else, but they did have a great Filet Mignon Sandwich that was amazing to say the least! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s! and worth finding!“

“I had a great lunch today while I charged my car across the street. I was happy to find out they have gluten free buns that are also dairy free ( I think they were also egg free and soy free). And I was able to substitute vegan Gouda cheese for the regular cheese. They inquired about allergies and were able to clean the prep area to help reduce cross contamination, and read lables on rolls, dressing, etc. I am quite satisfied!“
