“Recommended and did not disappoint! Sat outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food and fantastic service. We felt like we were in Italy for sure! Our party enjoyed clam and mussels appetizer in a potato broth, and roasted tomato bisque. For main courses we enjoyed lobster squid ink pasta, seafood stew and vegetable/ricotta stuffed pasta. A wonderful Sicilian Nero complimented the meal perfectly. The bread is delicious as is the gelato. I hope you relax and enjoy!”
“The Mustard Seed continues to be a reliable, well-run go-to restaurant. The food is good, the ambiance quiet and refined, and the service excellent. The only slightly negative comment I can make is that red meat dominated the short entree menu. It would be nice to have a greater choice. We had an excellent Apple Current Tart desert. Our highest recommendation for the Mustard Seed.”
“Great service and drinks. Loved every drink I got. The owner is super nice and professional, big thank you to them!! Bartenders are always nice as well! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.”
“Decently good pho place and potentially the best in Davis IMO. The ox tail was really treat and the iced coffee started off our day with a great start. Slight difference from other pho restaurants in which you order and pay at a stand first, then sit down. Overall decent experience.”

My Burma
“Great experience at My Burma. Only had to wait 3 minutes to be seated on a Saturday dinner. Drinks were a bit mellow (low alcohol) for the "golden pot", but the long island made up for it. The peppered beef was absolutely delicious and I'd really recommend it with the coconut rice.”

“Amazing sushi! Probably one of the best places to get fresh sushi at a decent price. Space is limited so if you plan on dining in be prepared to wait if you get there when they're busy. The food is worth it though!”
“Food was delicious. Two in our party had the Denver crepes. One had an apple cheese crepe. One had the Nutella crepe. I had to do an omelet because of my gluten issues, but they made it the California style for me. I'm a big fan of anything with sun-dried tomatoes in it, so that in the pesto along with the spinach and avocado among the other tasty ingredients, was delicious for me. Everyone else loved their food, too. Even the potatoes served on the side were being raved about. My husband joked he'd go back just for a plate of the potatoes. They were super busy when we went, but the long line to order moved fairly quickly and we didn't wait an unreasonable amount of time for our food. The order taker was friendly. They had two people come out to serve our food so we'd all get it at the same time. My only minor gripe was that if you wanted to sit in the covered outdoor eating area that was a little less crowded than inside, you (and the wait staff) had to go back out the front door and negotiate through the big line still waiting to get in to get to that part of the sidewalk. If this restaurant ever gets the funds to pay for a small side door for customers to more easily get to that outside eating area, that would make it just about perfect. But based on the food and customer service alone, it's nearly there already.Dietary restrictions: They don't do gluten-free crepes, unfortunately, but they will take savory crepes from the menu and convert them to omelets. You can also build your own omelets and crepes to control what ingredients you want.”
“If you like spicy food, you must go here! Always parking available which is helpful. A lot of people, so the service was a little slow. Great authentic Hunan style in Sacramento area. Really enjoy the large gallon size of water container at the table you get because you will feel the spice at some point.I recommend getting the eggplant with green beans ($14.95) since it very fresh, cooked nicely, not spicy at all. The spicy flounder fish ($24.95) is indeed SPICY, will numb your mouth but does go away, the sauce does contain a lot of veggie options such as bean sprouts, wood ear mushroom, king oysters which is worth it for portion size and ingredients in the meal. Dan Dan noodles ($12.95) were alright, just mixed in with diced pickled mustard greens. Overall, the food was spicy and fresh.Parking: Plenty of spots”

“First time doing an Omakase. It was a great experience. I love hearing the explanation of every dish, not only do you eat great food, you walk out with a lot of knowledge. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive.Lots of Sake choices.”
“The combination plate was excellent! I was skeptical in coming due to limited menu, but it was excellent. My husbands bacon burger was super good!!! Better than the Burgers n Brew.”
“Stopped by Tasty Gourmet after a long day skiing on the way back from Tahoe - easy to park, delicious Hong-Kong style pan fried noodle, very friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend for anyone coming through Davis! Family-friendly, easy to bring friends. Will definitely visit again.”
“My husband and I love boba and like to try all the boba places we find, but we have settled with Teaspoon as our go-to boba place in Davis. We have been happy with the flavors every time, and staff is always very kind and helpful!Highly recommend :)”
“I found Dah Bao when I was searching for something quick and easy to eat during my road trip. I ordered the pork bun and beef wrap. The pork bun was bigger than I anticipated, juicy, and had the right amount of filling! It is reasonably priced as well. It reminds me of the ones I've had in SF Chinatown. Beef wrap was similar to Chinese-style beef pancake but I did not love the sauce they used.”

“I really, really liked this place. Odd location, but nice atmosphere with plants. Super nice people. This is Persian food, lots of rice and meat. The nice people deserve six stars!”
“I just had to try the pizza voted Best in Yolo County. This pizza is amazing. A huge pizza, abundant with delicious toppings with a perfectly chewy while still puffy crust. It reminds of pizza the way it used to be made before the cheap chains took over. The people working were kind and energetic. They have a very clean, large dining room to accommodate a crowd. This place is firing on all cylinders!”
“Came for dinner while visiting some friends at UC Davis, and I loved it! We came around 6:30pm on a Saturday and were able to find a table for the 4 of us even though it was pretty full with guests. You order at the front by the bar and then seat yourself. They have a self serve chips and salsa bar, which was very tasty and kept us busy while we waited for the food, which didn’t take too long. The quesabirria tacos were delicious - melty cheese, tender melt-in-your mouth beef, and deeply flavored consome to dip it in. I also really enjoyed the Al Pastor and chicharrón street tacos - both meats were very well seasoned and cooked. Would definitely come back here again if I’m ever in the area!”
“Such a happening place! Real bakers. Real production of fresh goods. I’m partial to the pumpernickel raisin bread and the birdseed bread. I’m not a big sweets fan, but my family is! Love their coffee. So cheap, I don’t don’t have to spend my retirement for a cup of coffee.Parking: So much easier than parking downtown!Kid-friendliness: The staff is kind, and friendly and were very attentive to our needs. The place isn’t huge for “running around” but we were certainly welcomed! My grandchildren love all the breads and deserts.”
“I love to get one scoop with two flavors ($4.25) which is really sweet price. I really love going spring time because of the tea flavors like oolong, jasmine tea. There are also deals from Monday - Friday ranging from discounted pints to single scoops. On Monday's 5-10pm, single scoops is $3.25. The place is super vibrant with many items to purchase such as plushies, soaps, cards, etc. Expect waits, but the lines moves pretty quickly and there's a lot of variety of flavors to choose from. No seating indoors, but there's seating outside.Currently, ice cream bracketology is happening which is finding the new best ice flavor for this year. Customers get to submit new flavors a few weeks prior to bracketology starting. Two samples per person. I suggest you get a waffle cone (+1.75) because it's made fresh daily, I also get slightly larger scoops too. Make sure to grab a stamp card too if you go often!Vegetarian options: Sorbet”

“Nice chill Yogurt place. Not crazy expensive and they have a punch card. There is a wide variety of toppings with only a handful of flavors. I prefer to not have option paralysis, so having a smaller amount is something I actually prefer.”
“It leaves a dark chocolate aftertaste somehow. It tastes expensive. The seating indoors is not very communal but there’s some tables outside on the street if you want to face each other. Also the coffee cake donut was really good and we got it at 2pm - didn’t taste stale at all!!!”
“Really liked this little tap room in Davis (once I found it- it's sort of hidden in a courtyard next to a tennis shop). There's a small patio and a moderate sized interior with a small bar and some tables. Wood plank decor and a few silent flatscreens. Wish they would put sound on for ball games. Beers are good. They don't serve food but you can bring food in.”
“Teriyaki chicken & tempura bento box was affordable and excellent! Also had the zigzag hand roll which I liked. My brother enjoyed his curry katsu special. Our server was very polite and attentive. The food came out on a robot we are def in 2024! Will be coming back here.”
“This is my third time here and I am so in love with this place. There is something for everyone in your group and the vibe is one of the best in Davis. Allen is always very welcoming and helpful with the menu and drink choices. You can tell he is very passionate about his work and that’s the kind of place I want to keep coming back to. Best gyoza in town by far. Don’t stop at the entrees, get some apps! Squash fries are so good! The servers are very nice too. Good music. There is a new special every time we’ve been here and we have always left happy.”

“Seriously amazing dishes, quality and quantity are superb. Yum!! Have always wanted to come in here. Great sushi alternative with a twist. Let her know we'd never been there before and they will let you sample, just ask ? I went with the poke bowl with the salmon bomb and spicy garlic shrimp island style. Also tried the California bomb which is very tasty as well. We ended getting a tempura wrap to go for later and I don't even have to try it, I know that it's delicious . Definitely recommend ?”
“A really excellent little restaurant! I thought their hummus was delicious, as were their fresh pita breads. I had the chicken kabob on pita sandwich and it was really good! Easily one of my favorite Mediterranean meals I've eaten in recent memory, highly highly recommended!!”
“By far, the best burger I had in both Yolo and Sacramento counties! They are listed on the map under 2 names; the second one being "Tommy J's Grill and Catering"!”
“Amazing sushi! Probably one of the best places to get fresh sushi at a decent price. Space is limited so if you plan on dining in be prepared to wait if you get there when they're busy. The food is worth it though!”
“Coffee tastes good and service is good but you won't catch me giving some corporate entity a 5/5 because I'd way rather support a smaller / local coffee shop.Nothing against the workers here at this establishment, they do a great job, but I already know that they don't get paid enough by their corporate overlords and they never will, therefore I don't wanna support this business!”
“This tiny hole in the wall never disappoints! The pizzas are always tasty and ingredients are fresh! Their pastries are delicious, I recommend the cream puffs. Whenever I'm in the area visiting family, I stop by this place for pizza and pastries. I recommend this place!”
“The food is simple and delicious. The quality of the food is superb, very healthy for all groups. The chicken kebob is my favorite. Staff was awesome and very welcoming”
“This place was really good and for the price I would recommend giving it a try. I got the steak torta and fried chilies. Everything was good! They also have a salsa bar which is great because it was well maintained! The service was absolutely fantastic the girl in the front was really friendly!Vegetarian options: Tons of optionsParking: TONS OF PARKING”
“I like sitting outside, when the weather is warm and good. I went here several times, 2-3 occasions for beer or drinks daytime, 2-3 lunches, and one dinner. You can enjoy their drinks like draft beer or soda on the table outside between lunch and dinner time or on weekdays, as they are less busy. And they get you free chips and salsa. You can spend some great relaxing time, whle they dont offer happy hours. For lunch on weekends, their services can get slow, as I do not think they have enough number of employees/servers... you need to be patient sometimes.... bills for your lunch can be full $18-20 w/o tips, which is new normal these days. Their food quality is good enough to enjoy, not the highest quality, though. Overall, great place to visit for some decent Mexican food and some cold beer at the patio outside.”

“Particularly friendly staff. Food as always of great quality, their sauce close to mayonnaise is tasty. The location is very clean too and the atmosphere is great to enjoy a good brunet, French fries and a strawberry milkshake! Thank you!”
“A really cool brewery. It did not exist when I was a student, but they were super nice and the vibe was super chill. It is a great place for adults to go and try some beer. Will return the next time I am in Davis for sure.”

“Met up for a work dinner, atmosphere he was awesome. Place was pretty busy so service was slow, but the staff was extremely kind and professional. Food was good. I will definitely go back to try other things. Everything on the menu sounded amazing.”

“Calamari app is very good especially the sauce it comes with. Fish is fresh, the restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, lots of seating available. I would recommend the Japanese mafia and lobster mania. Both are incredible. A bit pricey. Although, worth it.”
“Thanks for your ramen. I tried it once, looked for something similar in my area, but couldn’t find it. This is what you have to do if you want to eat delicious food and drive 50 km to your place.”

“Pizza is good with decent customization options. The crust is folded over at the edge so even when eating the crust you get the sauce and toppings. Student discount is good too. Music is loud but that's expected I suppose.”
“The food quality is great..Ordered a Biryani, Thali, and mango lassi..The thali was great, lassi was average..Past experience of ordering Biryani has not been great in any restaurant globally (except biryani focussed restaurants) as they give you pulao in the name of Biryani.. it was same here.. anyways, the taste was good for a pulao..However, a major drawback is that they make you wait long before giving you the order..”
“Very kind servers and wonderful food. We also took 3 toddlers here and they loved their kids meal and ate it up, not to mention that they are very picky eaters. Definitely coming again!”
“Went for their awesome lunch deal (order any half a pizza, drink, and either salad/fries. Order at the register, get your number, and sit anywhere you like inside or outside. Their fountain drinks contain Coke-Cola, lemonade and my personal favorite, Ginger Ale. Ordered a Margherita piazza with a Cesar Salad ($10.23 with tax), got the food pretty quickly. A traditional Italian pizza with dough that was super light, fresh, and had some decent char. All the selection of pizzas is delicious, so no worry there if you are picky.A great place to hangout, watch sports, really great pizza!”
“Always a great spot. I have been going here since I went to Davis 20 years ago. While the structure and ambiance have changed, it is still one of my favorite breweries. The beers are just as good and the staff is still just as nice. I do like the new outdoor area.”
“As always, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very flavorful. I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. But I ordered the Fattoush and added the tofu steak and it was delicious. While the wine menu for glasses only is a bit limited, we did enjoy the wine we ordered. Thank you!”
“first time here and the drinks are soo good!! you order on the tablet and then they put ur number on a automated system that shows and calls out ur order number when it's ready”
“First time ever having a hot pot and I really enjoyed the Korean Army, crispy potstickers, salad sampler and Rose Green Milk. Atmosphere and staff were great as well. Definitely coming back!Vegetarian options: One hot pot dish with tofu available, salad sampler is all veggie too .”
“Food is cheap and usually very good. I’m a big fan of the salmon or the eel, on rice. Service is a bit inconsistent, in an oddly charming way. A bit like when you find a good eating spot while ”
“The chicken cutlet over pork gravy rice and the pork belly rice are very tasty! Their potstickers are plump, well cooked and the best in Davis that I've tried. They're the best place for Taiwanese ?? inspired dishes in Davis!”
“The experience was so good. This is for our second visit.Besides Nadia being amazing Antonio took good care of us at the bar on day two. Day one was Ester behind the bar and she made a mean lemon drop, so good! Again ask for Nadia as your server. This is the review we wrote for first visit. We travel a lot for work, so we are always looking for someplace new in the towns we're in so we decided to try out this restaurant. And very glad that we did.The service was amazing. We had Nadia, and she took very good care of us, she explained the special which I highly recommend. It sounds like they changed them often so if she's recommending it try it!About the foodAll of the sauces are made at the restaurant. I think the pasta with the special was also made there at the restaurant. It doesn't make sense for them to make their own bread or things like spaghetti, but everything else is made right there fresh.PricesVery reasonable if you're looking for something cheap, I'm sure you can find it at well nowhere these days post Covid but I'm sure you can find a Special at some nasty place that's cheap but if you want a good meal this is the place! When we originally walked in, they said we had a nice long wait, so the ambience was a little annoying because we had to around the corner from the bar. But the bartender was very nice and made us a great Leman drop. The place is pretty cool overall even though it took us about 20 to 30 minutes before we got seated we were not upset about that as a Bartender was super great.Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this place we will go there again!”
“First time coming here, there was no wait; we came on a Thursday afternoon. Immediately we were seated and it took us a while to order but the waiter was really attentive and asked us if we had any questions. I only ordered the chicken and pork skewers since I wasn't too hungry but I came with other individuals that ordered more. I like the concept of this restaurant, the concept isn't unheard of to me but I haven't experienced it until now. It took a bit for the meat to cook but since I wasn't that hungry I didn't really mind if it took longer. The meat was small but I expected that. Food was good, I liked the short ribs and pork the best. At first I wasn't too sure what was good tbh. I think something that they could incorporate is adding some sort of symbol next to menu items that are habitually ordered to let customers know which ones are good options. Would come back if I'm craving it but other than that it wasn't anything too special.”
“I ordered doordash for a night meal and this burger fulfill my heart and stomach very juicy, lots of meat, crunchy, cheese is so goodddd ? will eat from this place again!”
“Great place for lunch. Delicious sandwiches and really attentive service by the owner himself. Wonderful cafe to have a meal and relax.Dietary restrictions: They’re great about customizing your sandwich if you have specific dietary requests.”
“Cool spot, friendly, knowledgeable service, and good wine selection. Was going to just pick up a bottle of wine to go, but ended up sitting next a friendly patron at the bar, chatting and getting a glass of the Zinfandel blend from Lodi and then a 20-year tawny Port, both of which were really good. They have some seating inside and out. Definitely recommend.”
“Awesomeness between two buns.. the food was amazing, fun atmosphere, friendly staff and great service! Best French fries I’ve ever had.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are little tough of an angle to use wheelchair.”
“Very kind servers and wonderful food. We also took 3 toddlers here and they loved their kids meal and ate it up, not to mention that they are very picky eaters. Definitely coming again!”
Takeout Restaurants
“This place is the hole in the wall the excellent Mexican food you are looking for. Lots of locals and the hot sizzle grill invites you in. When you first step in you see masks of luchador and Aztecs warriors. It's cool. The people are super friendly too.”
“Teriyaki chicken & tempura bento box was affordable and excellent! Also had the zigzag hand roll which I liked. My brother enjoyed his curry katsu special. Our server was very polite and attentive. The food came out on a robot we are def in 2024! Will be coming back here.”
“Everyone at Root of Happiness contributes to the cozy, uplifting and entertaining atmosphere here. The exceptional staff headed by Lauren do a great job of making their regulars and curious newcomers feel welcome throughout the day.The drink menu here is very customizable, there is no shortage of unique combinations one could find here! The Kava bar hosts a variety of events that that are highly community driven, they managed to consistently provide these activities while also continuing to be a great study/meeting spot on any given day of the week.”
“We just recently moved to Davis and have been looking forward to eating at this cute establishment, and it didn't disappoint. We both had the Bacon BBQ hot dog, shared an order of chili cheese fries and had lemonade. The owner greeted us in a friendly and welcoming manner and we asked for suggestions in placing our order, and he was very helpful. The hot dogs were cooked perfectly, the buns soft and the toppings, perfect! The chili cheese fries were outstanding! As new residents to this friendly and vibrant town, we plan on supporting local businesses and this will be a regular lunch spot!Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and had plenty of room to place my order.”
“Enjoyed the Queens Tea , wonderful experience. Everything was delicious . Presentation and service were amazing. Will definitely be returning for a relaxing and elegant experience.”
“Bober never fails to have the prettiest decor, and this location is no different! Love all the cute murals and neon signs, so many photo opportunities. This is definitely a smaller location, felt a bit cramped inside especially with the location of the ordering tablets, if there's a line then it has to snake through the seating areas. If it's nice out, you can sit outside at the tables or in the grass area. I picked a jasmine green tea with chizu add-on and it was refreshing! 50% sweetness was perfect without it being too bland. Definitely a solid boba option in downtown Davis!”
“Favorite boba place in town hands down!!! Definitely the best bang for your buck as most come with boba or jellies already. Their tea slushies are my favorite drink! They have the perfect tea and fruity flavor combination. And the staff is always super helpful, friendly, and fast.Vegetarian options: Most drinks can be made vegan or are already vegan and they have fried tofu and the tastiest fries”
“I recently dropped by to try out a few dishes and was absolutely amazed by the innovative and distinctive flavors. Without a doubt, I'll be returning as soon as possible.”
“Calamari app is very good especially the sauce it comes with. Fish is fresh, the restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, lots of seating available. I would recommend the Japanese mafia and lobster mania. Both are incredible. A bit pricey. Although, worth it.”
“As a Davis native, I have seen the revolving door of restaurants coming in and out of this location at 3rd and G street. I don't remember trying many of the previous restaurants, but hope Pho Tasty is here to stay.My party got the Bun Rieu and two bowls of the vermicelli noodles, one with Chicken and one with filet mignon. Everyone loved their entrees, which were super flavorful and reasonably priced.I got the chicken vermicelli noodle bowl, and loved that they had condiments in addition to the sweet and tangy sauce to season the bowl (chili chunch, jalapenos in vinegar). Will definitely be back the next time I am in Davis!”
“This tiny hole in the wall never disappoints! The pizzas are always tasty and ingredients are fresh! Their pastries are delicious, I recommend the cream puffs. Whenever I'm in the area visiting family, I stop by this place for pizza and pastries. I recommend this place!”
“Yum! Got the cauliflower tacos with fresh chips & guacamole. This Austinite eats a lot of tacos, but Nopalito Taqueria’s cauliflower tacos have me wishing I could take them home with me. ?Vegetarian options: Cauliflower tacos”
“Awesomeness between two buns.. the food was amazing, fun atmosphere, friendly staff and great service! Best French fries I’ve ever had.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are little tough of an angle to use wheelchair.”
“The gluten free chocolate raspberry cupcake I got from here is legitimately top tier. The icing actually tastes like raspberry, and the cake itself was delicious and moist. The size of it was perfect, and the price was reasonable, especially compared to many other places that sell gf items. The service was really good, the cashier kindly offered to defrost it for me since the gf cupcakes are in a freezer in back. She was also just friendly in general and had great vibes. The place itself is absolutely adorable. Great colors and decor.Highly recommended. Thanks for the great experience.”
“Wow, stoked we stumbled on this place, in the middle of a long drive. Staff was so freakin cool, made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Top 4 sandos I've found in Cali, great beer selection, cool cool staff. I will definitely be going back anytime I'm even near Davis. Thanks! *If you're a sando freak and wanna know the other 3 sandos in my top 4 are High Street in SLO, River Shack in Eldo, and some brewery near the Costco in Santa Cruz”
“It's so great to walk into a familiar place after moving away from Davis for so long. Delta Venus is a staple to the Davis community, their food, drinks and atmosphere feel like a little piece of home... wherever you may be from. ”
“We ordered online for takeout, and it was ready as promised and given with a smile. Taste was great. It was kind of expensive, though, so this place is probably better for dine-in rather than take-out to justify that.”
“Yelp elite who lost access to her old account so I'm starting fresh! Gave this new chengdu style hot pot place a try & here are my first impressions: Broth: their beef broth is very spicy (even the medium was spicy). We initially asked for the spiciest level (level 3) but the waiter was very persistent on getting a medium. The Tom yum broth was a bit spicy but mild enough for me to enjoy as a non-spice person. The broth had good flavor! Sides: the veggies and meat are a bit expensive for the potions. If your are ordering the veggie platter it comes with 3 pieces of corn (something to note if you don't want excess corn) The service was really good & the workers were very nice. I would come back again!”
Cheap Eats
“I only had a latte. It felt kind of expensive ($ 7? something like that?), but it was really delicious! In fact, it was so delicious that I'm writing this review! Can absolutely recommend the coffe here! The view outside is also very cozy and invites you to sit down and enjoy your coffee there.”
“In the middle of Lake Street. Running Rivers has organic coffee in the morning with Village Bakery pastries, lots of outdoor seating and pet friendly. Going to come back later to try some wine.Parking: Lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids!”
“I Love, love, love this place! I love the menu options that el patio has. I mean davis has a small downtown area but they couldn't have chosen a better location. It is right across philz coffee and raising canes! My go to is surf and turf burrito! it is the best of both worlds. I love that they offer fresh chips and salsa, i mean what mexican restaurant in davis doesn't at this point. There is also surf and turf fries but i think i prefer the burrito version. I love that they are generous with their meat servings. I love how each bite equal parts, protein, carb and sauce! The chiliaquiles is also tasty. I think you can add chicken and I asked if I could add carne asada and they were able to accomodate that. can't go wrong with rice and beans tho! If you see a long line, scan the qr code and order online, I'm sure you will get your food much faster. There are plenty of seating options. you order first and sit wherever. No”
“Iv been coming here since 2014-2015 and its my favorite sandwhich shop ever. Iv lived in the bay area and sacramento/davis and out of everywhere theres no sandwhich like a zias sandwhich. Sure the wait can get very very long (waited in 40+ minute lines many times) but its still worth it and it doesnt take away from the 5 stars im rating it its worth the wait everytime.”
“Wow, it looks like it tastes so good and Riley williams professionally scooped it and had it ready for pick up and didnt even charge me. Would’ve given six stars but I couldn’t taste it cause covid so just five stars sorry”
“Excellent!! Good customer service, had a couple tacos. Carne Asada was very good, not over cooked, juicy and flavorful. The Adobado was very flavorful I would definitely get that again!”
“We got the beef burger and chicken sandwich with a side of delicious fries and white bean and kale soup.Best gluten free burger we’ve ever had.Very sweet service. It truly tastes like home made food. This is the place to go out to eat if you want something delicious but also healthy and nourishing. They also sell frozen foods to go.Parking: 2 hour free street parking”
“I have been eating out here since 2017 from San Jose when I visit my kids at UCD. My go-to items are chicken and snow peas, beef chow fun, and pan fried noodles. I prefer this food over what is available in the South Bay (San Jose) area.”
“BE AWARE: This place will make u bussssssssss. The Katsu will have you wondering, why can't I eat this in the morning, for my afternoon snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, late night snack. Tim's Hawaiian has changed my life. Waiting for my DoorDash order as I type this.”
“I probably use this Starbucks the most in Davis out of sheer convenience. I've found it to be speedy and consistent in its drink making! I've also encountered lovely staff here (:”
“my fav and one of my go-to spots in davis! the food is consistently so satisfying and the portions are so big. i don't think i've ever gotten something that isn't good (and i come here so often) ... i love getting the bbq mix plates, loco moco and tonkotsu ramen. thank you for always having me!”
“Cozy little shop right off the freeway with the best tasting, high-quality hand crafted ice cream I've had since I was a kid. Reasonably priced and wonderful classic flavors along with their own seasonal favorites (pecan caramel!). Definitely worth a stop!”
“Excellent food and service. Without a doubt the best chinese food ive had in this area. Absolutely delicious. We ordered one of the 4 entrée family meals (there is five of us), and it was more than enough. Large portions; plenty of leftovers. 5/5 stars.”
“Chill coffee shop in Davis. Brought my own cup in and tried the vanilla cardamom latte, with the potato burrito. Both were delicious. The latte flavor was subtle and smooth. They burrito is a good size to share with a friend.”
“Stopped by on the way back to the bay and I'm glad we did! Got my go to drink- jasmine milk tea and it was perfect. Got it at 80% sweet. There was a good amount of floral in the tea and the boba was nice and chewy with some sweetness to it. My partner got the mango green tea at 50% sweetness and I got to say it's probably the best one I had in a long while. There was strong mango flavor and ripe mango bits. The flavor did not taste artificial at all. Even at 50% sweet it was delicious. I usually like 75% but my partner likes 50% and it was still good! Would definitely be back!”

Seasons
“As always, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very flavorful. I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. But I ordered the Fattoush and added the tofu steak and it was delicious. While the wine menu for glasses only is a bit limited, we did enjoy the wine we ordered. Thank you!”

Nami Sushi
“This is a great little place. The staff is friendly and attentive if informal. The value is really good and food usually pretty quick. Our kids like it. Lots of cooked and not so challenging options. My overall opinion of the food is that is passable and doesn’t disappoint but it’s not quite five star. However it’s also not expensive and some of the items are quite good. It is small so doesn’t hold large groups well and get there before the dinner rush if you don’t want to wait. Overall I’d recommend it for a casual meal in a low key setting. A solid neighborhood jointParking: Never have to hunt. Always a spot. Many walk from nearby homes and businesses.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options. Very casual.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide unobstructed walkways with ramps and van spots up front.”

Paesanos

The Gunrock
“Gunrock is a solid place to eat with a casual and fun ambiance. There are games available making it a fun place to hangout. The workers were kind as well. Personally, the meat in the Quesabirria Tacos was too dry for my taste, but other than that, the flavor was really good!”

“This restaurant has the best service and food! We had all you can eat. We had several international students who were not good at English. The server was very kind and patient walking through the menu with them. The food was so delicious, and more importantly, it made our students so happy because the taste reminded them of their hometown! One of the girls said she loves sashimi back in her home country; theirs is one of the best she has ever tried! I love the eel over rice so much! It has the presentation and the taste! Fried oysters were amazing, too! Tender inside and crispy outside, perfect flavored. Definitely a go to place for a yummy meal and great time.”

“My husband and I love boba and like to try all the boba places we find, but we have settled with Teaspoon as our go-to boba place in Davis. We have been happy with the flavors every time, and staff is always very kind and helpful!Highly recommend :)”
“Drive-through coffee stand.Even though it was very busy and crowded, we used the TOGO cash register to order. At one point, I was about to be turned away because it was too crowded, but a quick-witted female staff member responded quickly and warmly and kindly. I was very happy that even my husband, who was not familiar with the language, responded with a smile and in an easy-to-understand manner, and it was the best service we had on this trip to America.”
“The pizza here is always so tasty! I love how easy it is to customize. The workers aren't always the most friendly, but I can tell that they must be stressed because they get a lot of online orders. I'll always choose this as my favorite pizza place in Davis, though!”
