“The food here is unparalleled. The chef, Joe, has such an amazing palette. Every single dish is made with so much effort and intention. I’ve never had food with such diversity of flavor and depth anywhere else. My favorite dishes are the carrot three ways and the scallop ceviche. The menu changes with the seasons as the dishes are based on current fresh produce. The restaurant is decorated with a variety of art from one artist, which in itself is amazing. The focal point is the portrait of Joe’s mother, in the heart of the restaurant above the kitchen window. Joe really pours his heart and soul in every part of this restaurant, and it shows.“

“We hosted our end of the year celebration for the Junior League of Sacramento outside at the large table under the pergola. The weather was beautiful, the ambiance was serene and the aperol spritzes and the bubbly rose were everyone favorite. We made a reservation for 16 people and opted to work with Cheryl to order from the catering menu, which I highly recommend for a group this size! The food was exquisite and very plentiful portions! Thank you Cheryl and Betty team we had a memorable night!“

“My sisters were delighted to find this hidden gym in old downtown sacramento. This wineroom has a great selection and an ambiance that really stands out amongst the other establishments. We were quickly greeted and allowed to pick a seating area. The music was soft and they had an a curated wine list that you could choose from. We all chose a different wine flight to experience. The price is for the bottles of wine were very reasonable and I enjoyed that this was a locally owned and operated venue. I definitely enjoyed my wine flights and will be purchasing additional wine for my home. This is a great hidden spot that is a breath of fresh air from all of the other bars and restaurants.“

“We love visiting Vino Volo in terminal A at the Sacramento Airport. The food is better quality than any fast food nearby and who doesn't love a glass of wine before flying. “Have been here a few times now, and I’m so glad I have been able to check them out. This place is so beautiful on the inside, spacious (tables and bar seating, has lots of drinks and food options, and great service. I’ve tried their seasonal salted brown butter latter and strawberry spritz. The latte was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, and not milky at all. The photo may look like it was a lot of milk but once mixed the espresso was not overshadowed. The spritz was light and had a not-too-sweet flavor. My friend had the blood orange spritz and it was less sweet and more bitter. I have yet to try food so that’ll be my next adventure here.

During the day it’s bright and lively, and during the night it is a bit more romantic and intimate. It’s a great spot to either sit and read at, have a friendly lunch, or less formal dinner date. The staff were super nice and friendly, provided recommendations/suggestions, and are attentive. I definitely recommend coming and checking this place out!“

“I first came to this café because my daughter invited me — it was her favorite place for tea. After that first visit, we kept coming back together, and I completely understood why she loves it so much.
Later, I brought my husband here, and he loved it too! Now it has become one of our favorite spots. We often stop by for coffee, enjoy their delicious soup, and always order the mushroom toast — it’s so good!

“Highly recommended! We tried several small plates and had cocktails. All were lovely. The Grilled Halloumi and Mediterranean Plate were exceptional and the owner came to our table to explain each dip and flavoring. The Filet Mignon Skewers were wonderful and the sumac spicing was nuanced and delicious. Flavors were balanced with salt and sweet, everything was delicious. The Negronis were excellent too! “Our server, Brenden was great. The man read our minds, not once but three times throughout dinner. Now that's service! The food was good. I wouldn't say mind-blowing, but, hot, fresh and well made. The prices are high, so I kind of do expect mind-blowing. My steak was tender and perfectly cooked, but maybe needed a little more salt and pepper for my loving. The calamari and lobster mac n cheese were all our favs. The atmosphere is upscale with a casual feel and I love that mix. Overall, a great time was had. We celebrated my son's 18th bday, and his and my nephews graduation and the entire family left with smiles on our faces.“

“I flew out of Terminal A this morning and stopped by Taylor’s Market—so glad I did! I ordered a pork burrito, and it was delicious. One of the employees recommended I try an oatmilk latte with honey, and it ended up being the perfect pairing, so good!

The customer service really stood out as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Lizeth i believe that was her name based on my receipt. She made the experience even better with her great recommendation and positive attitude.
