“Happy we discovered this place. Was displeased with the fact our daughter knew of it and had not shared. Large portions, great flavor amd the girl that helped us was so sweet and gracious. We had planned on eating in, bit was not quite the vibe I was feeling. It was full and everyone was happy but, I was more comfortable taking it home. See you soon.“

“I got the half/half. Chicken Katsu is bomb crunchy with good flavor, tasty katsu dip. Yummy short ribs too. Macaroni salad basic. Great portion of everything. I can’t finish in 1 sitting. Could use more Hawaiian vibes decor inside & out.“

“I got the regular chicken katsu plate with 2 mac and 1 rice scoop to-go ($14.25). the chicken portions are really generous! there was a nice crunch to the chicken without it being too dry, and the sauce paired really nicely with everything.

“This restaurant has risen to one of my top Downtown Davis faves! The price-to-portion ratio is excellent, especially if you’re there on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. The food is also always well-cooked and flavorful. Customers also have access to the drink dispenser. If only they had been here during my college years!“
