“Distinctive & unexpected location but attractive, comfortable setting inside & out (we dined inside because too hot for the attractive patio during our visit but I imagine it would be quite pleasant in moderate & cooler weather). Menu offered nice mix of options & variety. We all enjoyed our meals. Our wait person was amiable, knowledgeable & responsive. Very likely to dine with them again!“

“Stumbled across Fluffy Donuts last night from a post on my Facebook feed and let’s just say went this morning and they do not disappoint. Amazing selection even though we got there a little late. Staff was great even gave us a couple extra of their favorites and again everything was delicious. Would highly recommend and Im excited to make it back a little earlier next time to see some of the other selections. Definite must try if you are looking for donuts and the bagels also look yummy.“

The portion was larger than I expected for the combo plate and nacho fries. It had great flavor and was a good deal for the price. They had a nice salsa variety, too. I'd eat here again.“

“Tasty Gourmet is such a great spot in Davis. They have all the classic Chinese-American dishes you’d expect, and everything we ordered was really good. The portions are also very generous, so you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay.

The bao dessert buns were especially amazing and were definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

What stood out the most, though, was how kind and attentive the staff were. I believe this is a family-run business, and you can really tell they take pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place where you feel genuinely welcomed, and I’d definitely come back again.“

“The sandwiches here are varies and creative. It's the various sauces and accoutrements that give them their distinctive flavors, rather than different meats. Their meat are chicken and pastrami. Their choices of vegetarian sandwiches are large and the ones I have eaten have been very good.“

“This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Davis and I come here often. It's easy to access from the highway, with a decent parking lot, and ample outdoor seating. You line up right inside to counter order and they'll hand you a number stand, then they bring your food out to you when it's ready. There's a self-service tortilla chips and salsa bar in the back, and you can choose from any of the self-serve drink dispenser options (including the horchata) if you get a fountain drink (a la carte or as part of the daily special). I love how fast the food comes out and it's my go-to restaurant when I'm in a rush. I've had their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchilada specials, etc and they've tasted great every time. I highly recommend it!!“

“There desert options are delicious. Their drink options are incredibly. And I don’t know what it is with the city of davis but this place is the only place where my tapioca pearls are actually smooth, chewy and sweet, and not just crumbling into powder. Their Taro is actually really smooth as well. A lot of boba shops in Davis have Taro be really powdery to the point where my drink is chunky but not Sharetea. I love this place. This is practically the only boba shop I order from anymore.“

“Omg!!! I have lived in Davis less than a quarter mile from Mr Pickles and I have never darkened their doorstep!!! I hate myself! Thinking back to all the times I was craving a French dip or reuben and it was at a stone's throw makes my brain want to implode!!!

Well, today was the day! I ordered both of those in sammie size just to try and also save for lunch tomorrow. I am so impressed and glad I've taken the chance. So fresh. High quality ingredients. Clean operation. Perfect portion. Plus each Sammie came with a cookie. What?!?!

“For years I've ordered the kid's chicken and rice plate with chips. Recently, I've been getting my new favorite: the chicken or steak border burrito. Damn that border burrito!!! It had caused my food baby to come alive and really should knock it off. I just won't, so there's that. Go get one and see for yourself.“

“Noodle House, as my family and I lovingly call it, is an icon in Davis. It's a little hole in the wall behind Sophia's Thai Bar that was referred to my husband and I 15 years ago. We walked in and almost left because it's small... and old... and a little sketchy? But we decided to give it a try anyway.
We have been coming regularly since then, and our family has grown, and grown up begging to go there for special occasions like getting good grades, etc. There is nothing we have had that isn't delicious.
I highly recommend the won ton noodle soup, pork chop noodle soup, szechuan eggplant with noodles, the potato curry with noodles, the 5 spice beef noodle soup, and the chow mein.
The noodles are homemade. The broths and sauces are unique, delicious, and literally award winning.
The service is fine. It's the same lady for the past several years. She's quick and efficient. Before that, I think it was her mom or aunt.
You won't regret trying it out - and if you do, you'll be back.“

“The outback setting feels like a movie set from the 80s or 90s and I’m into it. You order first, grab a spot, and they bring everything out in to-go containers… not my favorite move for dine-in, but this is a busy college town spot so clearly it works for them. Service was solid, food was good (not mind blowing, but it hits the spot), and I appreciate the range of vegan and vegetarian options. Easy place to land when you just want something satisfying without overthinking it. Solid 3.5–4 stars.“

“The CoHo is my favorite place to gather my energy with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. I have met many new friends there, as it is easy to start a conversation while choosing which coffee to have. As a photographer, I have also gotten some great shots!“

Thank you to Anthony who waited on us and also indulged us by explaining the correct pronunciation of the Vietnamese dishes.

We ordered the Banh Xeo which was crispy perfection served with fresh vegetables, the Pho Filet Mignon & Fat Brisket (the broth was flavorful and there was a lot of meat) and the Pork over Vermicelli ( a classic which delivered en pointe). The portions were generous and fairly priced.

We will definitely go back and make this a favorite restaurant for us in Davis.“

“The owner is a good man and good heart with a beautiful family. Me and my girlfriend came right before closing. He kindly accepted service still and provided more than we had paid for. Though he said it was because he “accidentally” made an extra order, we know why he provided more for us. The atmosphere was so inviting. So calm and kind. We owe another visit the FOOD WAS AMAZZZZINGGGG. Thank you if you see this. We appreciate what they have done. Nobody would ever regret coming here the sushi was top notch. I worked as a sushi chef before and this place is incomparable to any sushi I’ve had. Amazing. 11/10.

“Cuarto dining commons tends to have a good quality of food at any point of the day. My favorite time to go here is for dinner as they have more options during that time. Refreshments are always great and they have a ice cream freezer where you can get fudge pops, strawberry shortcake bars, ice cream sandwiches and whatnot at any point of the day.
