“Distinctive & unexpected location but attractive, comfortable setting inside & out (we dined inside because too hot for the attractive patio during our visit but I imagine it would be quite pleasant in moderate & cooler weather). Menu offered nice mix of options & variety. We all enjoyed our meals. Our wait person was amiable, knowledgeable & responsive. Very likely to dine with them again!”
“Love the staff, delicious quality pizza, great place to hang when COVID is over.”

“You must try their UMe Coconut Cha Cha Bowl! It’s so so so good! I’ve only been in a few times, but the staff that I have talked to have been very friendly and provided excellent customer service! One thing, though. Please clean the glass on your door! It makes a difference to customers when the windows and doors and tables are all clean Thank you !”
“The service was a little slow due to short staffing. But everyone waa very kind and patient. The location is placed in a cute date spot where you can grab dessert, coffee, or go for a walk after.”
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“I loved the food here! I had a spam rice ball and my girlfriend got the Dubai chocolate croffle. They were really good. The workers were also very friendly and accommodating. The inside is very pretty as well! They have board games like Jenga, Uno, Connect 4, etc. for you to play while here. Im only visiting Davis, but I’d love to come back one day!”

“What feels like a local mom and pop shop serves quality poke bowls. Being that it’s in the middle of farm land has you question if the poke is gonna be good and it surprisingly is. Not your super traditional Hawaiian poke but definitely combines familiar flavors but also includes some Asian fusion.
The bowls are massive. The wife and I split one and is plenty of food for two. We picked a poke bowl with two flavors and choose a “loaded option”. The “loaded options” are preset toppings at a fixed price. We choose the tropical style, which includes: seaweed salad, cucumbers, surimi crab (imitation), wonton chips, avocado, masago, furikake, spicy mayo, and eel sauce.
The two poke flavors we choose was the spicy salmon (spicy mayo) and furikake bomb ahi (think sesame oil ish based).
Overall great food. It comes out fast. Interior is very modest and is a pick up and quick eat spot. Exactly what you come here for. They also have other things on the menu like musubis, sashimi’s, fried dishes, to try.
If we’re ever back in the area we’ll make sure to stop by.”
“The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The food was amazing, very flavorful, timely and good sized portions. The staff are the ones who truly make this a 5 star experience. They were very kind, knowledgeable and professional. Our food arrived in a timely manner and any questions we had they were very quick to answer. They were even able to answer questions about food allergens. I will definitely be bringing friends and family back here.”
“They’re so quick and the food is excellent. Any time friends or family come into town we try to bring them here for an excellent experience. Order the eggplant and green beans and the pork and cabbage dishes. Everything else is great too.”
“We usually eat brunch in the bar which has been great, with great service. But we recently ate in the dining room/patio area and it wasn't the best. The counter is great, they get your drinks right away, the fresh OJ is always delicious and their coffee is flavorful. Prices seem steep for what is offered. Example, I ordered avocado toast for $13 plus one poached egg for $2.50. Over $15 for avocado toast seems a bit much. Sadly, the toast was hard, under seasoned and underwhelming. It's disappointing to pay for something I make better at home. The cornmeal banana pecan waffle was yummy, but had a slight sour aftertaste. The French toast with seasonal compote is always delicious. My favorite brunch item is the salmon BLT.”

“Solid Italian food! Probably one of the best in Davis. Osteria Fasulo is up there, but Paesano is more affordable.
So for the price, Paesano's is what you'd typically expect. The service is solid, and the dishes are generous. Just know that sometimes the wait can be a bit long for weekends.
It's been a while since I visited, but it's rarely empty and the vibe is excellent and memorable. The spaghetti, ravioli, and salads are great- and keep an eye out on some of the nice seasonal dishes. Enjoy!”
“Wow, a nice canto/HK style restaurant in Davis! They moved to this new location (previously village bakery) and I got to try it this week.
Surprisingly delicious! I went to Tim's before they moved a few years ago and I didn't like it. But I feel like they are way better now. The steak and rice was super flavorful, and the price is quite good <$15. They also have a lot of to-go orders and they had a good number of people in during lunch.
A personal favorite is the bittermelon and beef. It was perfectly well done, and that's not an easy dish to perfect!
The interior is large and spacious and has nice decor. It's quiet and has nice modern feel to it. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but overall not too bad.
Can't wait to try their other dishes- but the steak (with black sauce) and rice is a must try, and also try the bittermelon beef! Enjoy!!”
“Coffee, ambiance and nut butter banana toast are worth a visit! I visited Cloud Forrest Cafe from Colusa on 2/7/2019 for ‘Coffee with Cops,’ which had a great turn out from law enforcement and first responders. I wish the Davis community had attended to support law enforcement.”
“This Indian restaurant in Davis surprised me in the best way possible. The samosas were so perfectly crisp they nearly made me emotional, and the tikka masala had the kind of flavor that convinces you to order extra naan you didn’t plan for. The staff were cheerful, and the whole experience felt fun and welcoming. A delightful stop that brightened my day.”
“Can't go wrong with a restaurant that's been a part of Davis since 1977! Family owned and operated through generations. Delicious dinner!”
Takeout Restaurants
“We stumbled in here for dinner after being nearby in Davis to take care of some business. Looked on Yelp and this restaurant had good ratings, so we decided to give it a try. Didn't disappoint as both the food and service were great. Luckily, we went early, so there was no wait. We started off with the Wonton in Chili Oil. These were really good - similar to a dish we get in Roseville at Uncle Dumpling. For dinner, we had the Cashew Chicken, Duck Fried Rice, and Beef Chow Fun. All very good. Our two servers were very friendly and food came out quickly. Definitely would eat here again when in Davis.”
“Nice hidden cafe serving good food. Braised pork belly bowl and popcorn chicken were great. The bowl portion was big and the meat and bok choy was soft and sweet. Popcorn chicken spice was nice and meat was juicy. I only got the 25% sweetness black tea and that was a nice pairing with the food.”
“Awesome experience today. There was a kids soccer tournament going on this weekend and when I walked in the place was packed. But Ravi and the other two employees were quick and efficient. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Thanks for the great service ladies!”
“This is a Davis go to! 10/10
Customer service, food flavor, portions, ambiance, pricing, and the overall quality is superior to other expensive counterparts.
Nami Sushi has a really unique anime/comic book theme that is different from any sushi place l've been to. From the moment you walk in, you're graciously greeted by the hardworking servers and cooks. Every time I've been here, the service and food has been phenomenal.
They have very fair pricing, even for their all you can eat (AYCE) menu. Their food is served fresh and is very delicious.
For my most recent visit, I ordered miso soup, spicy edamame, California roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and the Spicy 2 in 1 roll. All very filling, fresh and flavorful.
I highly recommend Nami Sushi in Davis.”

“I got the honey lavender + cookies and cream in the regular size. it came with a complimentary waffle cookie! the person that scooped my gelato made sure to ask for any dietary restrictions while taking my order.
the honey lavender was just the right amount of sweet, and reminded me of tea. I really liked it. the cookies and cream was about what you'd expect, so pretty good.
the cafe was pretty small, all the seating was outside at tables and benches. it had a window that opened directly into the varsity theater next door, which was pretty neat. the place smelled like popcorn :)”

“The sandwiches here are varies and creative. It's the various sauces and accoutrements that give them their distinctive flavors, rather than different meats. Their meat are chicken and pastrami. Their choices of vegetarian sandwiches are large and the ones I have eaten have been very good.”
“This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Davis and I come here often. It's easy to access from the highway, with a decent parking lot, and ample outdoor seating. You line up right inside to counter order and they'll hand you a number stand, then they bring your food out to you when it's ready. There's a self-service tortilla chips and salsa bar in the back, and you can choose from any of the self-serve drink dispenser options (including the horchata) if you get a fountain drink (a la carte or as part of the daily special). I love how fast the food comes out and it's my go-to restaurant when I'm in a rush. I've had their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchilada specials, etc and they've tasted great every time. I highly recommend it!!”

“I seen a TikTok about this place and decided to try the Strawberry Matcha Latte. It was very high quality matcha, you can tell by the strong taste of the green tea leaves. It was very good and super nice drink size and amount.
I highly recommend stopping by here or ordering online from this place. I definitely wanna try the Vietnamese coffee next.”
“Saw it on the map and thought "wiki, cool." I saw it was in a best western and thought, "how cool could it be?" Well, very cool is the answer. Nice place to kill some time and get a mojito. I wanted to keep with the tropical theme.”
“Juzco has been around since I was in college decades ago. It has outlived Fuji and Davis Sushi Buffet. It's simple, and it known for their lunch buffet.
The last time I visited, I was surprised by the fish quality. I mean, the service is not lightning speed, and the ambience is not superb- but it's really good sushi! I am not surprised to hear the international Japanese students frequent Juzco- maybe it feels a bit like home.
Anyways, I gotta give Juzco another try as it's been a while, but for the quality- I think Juzco is up there. Huku is another quality option if you want a more comfortable atmosphere, and Zen Toro is also an average option as well.
Enjoy!”

“Stopped on our way through from Lake Tahoe to San Francisco. What a delicious lunch our family had !! Something for everyone even 2year old grandson ! We’re from Australia and this Mediterranean cuisine ranks up there with the best. Thanks so much for the complimentary baklava too !!”
“Tkumi is such a nice spot for ramen I genuinely love coming here not just for the food but for the entire atmosphere and experience. I rember one time I came here and ate ramen while watching the entire rush hour 1 film on their tv. I love their food options and styles of boba with their teas, its such a unique experience I try telling everyone I know to come and check out this place”
“Highly recommend!!Coho has many great food options, but a steamy bowl of delicious pho after classes always hits the spot! Meat here is juicy, vegetables fresh, and the broth variety allows me to experiment with different soup tastes. On certain days, I also like to grab some freshly-made sushi, especially the Rainbow Roll! The staff is friendly and very fast, rolling through a big line during regular noon rush hour in no time!”
“This place was nice, it wasn’t too busy which could be seen as either good or bad The atmosphere was calming, furniture was cozy. As for the food, It was amazing. The churros were gigantic and tasty, the ice cream is creamy and soft. 10 Bucks for the whole cup, not a bad place for a small date. Would go again!”
“Small quite korean bbq nice for a lowkey evening dinner. I had the bi bim bap. The seasoning and meat were so good. I also liked that i came with sides so i was pretty full. Delicious would go again.”
“Their quesabirria tacos were amazing, alongside with rice and beans. Service was amazing, I had Jorge as my server and he was so sweet / funny! Totally recommend trying this restaurant!”
“It's unusual to find a restaurant serving high quality Dim Sum outside of San Francisco, so it's always a treat to take my family to Well Season. Although I'm now comfortable with the variety of dishes available at a Dim Sum restaurant, I grew up in New Hampshire which, to the best of my knowledge, still doesn't have a single Dim Sum restaurant in the entire state. Nonetheless, the staff at Well Season are patient and helpful with newcomers . They have times when they serve from the traditional Dim Sum carts, but they also always have have plastic covered Dim Sum picture menus available that you can mark up with a dry erase marker to select the dishes you want. My favorites are Siu Mai (minced pork and shrimp dumplings) and Shrimp Har Gow (translucent or "crystal" shrimp dumplings. The only aspect of the restaurant that strikes me as odd is the venue. Well Season restaurant is in a former Applebees building, with lots of exterior windows, so the ambiance has a distinctive American feel to go with the traditional Dim Sum menu.”
“Great Beer, but your CARD ONLY policy is FKN LAMO - Cash is king... I don't liked to be track of what I do on my spare time.”

“I regularly go to two McDonald's in the region and order the exact same things.
It's restaurants like this one that really demonstrates how different franchisees can run their restaurants.
This McDonald's consistently gets my order right, serves fresh food, fast, and all with a friendly smile!
Not all McDonald's are created equal folks. 👏”

“Amazing smash burgers. I had the Bacon Avo Smash. YUM. This burger was legit. And I had the double. The best part of the bacon burger is that they solved the bacon problem on burgers, you know how you get a tooth on one of the bacon slices and the whole piece comes out instead of a part staying behind to be enjoyed with next bite? You know what I'm talking about. Well they solved it by diving the bacon, like you would have on a Cobb salad. So the bacon is wonderfully dispersed throughout the entire burger eating experience infused into the pepper jack cheese. Bravo! Genius! Delicious! I'll be back for sure.”

“I went with some of my friends yesterday, it was really fun! The shop is decorated really cutely and the tea was SOO GOOD! If you're looking for a sweet treat and collectibles this place has got you covered! I also saw a poster inside and it looks like they might sometimes host Pokemon card game which is cool!”
“Way back in Davis is super well managed and the manager, Rachel, is fantastic. She explained all the menu options at the Wayback Burger in Davis. Her enthusiasm and professionalism were exemplary. The burgers are indeed super delicious. My wife and I will be lifelong customers and recommend Wayback to all our friends.”
“This was my first time going to the Round Table Pizza in Davis, and I was honestly really impressed. The pizza came out hot and fresh, with plenty of toppings and a crust that was perfectly crispy without being dry. Everything tasted high quality, especially the sauce and cheese. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better for a first visit. Even though it was busy, they were efficient and made sure orders were handled smoothly.”
