We had thai ice tea (free refills), satay, "drunken" noodles, and thai stir fry. Great service, too!

Great food and service. This was my girlfriends first time trying Thai food so I recommended chicken pad Thai and she loved it. I got the beef drunken noodles and they were also great. Prices were fair and portions are definitely large enough.
Got recommended to go here by some locals and was not disappointed! They had some lovely outdoor seating (both for the kitchen and the bar); it was a great place to enjoy a meal! The food was wonderful; I got the drunken noodles (delicious) and one of the best Thai teas I have ever had! (It was just the right amount of sweet!) The server we had was also super nice. The bar had lots of drink options - some great non-alcoholic ones too!

Sophia's Thai Bar & Kitchen is a popular restaurant known for its generous portions and friendly service. Many guests enjoy the variety of dishes, with favorites like Heavenly Beef, cashew chicken, and Pepper Stir Fry often highlighted. The outdoor seating adds to the pleasant dining experience, especially on Wednesdays when wine is half-price. The staff, including attentive servers like Naya and Matthew, are praised for their helpfulness and professionalism, making visitors feel welcomed and well cared for.
However, some reviews mention inconsistent food quality, noting that dishes like drunken noodles can be bland and claggy, and certain meals may lack authentic Thai flavors. A few diners found the food to taste more like generic stir fry, and some spicy dishes were not as spicy as expected. Prices are considered a bit high for the flavor profile, but portions are large enough for leftovers. Despite these mixed comments, many customers find the restaurant to be a reliable and enjoyable spot, with some calling it their favorite Thai restaurant in Davis. Overall, Sophia's Thai Bar & Kitchen offers a friendly atmosphere, good service, and satisfying meals, making it a go-to destination for Thai cuisine enthusiasts.
