Davis wine bar Wine Bar • $$
611 2nd St, Davis

“Cool spot, friendly, knowledgeable service, and good wine selection. Was going to just pick up a bottle of wine to go, but ended up sitting next a friendly patron at the bar, chatting and getting a glass of the Zinfandel blend from Lodi and then a 20-year tawny Port, both of which were really good. They have some seating inside and out. Definitely recommend.“

“My husband and I love coming here! It's amazing and I'm shocked at the bad reviews. I get the rack of lamb, and my husband does the scallops. They're truly chef's kiss!!! Our server was also amazing and we were seated in such a sweet little spot. It felt so cozy!!“

“If you want to enjoy wine with great customer service this is the spot. They have a robust selection of wine to fit every pallet including a great variety from the local area. For your non wine drinkers they also still do all the drinks such as beer& ciders. The highlight of the business is their wine slushies, easily some of the best you will ever try. What truly makes this place special though is the customer service and the many events they host. They are a true gem of the community and always have something going on to enjoy... Shot out to Pizza nights.Overall, a phenomenal Wine Bar that is a must visit if trying to enjoy wine and company in Dixon.Parking: Easy access street parking and lots behind the business for the business.“

“Please excuse me if my bay area is showing. My standards for cafes are crazy high okay. I'm rating Morgans Mill 5 stars because the staff do a great job of being friendly and down to earth. The nutella waffles are bomb and affordable. Seriously best waffles I've ever had. It's such a cool aesthetic looking place. The live music is fun and forms a nice intimate setting. The lighting is nice and not overwhelming.However. I cannot get any reading done here at all, ever. This place is cold, and loud. I wish they'd offer blankets or space heaters, and had more couches. Every single time I've come here they play loud 2010s pop music that blasts through my noise-canceling headphones. It is uncomfortable to try to live my small town cottage core cafe dreams and read classic literature when Britney Spears and Rihanna and Lady Gaga are singing about BDSM (I love my girlies but theres a time and place!) I wish they'd play something more relaxed. It's just kind of unfitting to the atmosphere that they clearly put a lot of effort and love and thought into otherwise. My avocado toast was not toasted so it was just cold sourdough bread with (a generous helping of gorgeous) avocado. The hot drinks (I've tried their lattes cappuccinos hot coco and matcha latte) are cute but weak and only served in mugs or glasses 50% of the time even when I state it is "for here" or request it. The green teas are served in glass presses which look soooo darling but lead to way oversteeped green and white tea because you cant take the leaves out. So they lose major points for that.As I said I think I have high standards and I dont want the staff to be penalized for any of this because they make this place worth it!!“
